The ladies were very helpful and showed so much grace during a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, when I entered the dress number, it pulled up a dress similar to the one I bought, which led me to believe I had purchased a two-year-old dress. They took the time to investigate the situation, spent hours researching, and that's when I discovered the dress was actually different -- even though another website had not updated it to the 2026 version. They were wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They truly made my daughter feel like a queen. The most unprofessional experience I have ever had was with the assistant store manager at Foxy Lady. Her name is Denise, and she not only handled our visit with the worst customer service I have ever experienced but also the type of person that leaves a review for the very company she manages-- (Denise S) further proving her lack of professionalism. I find it disappointing that instead of addressing customer concerns, you're asking people to disregard any negative experiences. We drove three hours to Foxy Lady for my daughter's first prom dress shopping experience, excited but unaware that appointments were preferred. Upon arrival, we were told they could accommodate us despite not having an appointment, which we appreciated. However, about 30 minutes into our visit, while my daughter and the stylist were actively selecting dresses, she was abruptly removed from her dressing room by the asst store manager Denise. The stylist put her back into her dressing room so she could try on her final two dresses that the stylist had just retrieved, but in the middle of changing--while she was in her undergarments--the assistant store manager Denise barged in unannounced and loudly declared that my daughter didn't have an appointment and that they could not accommodate us after all. Every customer in the vicinity stood there and watched her humiliate us. As my daughter stood there embarrassed and in tears, other moms looked at us with sympathy, clearly mortified at how we were being treated. The entire experience was degrading and left my daughter in tears. We left without a dress, feeling unwelcome If appointments are truly required, that should have been made clear from the start, rather than allowing her to begin trying on dresses only to be treated in such a demeaning way halfway through. What should have been a special and exciting milestone was ruined by a shocking lack of professionalism. They didn't have one of the pieces we wanted in my daughters size, so she ordered it, shipped it to us, and followed up to make sure it worked. My daughter and I had high hopes for this place. You have to make an appt to even get in the store, because of the whole covid thing. So we made an appt, and the lady that initially talked to us, once we got in the store gave us the run down of where things were & told us to bring whatever we found to the front, which we did. They put the three dresses we found in a dressing room & never checked back with us again. They were standing around chit chatting with some ppl that were there, but never asked if we needed another size, etc. I'm just not used to not being paid attention to in a store like that, especially after we had to make the appointment & drove All that way, and there was only a handful of customers in there to begin with. They didn't have a wide variety of sizes either. Finally I spoke up & said something about not getting any help, and then we find out they have a whole other bridal room with sales stuff, but we weren't invited back to see anything. Maybe you need an appointment but I came in to look for a dress to wear to my husbands military ball next weekend. Literally not one person even acknowledged that I was there. I searched for about 10-15 minutes and was able to look they most of their dresses and decided it wasn't worth the hassle to try and get someone to get me a room. ZERO STARS! I walked into this store at around 3:30 on Saturday looking for a sticky bra for an even I was attending in Myrtle. Upon walking into the store I was like, "wow, I'm definitely going to come back here when I have time and show because it's a super cute boutique as well as formal wear." When I walked to the front of the store, no one greeted me and I stood in front of the register for a solid 5 minutes watching employees walk by and stare at me. Finally, someone says, "have you been helped?" In which in replied no and told them what I was looking for. Immediately the owner who was standing there legit barked at me saying, "we don't carry that." I was flabbergasted that formal dress store that claims to sell dresses to "Miss. America" contestants don't have sticky bras or tapes... the reason I won't be back isn't because they didn't have the product I was looking for, it's because the customer service lacks and the employees are so rude. My mother went here to find a MOB dress. She was treated very rudely and left extremely upset and embarrassed. I came here with my mom to look for a dress for a black tie wedding we are going to in the Fall. She's been here once before and had a bad experience, but wanted to give them a second chance since it was almost 2 years ago. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience. For starters they keep their door locked and claim it's because of staffing shortages, but they seemed pretty staffed up in my opinion. The lack of attention from every clerk we came into contact with was a 0/10. The girl at the door barely acknowledge us when we walked in and acted like we were an inconvenience. The first lady at the dressing room almost ran into me when I walked up and acted like I was invisible. The second lady was so distraught when I asked for a fitting room. I purchased a prom dress here in 2012 and decided to come back to look for a wedding dress. I was sorely disappointed by the way I was treated. I didn't know I needed an appointment (wedding dresses are in a separate room now, in the old store they were accessible), so I told the employee i had no problem scheduling an appointment and coming back. We were uncomfortable and sort of mistreated cause we told her we had a budget. Great selection of dresses for prom which is why I went in there. Decided on a princess style aqua dress that was quite pricey. For this price I expect the dress to be in pristine condition however it was not. Crystals that were suppose to be sewn on the dress were either missing or falling off which I did not notice at the store. There also is a stain at the bottom of the dress which was also not seen till we left the shop. Not impressed especially considering the dress was $500. read more

I'm constantly looking for unique boutiques while out of town that carry one of kind dresses. This store has the most superb variety of dresses than anywhere I've been to yet in the country. Pageant, prom, debutant dresses, summer wear, work related, fun retro dresses. And every one of them were stunning. The quality, the vastly different styles, and colors. I just was in awe being in this store. I could spend days checking everything out. I settled on two 40's style dresses by Stop Starring that I just adored. And the prices were very reasonable. But I easily could have found five or six more dresses. Each more dazzling than the last. And the service was amazing! Carol was such a sweetheart and patiently let me explore all my options. I was like a kid in the candy store, and she was there to help me along the way by setting up varies dresses in the fitting room. Then helping me find more! I just had the best time here. Very upset to see that I can here on a big recommendation from friends and found a dress that I absolutely loved the Asst manager was helping me and gave me a written quote and then about an hour after I left the store someone called and and stated that the price was wrong they had given me 5% to much off and would not hold to their price went back to still get the dress and they would not hold to the original price because of Not being able to get ahold of the manager I thought they were very unprofessional and wanted me come back for. I was so disappointed in this store. I used to shop here in high school (about 10 years ago) where I purchased multiple evening gowns and casual clothes. The customer service was incredible. I went in recently and found the workers to be the most stuck up people I had ever encountered. I have no idea why they thought they were so special when they worked in retail, but they took one look at me in blue jeans and would not even answer my questions other than to say, "probably or I don't know."
