Kori is a modern Japanese cafe in Mills 50 district, with a sleek aesthetic that makes it a great spot to hang out. I tried the mochi ice cream with red bean strawberry ice cream as part of their Sip & Savior offering, and it did not disappoint. The mochi itself was soft, chewy, and made fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by the red bean strawberry flavor combo and looking forward to getting it again!

4.5 Stars KORI checks all the boxes! Delicious treats, a cute interior, and easy parking. Everyone we've taken here has enjoyed it. We love the mochi ice cream and the strawberry red bean is one of my favorite flavors. Their mochi cube bread is a signature dish, so it's worth a try. Service is always good and nice. The speed depends on how busy they are, but we've never waited too long for our food and drinks. If you're looking for a cute dessert spot, you can't go wrong with Kori!

They have very creative dessert dishes here from shave ice, mochi bakery to milk tea. I love their matcha bingsu and strawberry mochi cake. They have seating for large group and very clean bathroom. Highly recommend to stop by this dessert place if you in town

Love love love the mochi cubes. My favorite is taro ube followed by matcha. These should be eaten fresh or within 2 days otherwise they'd dry out. Inside the bread is mochi with flavored filling. I've not seen this elsewhere. The mochi bowl is also another first for me. Surprisingly the combo of soft gooey mochi and the sweet and savory sauce with the nori paper makes a perfect balance. In the morning, there's only 1 person working the counter and making all the drinks - so wait for your orders. The place itself is very nicely decorated. Very relaxing.

What a cute place!! It was getting packed right before closing and I can totally see why! This place is very cutesy and has so many great looking deserts! The staff were super friendly and kind. The signature coconut snow bowl we got was soo good! It's very sweet though and can be a little too sweet but still good. It's a very refreshing desert. Reminds me of Malaysian dessert called ABC. It was not as good as that but an Americanized version maybe. It was good though and I'd definitely recommend trying. I'll be back to try more stuff.

I've been wanting to try Kori for a long time. I finally went today and really enjoyed it! I'll definitely be back to try some other things. Today I got the Dark Brown Thai Milk Tea ("New Way" with dark brown sugar cold foam and a Biscoff cookie) and the Chocolate Strawberry Mochi Cube. I actually wanted the Biscoff Butter Mochi Cube, but it was out of stock. I enjoyed the drink, but I think the dark brown sugar cold foam was more of a fun novelty and not something I would probably order again. I do wish they had taro flavored milk teas, which is my favorite flavor but seems to have been recently removed from the menu! The mochi cube was delicious, though difficult to eat. They provide a disposable spork, which works well for shaved ice but had a hard time slicing through the warmed mochi cube. Undeterred, I picked up the cube with the paper and ate it that way--not sure if this is the correct move but I was determined. It was very tasty, but probably could have been shared!! I'm excited to try some of the other items, like the cookies and coffee. This is such a unique spot and I love having it in my neighborhood!

This is such a cute and unique dessert spot. Lots of drink and mochi items as well as savory snacks. Inside is refreshing and bright. If you are in the area please stop by. Their mochi desserts and panna cotta were delicious!

My wife had a craving for dessert so I looked up top-rated desserts in town and we stumbled upon Kori and I'm so glad we did! The line is long but it moves rather quickly. Staff is friendly and they have a wide variety in flavors. We got one of the popular flavors - mango coconut. It wasn't too sweet and perfectly packed with flavor. We're looking forward to returning to try other things from their menu, but it's going to be a challenge to pass up this exact menu item.

The mango was delicious. Enough to share between 2 people.

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened and was so happy when I finally got to go. The staff were super nice and patient with me. They explained a few of the pastries to me. I ordered the taro ube cube and it was amazziinngggg the spot is on mills and is bigger than expected. Super cute and chic on the inside. Will definitely be back!!!!!

We've had our fair share of tasty sweets in Orlando, but I was not prepared for how absolutely delicious these two items are! The warmed bread and the I've cookie were exquisite, just dessert perfection. The cashier assured us that we didn't have to worry about the allergens on our list, and recommended warming the bread - SO GOOD! The whole shop is gorgeously laid out, cozy, and somewhere I could see spending more time indulging in their variety of items. The prices are suitable and I easily could have ordered a third item. Delicious, well priced, and totally cute inside. Will be back soon!

Kori Dessert Place is an absolute vibe. If you're bored of the same old dessert spots, this Japanese-inspired gem in Orlando is a breath of fresh air with a menu that's creative, playful, and genuinely unique. We tried several items, and while the Biscoff mochi didn't quite win us over (not bad, just not memorable), everything else really delivered. The panna cotta was silky, light, and beautifully balanced. The mango cheesecake? Delicious--sweet, fruity, and very easy to love. But let's be clear: the shaved ice completely stole the show. This is hands-down the reason to come here. The texture, the flavors, the presentation--everything felt special and different from your usual shaved ice or snow cone. My son was obsessed, and the fact that it comes in two sizes is a smart touch that makes it even more family-friendly. I also ordered the rose latte, and it was a pleasant surprise--floral, fragrant, and refreshingly different from standard café drinks. Definitely worth trying if you want something a little adventurous. Parking was admittedly tricky, but the place was packed on a Sunday afternoon, which honestly says it all. People know this spot, and they show up. Overall, Kori Dessert Place is fun, inventive, and memorable. If you're into unique desserts and bold flavors, this place is a must-visit. I'll absolutely be back for that shaved ice (and probably another rose latte). Highly recommend

The open kitchen lets customers watch the boba being simmered in a wok, and we got to see the staff torch the brown sugar topping before serving. We ordered through the self-serve kiosk with no wait. The shop was modern, clean, and the drinks looked promising. Since it's located in a strip plaza, expect plenty of foot traffic and moderate noise during busier times. Our total came to about $18 after adding boba and upgrading both drinks to a large. We tried the Signature Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea and the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Dalgona Coffee Foam. The fresh boba had a great chewy texture, but both drinks were much too milky for my taste. The Signature Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea lacked a noticeable brown sugar flavor. The Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Dalgona Coffee Foam was slightly more flavorful after mixing, but I was still disappointed by how mild the coffee tasted. The menu describes it as having "a perfect balance of sweetness and robust coffee flavor," but I was expecting a much bolder coffee profile that wasn't overpowered by the milk.

While the interior is more modern than the bakeries I grew up visiting in Flushing, New York, the food itself reminded me of home. I picked up a hot dog bun and a custard egg tart from the bakery, then ordered the Hong Kong sticky rice and lychee mango fruit tea with boba (50% sugar, 50% ice). These are some of my favorite comfort foods, and while the prices were a bit higher than what I'm used to back home, I was pleasantly surprised by every item I tried. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The hot dog bun was soft, and the egg tart had a flaky crust with smooth custard. The sticky rice, wrapped in a lotus leaf, was warm, comforting, and had the subtle savory flavor I love. The fruit tea was refreshing, with real pieces of lychee and mango mixed in. There was plenty of seating for my friend and me to sit, relax, and enjoy our treats. If you're looking for authentic Asian bakery favorites in Orlando, Bakery 1908 is worth checking out. It's the perfect spot for brunch, whether you're craving something sweet or savory or just want a refreshing drink. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm missing the flavors of home.

This time we stayed on I-Drive and found that they have a new location closer by in Lake Buena Vista, which we love even more than the first one. It's newer and way more spacious with a higher ceiling. The mural, the seatings and the greenery all help to create a very cozy and relaxed environment. It's busier too and harder to find a parking spot though. Their breads are so delicious, with so many varieties we always have a hard time deciding what to get, since we want them all! The swiss roll right by the entrance are delicious too! They also have cookies, and their crepe cakes are closest to Lady M than any other I've tried. You can tell that the crepe is really thin with rich layers of cream in between. It's an Asian bakery so the sweetness level is not as intense, and the bread dough is on the soft and pillowy side. Oh did I mention they also offer dimsum and a bunch of other things too. Yes, you can eat your breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea here. And probably still want more.

The drinks were okay overall and refreshing, but coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, where there are so many strong boba options, I found the quality a bit underwhelming. The flavors were decent, but neither drink stood out as particularly memorable. The taro lacked some of the richness and depth I usually look for, and the mango drink felt a little too sweet for my taste. The boba itself was acceptable, though the texture wasn't as chewy and fresh as what I'm used to at many Bay Area boba shops. Service was friendly, and the drinks were prepared quickly. The vibe is casual and welcoming, making it a convenient stop if you're in the area and craving a sweet drink.
