I enrolled at Blossom Nursing Assistant Training School because they offered weekend course and I work full time during the week. Every class included in something going wrong. More times than not, we were outside waiting for an instructor to come and open up. (John, one of the instructors, was the only instructor on time and ready to go at the beginning of every class and clinical - We appreciate John!!) The schedule was changed after payment of the course, which added on a Friday class which most of the students weren't able to do. We were required last minute to change our schedules to be there as it was mandatory. Clinicals were in Federal Way because Blossom students were no longer welcome at the Lakewood and Tacoma long term card facilities. We were not notified what day our CPR class would be held until it was that day and lunch time comes and the instructor said we would be staying 4 hours after class ended to get it done. Since there was no warning, dinner wasn't packed, childcare wasn't handled - it was very unorganized and rude. The owner said that the state testing would be held at our facility (Lakewood location) so my classmates and I put down a deposit to secure our spots and then the location changed. This required myself and others to come an additional weekend to familiarize ourselves with the Kent location in order to be more successful during our test. This business just needs to work out its kinks and be respectful of the students. We respected the Blossom building, materials and instructors' time, why wasn't ours kept in mind when all these changes were made?

Our daughter is now almost one year old and is extremely sociable, outgoing, and engaging and we believe Kindermusik is a big reason why. She gets extra giggly and bouncy from the moment we walk into the building for her weekly class. We highly recommend Kiddos and Kin. Sometimes I think I have more fun in the class than my baby. I decided to tour some schools anyway, and even before my walkthrough here ended I knew this was the place. The owners and teachers have been in the business for decades. They are all incredibly concerned with how the students are doing and what they're understanding. I love how Alexandar embraces all styles of massage and allows the students to find their own flow rather than memorize sequences. We get plenty of clinical instruction as well as relaxation and spa, making for a well-rounded LMP. I've grown intellectually here, but this school also embraces and encourages spiritual and emotional growth. It's a holistic program that nurtures students and makes sure we have a solid foundation with the business side of things as well. It's truly been an amazing experience learning here. I would recommend the school to anyone interested in massage.

I thought our original Arthur Murray was expensive as after the initial new student specials, the prices were significantly more than other studios. Of course by then we were committed as my husband loved our instructor and the other students. Each studio has been progressively more expensive. This studio is 25% more than the base price we paid across the country (and no, rents aren't that different). The sale price here is significantly more than the sale prices there (to be fair, at least this studio does sales- our second one did not). The staff here is very talented (though they do have a few newer instructors that are definitely still learning). The students are nice as well though the overall vibe is less friendly/open than our first studio where it honestly felt like a family. Here, the shared bond is dance and you won't learn much about the staff beyond that. This isn't a bad thing, just different. Over all, if you choose ballroom dancing as a hobby, this is definitely one of the best places to do it. Just... know its going to be a very expensive hobby.

It's…read moremostly designed for the parents, but my son enjoyed listening to all the fun songs, watching our hand motions, and playing with the other kids. The atmosphere in our session was family-friendly and casual, with lots of opportunities to ask questions and interact with one another. The CD that came with the manual has all the silly songs on it, so we can practice at home. The manual shows pictures for how to do all the signs, but having the instructor there to do the signs in person and correct our hand motions made a huge difference. The instructor, Alison, even showed us how to sign one of our family favorites: The Very Hungry Catterpillar. I am amazed at how many signs I actually learned by the end of 6 weeks. I recommend this for families of babies ages 4-months to 1 1/2 yrs old. We're looking forward to taking Level 2 pretty soon!

Warehouse was huge and she did have a great sale. Her items are pretty fuffy and expensive to say the least. I looked at a small wooden jewelry box that would have normally been a maximum of $25 at any antique shop. She wanted $1250 for it. Even when you take 80% off that it is ridiculous. She overcharges for everything. She may have nice products but not many can afford them.
