It's such a cute coffee place inside The Ray Hotel. I loved being able to get my black coffee and fruit salad and sit in the nice comfy chairs in the lobby. I was a little surprised however-I was here for national coffee day and they didn't acknowledge it in any way whatsoever! It's good for a change of pace from all of the other coffee shops around town. I loved meeting my good friend here for coffee and good conversation! I parked on the street and it was easy in the morning and that's a good thing!

Nice setting, good selections of pastries and coffees. Inside the hotel but you can get in through the corner.

There are a number of coffee shops in Del Ray Beach, but a high Yelp rating brought me to this tiny shop inside The Ray Hotel.

And we both chose different fruit bowls where the fruit was fresh, varied and delicious. The bowl was a good value but juices felt a bit overpriced considering my experience with Pressed juices. This is the first location of The Seed that I've been to, so I'm not sure how other locations compare, but this one was pretty small in general with limited seating inside. Luckily my fiancé and I got there while it was empty, so we were able to choose two of the four bar seats along the wall across from the counter. I had a latte with almond milk and house-made lavender syrup, and we each had a classic croissant sandwich. Latte with house-made lavender syrup: I really enjoyed this. My fiancé described this as a "mix of coffee and tea", which I think was fitting. The lavender syrup sweetened the coffee with light floral notes and the latte was a great balance between herbal, floral, and creamy overall. Classic croissant sandwich: The egg patty was pretty thick, I'd say just under a 1/2" thick. It was packed with bacon and cheese, and the sandwich was toasted the way I liked. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and overall I enjoyed the sandwich. There wasn't anything unique about the sandwich though, it was just a solid breakfast croissant sandwich that was made well. No special sauces or other ingredients. I guess that's why it's the classic. The staff was nice and pleasant, and our food and drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time. I do think the food and drink were a bit overpriced for what it was (our bill was ~$40 for two sandwiches and two drinks), but they say the ingredients are all locally sourced so I'm assuming that's why. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd certainly choose this The Seed over a larger chain coffee shop. Just know that the dollars can add up quickly here!

Despite this, the employee prepared the smoothie with banana while we all watched. When we asked again to confirm there was no banana, she said there wasn't even though she had just added it. We had to throw the smoothie away without even being able to drink it. As we were leaving, she then mentioned that bananas are regularly used in the blender, meaning there could be cross-contamination. This should have been communicated before paying and preparing the drink, especially given a stated allergy. This situation could have been very dangerous. There was a clear lack of attention and awareness regarding food allergies. Staff should be properly trained to handle allergy-related requests. I would rather go out of my way to another location than return here.

My favorite treat here is the classic acai bowl. You can customize to your liking and it's always delicious. They have multiple types of bowls, too, including mango, coconut, banana, and pitaya. There's something for everyone! Also, I adore the monthly stickers and my water bottle is full of them.

The two guys that are always working never greet Me when I come in they always just look at Me like "What do you want" and everytime I am super shocked because am there atleast a few times a month. Other than the behavior/ demeanor of the staff towards Me. I love everything about this place. The atmosphere is so relaxing and eccentric from the raw juice smelled to the outside sitting area setup. There are so many juice and smoothie options. I love the fact that with any combination they have available you can always add additional product items no additional charge. The "Little Havana" is my favorite for a smoothie regular size (16oz) and Juice it's around $22 dollars roughly. Planet juice does have a rewards system where they give you a little stamp for every juice, smoothie, bowl, sandwich you buy. After 8 stamps you get a free item off the menu. I strongly dislike that they don't promote it or ask if you have a rewards card because at times I forget my card to stamp at home.

We also both got the bagel bomb -- it was more like a croissant stuffed with cream cheese than an actual bagel, but still delicious. Mine came out piping hot, and the cream cheese was scorching too, so I had to let it cool before taking another bite. They also have juices, water, and other grab-and-go bites in the cooler near the front entrance. There's seating inside and outside, plus a covered corner area near a green space that was really nice -- that's where we sat to chat and sip. I know there's a location closer to home for me, so I can't wait to check that one out too. Overall a nice place with delicious drinks and small bites. You get what you pay for -- it was $25 for both our iced drinks and bagel bombs -- but I get it, and I wasn't disappointed with the quality. I'd definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Banana bread is super in right now & it's for a good reason! I don't even like banana bread but the flavor goes so well with coffee, especially cold brew! Top 5 cold brews I've ever had. Already hyped for their summer menu. I wasn't even hungry but when I saw the paradise sliders on the menu I knew I had to order it. The staff was so so sweet, when I ordered they even asked if I wanted extra paradise sauce (who doesn't want extra??) 10/10 no notes. The sausage & egg is obvi solid but the sauce does push it over the edge. I would like to check out the other locations- this was one a decent size, good amount of seating in & outside. Seed you later!
