Foxtail Coffee shops are known to be cute and have a very consistent aesthetic. It's kind of a chill yet industrial setup. Lots of seating here and most days you'll probably find it full of college students as it's just down the street from UCF. I tried a barista special coffee and it was decent. A lot of their specialty drinks are super sweet unless you ask for otherwise. I do like the assortment of pastries and goodies they have here. There's also a drive thru which can be a convenient option. Plenty of seating in here to be able to sit and stay for awhile. read more

Today I'm hanging out with a friend over near the Ucf area and I decided to stop and get him some coffee before we hung out. I believe I got him an iced coffee with oat milk and butterscotch flavoring and a double shot of espresso; my coffee was only $5.25!! Normally if I got that same order at Starbucks it would've been like 10 bucks. Before he has a sip of his coffee, I will actually be tasting it because I've never had Foxtail coffee before. I really like the spot in particular they have a drive-through so if I'm in my car or making errands, I can just do the drive-through. The person doing the drive-through and making the coffee is very quick. I've only been waiting about 3 to 5 minutes so far. Just took a sip of my friends coffee that I got him and it tastes amazing. Great place for coffee close to UCF! Compared to a lot of other locations, this location has plenty of seating and parking! People working here are super friendly and really quick to get your order out. Love the calm and quiet ambiance. The perfect place to kill time or to catch up with friends. The name Foxtail reminds me of the place that builds iPhones. It's a coffee shop and the people are friendly. The Coffee is just OK. I have yet to try something that is unique or mind-blowing. I really love supporting this coffee shop, as there are multiple locations around Orlando. Just hope that this location in particular can hire more trustworthy staff. Ellie at the Foxtail on University made my day! She was immensely kind, personable, professional, and helpful! After telling her I had had a long day, she not only gave fun and helpful suggestions on my order but treated me to my beverage! She is an incredible asset to this location and I hope they value her well! My drink was also delicious! I ordered an iced matcha latte with lavender bitters and Ellie added some vanilla as well to make it even more special. It was so good and the perfect pick-me-up! She even tested it herself in a small cup to make sure that the flavors were all going to pair well together. The atmosphere is great as well! Previously, this location was a frigid tundra which made it difficult to sit, relax, and enjoy but I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case today. The temperature was comfortable. The leather seats were slightly too deeply set to chat with someone but I'm sure they are great for reading in. I did visit while UCF was out of session which may have contributed to the availability of tables. The playlist was great and the environment had a noise balance that allowed some to focus on work and some to chat amongst friends. I come at least 2-3 time a week before/in between classes. Everything I've tried thus far has actually impressed me. They have two refrigerated sections that have premade cold sandwiches, wraps, parfaits, and drinks. Within their bakery selection they have a good variety of pastries, breakfast/lunch sandwiches, pizzas, and other sweet baked goods that can all be warmed up upon request. I usually get the bacon egg and cheese biscuit in the mornings. I am genuinely pleased at how fluffy the biscuit is and the size of the three components. Nice thin crispy slice of bacon and the egg patty with melted cheese make a perfectly balanced breakfast sandwich. I have also tried the oatmeal raisin cookie warmed up and the size is well worth the price. It has to be one of the best O.R. I have ever tasted due to the sweetness and texture. The last thing I tried was the M&M blondie. When warm, the soft dense dessert went great with the colorful chocolate bits baked in. On top of their superb bakery selection, the crew are always very friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. If visiting the UCF main campus I would highly recommend this spot at any time of the day. read more

I think the coffee is a bit overpriced (as I think that all of these "designer" coffee places that define their team as baristas are), but they are relatively in line with their competitors on price point. We were going on a trip that day and decided to grab this before hitting the road as the coffee was great the first time and the sandwich we had the ham and Swiss baguette I think it was..... Now it gets better... we came here last week on Sunday just to grab the sandwich and my husband is like you know what let's grab the coffee just one see if it's good this time and I don't remember the name of the person who took care of us but he placed our order we waited for about 10/15 mins longest we ever waited and two people before and one after us received their order. We just looked at each other and we're like ok what's going on go back up to the front and ask for a refund because at this point I didn't even want the coffee we were being stared at like if we were aliens and then the guy who took our order had the nerve to say he misplaced our receipt yeah ok sure! Passed this in our travels and I decided to try out, seeking a good cup of coffee. It was not busy when we arrived , it's got a cozy relaxed atmosphere . I ordered a cup of hot coffee with the half and half on the side . We also ordered a hot chocolate and two blueberry muffins. We had thought of a toasted bagel but sadly they do not have butter , only cream cheese. We chose our seats and waited for breakfast. It was called out in short order. They do have a "bar" area for putting in your sweetener, but no ability to put in your own creamer. The muffin was delicious, plenty of blueberries and not sweet. The cocoa was drinkable, not hot . Only disappointment about the coffee was that it was not as hot as I like. But had great flavor. We received our beverages in mugs since we dined in. A great find for coffee. read more

I have been to 5 different Foxtail Locations but this is by far my favorite. The shots are always consistent at this location, the staff is friendly, and they seem to have the most specialty drink flavor combinations on their seasonal menu. Not every location has this. I also think this is the location with the Butter Beer latte that tastes just like what you get at Universal + espresso. My favorite drink to get is a vanilla latte with lavender bitters. When I was attending UCF, I loved that this location had a drive thru so I could grab a coffee before class! It's also a great study place but it does get packed during exam time. read more

If you are a super diehard fan if starbucks, you'll welcome this place as it's less hectic, the atmosphere is more chill, and everyone's vibe is just get your coffee and relax. When you walk in, it feels like you've entered like an enchanted woodland. Replete with tables made from tree trunks, tastefully decorated with terrariums, magazines, and the occasional business card for a local vendor/company/event. The menu is super simple to understand and the prices fluctuate between 2.69, 3.69, 4.69, & 5.00 or 9.00. Sizes are 12oz and 16oz. They have some of the biggest and strongest teabags I've ever seen, and their breakfast sandwiches? TO DIE FOR! I spend under $9 for tea and a sandwich about 3 days per week, and they are always crowded but never busy. Weird right? It's because they are EFFICIENT AF. Go here! read more

Coffee is good, no oatmilk though, but other non-dairy milks are available. Snacks and sodas are available, water, coffee beans (no decaf at this location), mugs. Besides the size difference, this place does not roast on premises either. Another bonus: food trucks and lots of parking. Cool employees too, no complains on service. read more

The new store finally opened! It seems like they're still trying to get things in motion. A lot of people are training and will take some time to get your order. The store looks stocked and has all your bakery items and lunch options too. Plenty of seating considering its not that big. The latte I ordered for 16 oz was about 5 something and to me it is worth it on occasions. However, sometimes I know that people balk at the prices at coffee shops so you can determine what its worth to you. Also the latte I ordered, even though I like it really hot it came out pretty warm. I like to check it out in a little bit to see how they have improved. It's a pretty solid 3.5. read more

I love this coffee shop! The interior design, layout, and decorations, which delivers a cozy, casual, hip vibe, looks absolutely stunning! Foxtail is located on University drive, nearby UCF, which means that during lunch break or exam weeks (especially finals), the place will be super busy with students studying non-stop. Though that may be, one of the perks of this shop is that it consist a drive-thru! A lot of my friends recommended the Matcha latte but ehhh...that is not my favorite cup of tea! I am sure it taste good but since I dislike Matcha or any dessert/coffee/drink green tea related my opinion is kind of biased. On the contrary, I love the Cafe Con Leche, either latte or iced, and would usually request for more condensed milk to enhance its sweetness. Before class or after an exam, I would stop by to pick up some mini donuts in a cup (the donuts are fluffy and not as sweet). Foxtail has a lot more baked good options, too many to choose from if you ask me. Besides sandwiches, there are also salad if you wanted to eat something light. Most of the time, I would just go in and go out since I am always on the run. But next time, I will definitely spend some more time in there (maybe studying with classmates or chatting with friends) and actually will have the opportunity to experience Foxtail to its maximal potential. This was my first time at Foxtail and I enjoyed it. I went through the drive thru so I didn't get to see the atmosphere inside but I will be back to see it. I do wish the company offered some more sweet drinks like frappes and smoothies. I did not see that on their outside menu. I had an iced coffee and was happy to get a discount. read more
