Their version of a taco salad. Yellow tomatoes, stale chips, and missing the sour cream I ordered.

3 times I've ordered and 3 times it's been wrong. Stale ingredients, not ripe vegetables, forgetting items. Have some pride in your work

Taco Salad

I used to love Fox's when they were over on West Penn. My boyfriend lives over there, basically right next door. So we ate there a lot. Our first date was there back in high school. I loved that their menu was so diverse and the food was always great. The workers knew us both by name. Now that they've moved to a new location, the service is terrible, the food is gross, I'm disappointed. The Fox's I once knew and loved is now gone. Tonight we ordered three things. A wedgie for my boyfriend, plain boneless wings for our son(he's only 2) and a taco salad for myself. Their taco salad used to be my favorite thing on their menu. Until tonight. It was greasy, soggy and just all around unpleasant. My boyfriends wedgie was sloppy and looked microwaved. At least they got our sons chicken correct. Not to mention that my boyfriend had to chase down the delivery driver because he forgot my salad in his car. His response was, "I should've looked at the receipt." No duh? That's common sense for a delivery driver! I'll stick to ordering from The Penn Street Pizza that took fox's place or Papa Johns.

One of the worst pizzas in butler. Dry and flavorless, location is awful to get in and out of. Would not recommend save your $

Firstly, I want to get something out of the way. I am a genuine New York City/New Jersey Bagel…read moresnob. My experience with Bagels hails back to the old H&H on the West Side of Manhattan on Broadway. They had a world-class shipping business which the owner squandered with drugs and tax evasion. What a pity. My second favorite place in New York is Best Bagels and Coffee in Hells kitchen. Fantastic. So here I find myself moving to the Pittsburgh area and wondering if these people know anything about Bagels. I visited a place called Pigeon Bagels. The lines were down the block on a Sunday morning for that place. The bagels were just ok. They were not super bagels like New York City. They were certainly not worth waiting a half an hour to get a dozen bagels that were just ok. So I had my son bring out five dozen bagels from New Jersey the other day. That'll hold me over. Doing my Bagel surveillance, I found out there was a place in Butler that claimed to have New Jersey bagels. This morning I checked it out with very little hope of believing the hype. I had an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, onion, and tomato. My wife tried the blueberry bagel. To my utter surprise, the sandwich was really good! If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I can be brutal when it comes to reviewing Bagels. As someone who used to live in New Jersey and who used to frequent H&H bagels, having lived in Manhattan, this baby is the real deal. The real McCoy. The genuine article. You get my point. I'll be coming to Downtown Bagels often. The price for the individual bagels are on the high side by over a dollar, but the sandwich prices are very reasonable. I'm going to give this place two thumbs up.

Ive driven through and been to Butler, plenty of times, but until most recently , upon doing a…read morediner search discovered this place . The old automobile sign decor, milkshake bar, open kitchen concept and friendly staff, left a memorable impression. Big shout out to the couple, the hostess sat me with at the milkshake section of restaurant, and Lindsey one of the owners, for taking care of us. The food was plated to perfection, tasted amazing and the side salad, beyond anyone wildest dream of wow for a diner. Great portions of food, went with the sandwich special for the day. Lindsey, was engaging, great multi tasker and definitely shake master. She had to have done quite a few shakes as I watched and waited for my food. If your looking for milkshakes, burgers, prime rib, be sure to check Chop Shop out.

Timing is Everything!!!…read more I just happened to stop in at the Chop Shop in Downtown Butler, PA, during a recent Heatwave. As my luck would have it, I quickly discovered that this restaurant does not have air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was just offline or if it is permanent; however, be warned!! The restaurant had children and elderly people seated, so I couldn't wimp out and go somewhere else. The Chop SHop is a downtown Butler must-try, and it is three concepts rolled into one. The Chop Shop is a vintage-style eatery serving sandwiches, milkshakes, burgers, vegetarian fare and grilled meats. I ordered their specialty milkshake, which is a loaded milkshake that comes with everything thrown into one Milkshake. Although it was a perfect drink for a heatwave, my milkshake quickly melted due to the heat in the restaurant. For the main course, I ordered the Mixed Grill, which had grilled elk tenderloin, smoked quail, caramelized bacon brussels sprouts, dauphinoise potatoes and a blackberry brandy demi-glaze. The food was awesome, and those potatoes were crazy-good. The Elk was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the quail was tender and juicy. Overall, a good but hot dining experience. The Chop Shop has great food, great service, and one day may serve alcohol in the restaurant, but for now, their food and drinks can be enjoyed without it.
