Cute coffee shop near FAU. Stopped in here with my bestie and we loved it. I got the Cinnabee iced latte and she got the strawberries and cream matcha latte. We also both got the bagel bomb -- it was more like a croissant stuffed with cream cheese than an actual bagel, but still delicious. Mine came out piping hot, and the cream cheese was scorching too, so I had to let it cool before taking another bite. They also have juices, water, and other grab-and-go bites in the cooler near the front entrance. There's seating inside and outside, plus a covered corner area near a green space that was really nice -- that's where we sat to chat and sip. I know there's a location closer to home for me, so I can't wait to check that one out too. Overall a nice place with delicious drinks and small bites. You get what you pay for -- it was $25 for both our iced drinks and bagel bombs -- but I get it, and I wasn't disappointed with the quality. I have been DYING to come here after stumbling across their Instagram. Specifically the spring menu- I got the banana bread cold brew. Banana bread is super in right now & it's for a good reason! I don't even like banana bread but the flavor goes so well with coffee, especially cold brew! Top 5 cold brews I've ever had. Already hyped for their summer menu. I wasn't even hungry but when I saw the paradise sliders on the menu I knew I had to order it. The staff was so so sweet, when I ordered they even asked if I wanted extra paradise sauce (who doesn't want extra??) 10/10 no notes. The sausage & egg is obvi solid but the sauce does push it over the edge. I would like to check out the other locations- this was one a decent size, good amount of seating in & outside. The setup of The Seed is similar to most coffee shops. You walk up to the counter, order and then pick it up on the other side of the counter. The service at this location was not it. When I walked up to the register, I wasn't greeted or spoken to. I began ordering and asked for nonfat milk. The woman, with an attitude, said "we don't have nonfat milk. Only two percent or alternative milks." I felt like I was being judged because it was clear I was not a regular customer. The coffee itself was really good. My latte was very smooth. I also ordered a spinach and cheese empanada, which was filled well and tasty. There are also not a lot of seats inside, but they have additional seating outside. The coffee and food is good. I've been to the seed before and often tell people that this place has my favorite coffee. I'm not sure if it's this location or if there was a mix up but unfortunately the cinnamon toast crunch latte that my partner ordered tasted almost like black coffee. There was absolutely no flavor. The banana bread cold brew that I ordered was pretty tasty and I enjoyed it. Hopefully this is a one time thing but super disappointing for it being his first time trying the seed! read more

I found the seed on google because I love exploring new coffee shops and WOW! This spot is fantastic. The decor is beautiful, the service is 10/10 and the food/coffee is amazing. I ordered the Florida burrito which was wonderful. This burrito comes with an orange sauce and is so soft and just melts in your mouth. It has korean-style turkey bacon, turkey sausage, and scallion potatoes. A must have if you are eating here. The most unique thing about the seed is that they have coffee flavored ice cubes for only $1 extra! It helps so much to not water down the coffee. I usually take a while to drink my coffee, so this is very helpful for me. The taste of the coffee here is smooth and strong. I ordered the coldbrew with almond milk and 2 sugar free vanilla pumps. I also ordered the Posty protein smoothie. It has almond milk, Blackberry, Blueberry, Banana, Chia Seeds, Almond Butter, Honey, Vanilla Protein, and Topped with Hemp Seeds. So fresh and so smooth. Right now in the winter season they have cookie butter matcha, its so good. I also tried the pumpkin bagel bomb, which was pretty good. The bread is not like a bagel, its more like a brioche to me. Its not as dense as a bagel but it was good. I Also tried the min egg and sausage sandwich which seems to be the same king of bread used for the bagel bomb. Both were good. Hubby and I just wrapped up an errand in one of the business parks along Yamato near Congress and I was in a need for coffee and a snack; I did a search for the nearest Starbucks and then I noticed "The Seed" and I was quite surprised. Never knew they opened another one (usually we visit the one on Palmetto). We walk in and it was packed; about 10 people in line and no where to sit. Outside had a couple of open tables on the sidewalk but it was hot. Of course I still ordered and we took our goodies to go. Consistently delicious food and coffee at all Seed Coffee locations. I frequent the one on Yamato Road due to proximity. Today, I opened for the crisp and smooth cold brew coffee topped with the perfectly sweetened strawberries and cream cold foam. Oh-em-gee! I loved coming here the day I came they had our side vendors selling many different cool things like jewelry and shirts. Clearly, this place is POPULAR. Stopping by on a Thursday morning around 9am, there was a consistent line and most of the tables inside and out were full. However, I found it a little overrated. Here's why. 1) Service: As a first-timer, we were a little clunky in ordering. Staff were not having it and not friendly at all. 2) Food: The bacon quiche was good (and big), but the cinnamon roll was dry and lacked much frosting. Even my eight-year-old's sweet tooth passed after a few bites. 3) Coffee: I ordered one of their specialty drinks and it lacked flavor and balance. Perhaps it was an off day. This place is super cute and has really good coffee. I honestly don't even like coffee and I ended up getting a caramel latte here to try with my mother-in-law. I ended up liking it so much that I went back the next day and got another. They have really cute cake pops as well that are even larger than the Starbucks ones. They have breakfast items and even smoothies. I have gotten a smoothie and added the coffee ice cubes, which was a great addition to the smoothie. read more

How does anyone justify $9 for coffee? Who still charges $1 for non-dairy milk, when Starbucks stopped charging for non dairy? Majority of coffee shops I frequent charge 50 cents for non-dairy, or no charge at all. The atmosphere is cute but the price of the coffee does not justify future trips. Establishments such as this prey on local customers. High prices also impact how much their hard working employees are tipped. It's a shame what happened to the Seed, it used to be a great local cafe that supported its local community, but a change happened since 2020 and it is no longer sustainable on the local economy. read more

Great coffee and the baked goods looked delicious, but I did not try them this time. I will say that this is not the kind of coffee shop where you can come to work or even sit for a period time, as there is limited seating. There is one small table with a hanging chair and another chair, and a few other barstool chairs that wouldn't be comfortable for a long period of time.
