Front staff was nice. Appetizers were lackluster. Tried the Mini Juicy Beef Buns and Wonton soup. Nothing seemed to be made fresh. The flavors were absent in both dishes. The buns were really mini and felt like they were steamed from frozen, or from a store bought bag. The juice was a little flavorful but nothing in the meat. Even if you ate all 6, it's not filling for the $9+ price tag. The small wonton soup had color but lacked flavor. The wonton wrapping seemed a little soggy too. There were also no fried noodles to go with it. The meal ended quickly for $15. Based on these two dishes, I cannot give a good rating. read more

Ordered for New Years Eve. Ordered through DoorDash by 6 pm. $150 worth of food. Doordash sent 5 different drivers to pick up the food. Never ready. By 9pm cancelled the order. Tried to call for over an hour. Phone off the hook. They finally answered and hung up. 2nd time they answered just a bunch of voices laughing in the background. Felt bad for the drivers who would never get paid for their efforts. Felt bad for my NYE guests that never got fed. Completely incompetent restaurant then obviously couldn't care less about their customers. Walk in and you are greeted with a full bar. Not many diners for eat-in but it did pick up later. The service was good. The food was good. I ordered take out from here about a year ago and the food was great. I just ordered it again last night and unfortunately, the General Gau's chicken was not edible. It was chewy and had a very stringy and fatty texture. I took a few bites and had to throw it away. The lo mein tasted ok but left a really bad greasy coating in my mouth. The grab Rangoon was great and the beef teriyaki that my kids got was really good. I'm not sure if this was just one bad experience, but the chicken was so disgusting I wouldn't have it in me to give it another try. I basically threw $75 in the trash. This was my first time and I got take out. I got Yun Yang spicy beef and Kung Pao chicken. Both dishes were very tasty and good portions. The food was fresh and not soaked in oil. Some places use the same oil and use the same sauce for everything BUT not here. Very flavorful and distinctly different. I will definately go back soon. read more

This was a pleasant surprise. I had expected the usual - not very good - suburban American Chinese fare, but this place way exceeded expectations. Prices were quite reasonable, portions were generous, and the dishes were, for the most part, not swimming in sauce. I felt they were generous with the veggies and chicken (which could have been a little more tender) and the sauces were not bland, but not too spicy. They are located in a Strip Mall that is still under construction so they are kind of easy to miss. I had thought they were closed when I first came up for lunch, but luckily they were open. Decent sized seating area with a bar right by the entrance. I decided to eat right at the bar which you can order from the same menu as if you were seated. The food was good and it came out quickly. Great place for drinks as they're are made very well as they're know for their Mai Tai's, but after that it goes down hill from there. If you've been here before you know who Jerry is, as I've been coming here for almost 10 years and he's always there. He's great service wise, always has a smile, and is very much on top of things, but the other staff members get frazzled with very little customers there, and my last 2 times they literally just forget everything that's going on. I know they're trying as you see everyone working and interacting with customers, but to have to wait 20 mins to get another drink and another 15 minutes to get the check when you asked for it was pretty annoying. read more

Food is appalling despite nice ingredients but it is devoid of flavor or authenticity. The Hunan Beef and the Szechuan Beef share the same general sweet gloopy consistency. Zero spiciness despite the chili symbol. I tipped 2 chili oil dishes and 1 hot mustard in my dish to try to liven it up. Bar is ok and service is fine. Guess they are catering to a palate more attuned to clam chowder so are adapting to customers. The food tastes like what you get in the Food court at the Mall. read more

Food used to be good, new ownership I guess and it's not as good. Take out is hit or miss. Got a bad reaction from one of the drinks tonight. First drink was good, other bartender made the same drink and it was like gasoline. Asked what she put in that one to make it so different from the first and it was like 2 bottles of something I've never seen before. Seemed like very low quality stuff that they tried to slip in to save some money. Been going here for years but honestly no reason to go back. When the food is fresh it's ok, but seems like leftovers in the warmer from lunch most of the time. Some of the bartenders are good and cheap drinks, but maybe keep an eye out for the fuckery. Hungry after a long day at work. This was one of few that were still opened after 9pm. The taste of the food was a 2 for the Marco Polo and a 4 got the chicken wings and beef teriyaki. The low rating was for the portion of the Marco Polo noodle dish. This was a dish with shrimp, pork and lobster sauce over noodles. To my disappointment, there were only 2 pieces of shrimps and five small pieces of pork. The rest were overly salty shredded pork that comes with the lobster sauce. The takeout container was a little more than half full. For the price, I was expecting at least double The amount of food for this dish. Upon walking in I saw a full bar full of local patrons, and then further back was a dining area more typical of a Chinese restaurant. My family and I were the only Chinese people in the place other than the owner and staff, and we were immediately seated in the dining area. The menu was pretty standard and we got our food quickly. Recently moved to this area and was craving some chinese food. I've had my share of authentic chinese food, as I have many chinese friends and have eating a lot of food with them. This place is a good mix of authentic and americanized chinese food. I got the salt and pepper shrimp which was great and a good amount of spice, orange chicken which is a classic, crab rangoons were great and crispy. I also got string beans with garlic sauce, which was also good and pretty spicy. Can't wait to try more! The fried rice is really good and does not taste too greasy at all.
