First coffee of the day and super pleased to see that Foxtail opens at 6am (every day!). That was needed after a good night's sleep and ready to explore Palm Beach County today. A lovely barista was trying hard to keep up with the steady flow of customers. She was pleasant and patient and very hard working. My cortado was good, Mrs. K.'s latte was better and we split a warmed blueberry muffin while sitting out front to watch the traffic whizzing by on Federal Highway because the air conditioning was on full blast inside. Located right next to the Aloft hotel on Federal. No on-street parking but you can pull in the hotel garage. It is very small with a counter bar top. Grab and go sort of place, not for lingering. I tried a cold brew. It was small and expensive. Typically cold brew is really strong with a smooth flavor. This was meh... and there was way too much ice in the cup, making it even smaller. It was prepared quickly and correctly. I wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

Been a fan of Foxtail for a long time ever since I first tried it in Melbourne FL. Was excited to see it come to Delray Beach. And have been a regular customer since. I've also been to the locations in Boca Raton and Pompano Beach. This Delray location is really nice connected to the aloft hotel. Their coffee is really great. I always get their cold brew and my wife always likes their lattes. They do a good job with the signature lattes coming up with really fun and unique flavors all the time. Good reward program too for loyalty members. The brand needs to work on elevating their food program in my opinion because that part is lacking. But the reason for my 5-Star review today is that the team at this particular location is EXCELLENT. Warm and friendly Super personable. Always on point and just make the experience really pleasant. In today's world it's so hard to find good customer service and I have to give credit where credit is due that the ladies who run this store do a phenomenal job day in and day out and deserve recognition! read more

Went in hoping to grab a bag of good fresh roasted coffee beans for espresso. Asked the girl working, who wasn't very personable, if the whole beans could be ground very fine for espresso. Her reply was yes. Assuming a "barista" at a café knew what she was doing, I went home with my bag of ground espresso to find out it was about as coarse as if I crushed it with a hammer. Did she not listen to my request, did she forget the request, does she not know what she was doing? Anyways use caution if you request your beans ground in house. Only reason I gave 2 stars inst ad of one is because the drinks we ordered were good. Waste of an $20 bag of coffee. read more

Located right next to the Aloft Delray Beach, this is a great coffee shop option. They have a wide selection of hot and cold coffees and teas as well as a slew of baked goodies. The staff is super knowledgeable and kind and they are as efficient as they are friendly. The shop is very well decorated and clean. Small indoor and outdoor seating. A very good choice! read more
