It's not that easy to find as I didn't see a sign on the storefront except for a chalkboard outside. Perhaps they are getting a new sign? The place is very clean with neutral tones but smaller than I was expecting. There are a few small tables and then the large counter with all the goodies at the back. And there are a lot of goodies to choose from! Besides the cube shaped croissants, and one wheel croissant, there are also oblong croissants in many flavors like strawberry, pistachio, chocolate, hazelnut and more. There are also desserts in the cold case to the right and some savory items like garlic cream and hot dogs in croissant to the left. Since we were here during brunch time, I got a savory item - a garlic, cheese and ham bun - as well as a pistachio cube. My friend got the pepperoni pizza croissant. While there are lots of coffee drinks and milk teas/boba teas on the menu, I asked if they had hot tea. They said they do not, which I think is a miss. Maybe they will add that soon? We "discovered" this wonderful place and their amazing creations just a few weeks ago and since then, this part of our Saturday morning routine. I liked Sugar Dough's cruffins and liked that Chiffon Culture offered some as well. Because the latter is known for their unique shaped croissants, I ordered a croissant cube and a hazelnut cruffin to take with me. Pricing was similar to the former cafe's prices. The presentation for both items I purchased was great - very photogenic. The cube unfortunately gets a bit too dense when stuffed into a cube shape and loses the light, flaky texture that croissants are known for. I maybe finished half before calling it quits. The cruffin was perfect as it retained the flaky texture of a traditional croissant and the hazelnut flavor was delicious and balanced. (Not too sweet and it tasted like actual hazelnuts.) So I came here during their opening. This place is in the old sugar dough Bakehouse location. Not much decor change was done but the pastries are most certainly different. This place was really good with really large pastries. Think like one for two people large. I came with my parents who between us shared four pastries: ube croissant, a strawberry croissant roll, a chocolate croissant cube, and a cheese bread. We successfully ate bites from all of them! Seriously they are HUGE! The croissant roll was cool. I've been waiting to try one so bad just like the cube. The whipped cream inside was strawberry flavored and not too sweet. It was light and area just like the croissant but this thing is way too big for one person unless they are insanely hungry for a croissant in specific just like everything else we ate. The chocolate croissant cube was nice but the filling instead this was a liquid-y whipped cream that just poured out from the first bite. It's also not too sweet but it was far too heavy for me and a few bites was more than enough. The cheese bread was a bust. It was filled with a cheese sauce that looked neon orange almost like spray cheese and just the flavor was not anyone's favorite in my group. Now to the STAR of this show: the ube croissant! It's delicious and yummy and just wow I cannot believe how good this was. I love ube though so I am very much biased but this was definitely my favorite flavor. The owners and my dad had a nice chat about the place and their start with their bakery. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was they steeped this tea for too long it was like drinking black coffee even though this was a London fog. Not the end of the world just not our favorite thing either. So would i recommend the aesthetically pleasing and photogenic cafe with delicious desserts? Absolutely! One of my favorite places to visit is a bakery. On my visit to Chiffon Culture, which has been on my list for a while, I enjoyed something sweet and savory. The much raved about Cube Croissant was very good. There was plenty of strawberry Cheesecake in the middle. My other item was the bacon and potato croissant. It was a little on the greasy side for my taste. My daughter enjoyed the Strawberry and Mascarpone Cheese croissant. The service was excellent and the bakery was clean. Chiffon Culture is a cute place to get a sweet treat. I came in on Saturday afternoon, not too crowded. I wasn't sure how much of each item would be left, considering I came later in the afternoon, but to my surprise each display case was completely filled. There was also another employee who I talked to before I left who was telling us more about the store, the variety of items and their second location. Overall customer service was great. I ordered as follows: Basque cheesecake: cooked perfectly, good size, but I wish it was just a tad sweeter Cookie croissant: you can tell just by looking at the croissant that they laminate in house and it shows with the flavor of it. I would say I'd like it more flaky, but I honestly had no complaints about the croissant dough besides that. It was filled with a small amount of Nutella and topped with chocolate chip cookie dough. I liked that none of the flavors were overwhelming and you could taste each part individually. Strawberry cheesecake cube croissant: this was exactly as expected. Not my favorite only because when baking croissant dough in a formed container compared to how its baked traditionally, it can hold the dough back a bit making the texture of the dough more dense, but it's trendy and I still wanted to try it! The strawberry cheesecake flavor was very sweet. Chocolate rolled cake: tastes just as it looked! Not too unique in flavor but it's a simple item done right. The only thing I'd say is that it was a little dry. Mango mousse cake: this was my favorite item that we purchased. Two layers of soft chiffon cake and two layers of mango mousse. It's covered in a mango gelee and topped with whipped cream and fruit. The sweet mango flavor reminded me of the soft Manila mangos you'd get at the Asian market. The flavors complimented each other perfectly. The only thing I'd change would be to add a crunch element in there, because it was all very soft. Overall I love this place. This past weekend we stopped in to the new Chiffon Culture Bakery in Audubon Park. This is their second location after the original in Winter Springs. This Asian bakery specializes in pastries, cakes, donuts, boba and more. They are most known for their viral croissant cubes and wheels that you've probably seen all over IG. We visited on a whim in the late afternoon, so many items were already sold out. I definitely recommend going early to get the good stuff and have a larger selection to choose from. Luckily, they still had a few of their garlic cream cheese buns (also known as Korean garlic bread) so we snagged a couple of those. They heated them up for us, too, and they were very light & fluffy. We also ordered a couple beverages. They were out of many ingredients to make the drinks we initially tried to order, so we ended up getting a mango slush with popping mango boba and a taro milk tea. I enjoyed my mango slush -- it was fruity and refreshing. My husband said his taro milk was chunky and tasted like they used a powder that didn't completely dissolve. He didn't end up really drinking his. I believe they're still in their soft opening, so I'm sure they are still working out some of the kinks. The staff is very friendly and the space was already turnkey from when Sugar Dough Bakehouse was there, so it still looks great. Upon hearing the news that another Chiffon Bakery was opening nearby I was extremely thrilled to visit this location. My friends and I had decided to visit during the soft opening and as soon as we entered through the door we were just amazed with the wide selection of the pastries and desserts. All the pastries looked appetizing that we were all having a difficult time on choosing which pastries to select. One of my friends who happened to have visited the other location multiple times claimed that the chocolate covered square crossaint made with chocolate filling is remarkably good and had convince me to give it a try. Upon ordering we decided to dine-in and was a little appalled to been served with a small paper plates. In addition, we also did not like the filling nor the texture of the bread. The filling was literally just a chocolate pudding comparable to something you would get from a chinese buffet. In which my friend said that the filling was not identical to their other location.
