    Iced Coffee

Stumbled on this coffee shop since it was right next door to the Aloft Delray Hotel. It's small but cute!! The owners were so nice and the serve great coffee. I loved my hazelnut iced latte. Def check it out if you are in the area.

Great experience! We are staying in Delray for a few days and decided to stop and get this for breakfast. very affordable and flavorful sandwiches for a great price! Five star, great building and service

It's all about the beans baby. Deliberately came to Foxtrail Coffee when I saw they roasted their own beans. Ordered a drip, good body with a gentle undertone. I ordered the muffin egg sandwich was definitely underwhelming. It was pre made, quickly heated up, and the size of my patella.

Located right next to the Aloft hotel on Federal. No on-street parking but you can pull in the hotel garage. It is very small with a counter bar top. Grab and go sort of place, not for lingering. I tried a cold brew. It was small and expensive. Typically cold brew is really strong with a smooth flavor. This was meh... and there was way too much ice in the cup, making it even smaller. It was prepared quickly and correctly. I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Foxtail is a small coffee bar located in the Aloft Delray Beach hotel building a few blocks south of Atlantic Ave on SE 5th Ave (Federal Highway). There's no street parking, but there are spots in the garage on the ground level and few along SE 3rd St. I had the 2 oz Cafe Cubano which was dark, bold and sweet. Foxtail has locations across Florida and Georgia.

Really good coffee and friendly service! Love that it's a fairly close walk to the beach.

Excellent coffee spot! Very small place but easy to grab a coffee to go. There are many options for your drink and they also offer sugar free syrup! The girl who made our coffee, Mia was outstanding! Make sure to order the Turkey sausage egg bites, very delicious!

I ordered an iced cappuccino with whole milk and honey (they only offer 2 milks - whole and a homemade cashew milk). We got our drinks and proceeded to the beach. Sip 1, I started to feel funny and thought there was no way they didn't put whole milk in my drink. 2nd sip, and my whole body began to sweat, throat started to tingle, and I began losing strength and energy. Surely enough, the barista had made my drink with the homemade cashew milk. I'll spare you the details of the proceeding traumatizing events of my anaphylactic shock, but I am thanking the lord I was with people I love, had my EpiPen, and that the ambulance EMTs, and doctors at Bethesda Memorial ER were wonderful and attentive. I would like to acknowledge who I believe was the owner. He overheard my sister run into the cafe to ask the barista what kind of milk was in the drink. After she left the barely-drank drink on the counter and ran out, he chased us down the sidewalk when we were rushing back to our hotel and offered us Benadryl he had on hand. Obviously, he did not realize how severe the situation was and the Benadryl exited my body just a few minutes later, but it was kind of him to do. I am writing this review as both a warning to patrons to verify the ingredients in their drinks before drinking them if they have life-threatening food allergies like me (I obviously wish I had heeded my own advice). I am also writing this as hopefully a wake-up call for the employees of Deke's: food safety is your #1 priority as a food and beverage establishment. You offer only TWO milks. I asked for one of the milks, and you gave me the other, which was a milk made with 1 of the country's 9 major food allergens (tree nuts). This is not a situation of me not liking my drink - this is a matter of life or death. I was lucky enough to be with people I love and have a life-saving medical device at my hotel that I was able to use when my body was being deprived of oxygen and shutting down on itself. Some people are not so lucky. While I am sure you take pride in the drinks you are making, I am urging you to take more care for the people who are drinking them.

This is the first location of The Seed that I've been to, so I'm not sure how other locations compare, but this one was pretty small in general with limited seating inside. Luckily my fiancé and I got there while it was empty, so we were able to choose two of the four bar seats along the wall across from the counter. I had a latte with almond milk and house-made lavender syrup, and we each had a classic croissant sandwich. Latte with house-made lavender syrup: I really enjoyed this. My fiancé described this as a "mix of coffee and tea", which I think was fitting. The lavender syrup sweetened the coffee with light floral notes and the latte was a great balance between herbal, floral, and creamy overall. Classic croissant sandwich: The egg patty was pretty thick, I'd say just under a 1/2" thick. It was packed with bacon and cheese, and the sandwich was toasted the way I liked. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and overall I enjoyed the sandwich. There wasn't anything unique about the sandwich though, it was just a solid breakfast croissant sandwich that was made well. No special sauces or other ingredients. I guess that's why it's the classic. The staff was nice and pleasant, and our food and drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time. I do think the food and drink were a bit overpriced for what it was (our bill was ~$40 for two sandwiches and two drinks), but they say the ingredients are all locally sourced so I'm assuming that's why. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd certainly choose this The Seed over a larger chain coffee shop. Just know that the dollars can add up quickly here!
