I've been struggling with accuracy and my instructor helped me work on some new fundamentals I was not familiar with in addition to pointing out some things I did know about but was actually doing incorrectly! I can't recommend Empower Her Firearm Training enough. I learned so much and am looking forward to more sessions. I feel as though I am well on my way to correcting some bad habits I've developed over the past year and looking forward to working on and improving my fundamentals. Pretty accommodating to people of the club and for guests. Second time was on Tuesday, 12/26/23. Went in the afternoon, wasn't that packed at all. Maybe 10 others, at most for the handgun and rifle shooting range areas. Shot for a bit in the handgun range and then moved on to the rifle outdoor range to try out the AR and a Sniper Rifle. 100-200 yard targets were set. Enjoyed taking a few shots of each!!! Liked shooting the Sniper Rifle the most! Will be back again.

RO's and the rules are ancient and kind of ridiculous. Cant draw from holster or concealment, 1 shot per second, so on and so on. Action bays can only be used if you go attend a 2 day NROI class and get a "range officer" certification, even then you still have to be approved to use the bays during off time. If your into real training and defensive shooting this range will do nothing for you. Your better off finding a spot in the woods to yourself.

The parking lot was clean and the building is in good shape, though it could use a refresh. The staff was friendly, and the older gentleman who explained the range rules was engaging and easy to talk with. He took a little longer with me than I expected, but that likely had to do with a couple factors--either way, he was personable. My membership was reasonably priced, and because of my age I received a discount. Once I was in the range area, everything looked very clean and well organized, with clear signage and defined procedures. One difference I noticed versus Wade's: there wasn't a range master on hand in the same way to support guests and help ensure rules were being followed. After that finishing up in the range I headed back to the front in the retail area. I decided I wanted to buy a couple holsters. However, I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes and it became clear I wasn't going to receive service. The surprising part was that I was the only person standing there. At that point, I understand why I didn't get served, but it felt disappointing. And the irony is that I likely would have spent more money since the range desk experience elsewhere was great. No worries--there are plenty of other places to buy holsters. When I exited, I thanked them, but I didn't get a response (or they may not have heard me). Overall, I'm mixed on guest service... Since I'm a member, I'll probably give it another try.
