My dogs never got to experience their service. So this review is focused on the booking of appointment experience. I was communicating with Jessica on August 3rd to book an appointment for September 6th, only to find out today (September 1st) that she never booked my appointment. I'm not sure what happened, but you be the judge based on the text messages / screen shots. Clearly, it was a communication issue that i hope they can address for their future customers. After waiting for roughly a month, i've really waited for nothing. I mean, I could have just brought my dogs to somewhere else during that time. Edit: Yes, you showed me a screenshot of not getting my reply about my dog being able to stand on his hind legs, and my other dog being healthy enough to have a haircut despite her age. That said, you totally ignored the fact that prior to your questions or clarifications, i already confirmed the appointment (refer to 2nd screenshot) - "Got it. See you next month. Thanks!" Assuming you never really got my last response, you never bothered to follow up or text after the no response, nor offer to reschedule? Those things. We helped with the nail trim because I was SURE that Chief wouldn't let her touch his paws. He was kind of nervous at first but eventually let her do whatever she wanted. Diana did a great job! We had a wonderful experience today Sunday 6/13. We received a text that our groomer would arrive in 10 minutes. The young lady was sweet, attentive and kind to our pups. One of our pups usually acts awkward around new people however she acted completely normal and walked right into the truck with the young lady- she really liked her. She was happy and her normal self even after the session. The groomer used sensitive shampoo on her (just to be safe-which is a big perk they offer) as her skin tends to be a little delicate. Our other pup got the cutest cut from head to tail and came out with 2 adorable red sparkly bows. Our pups truly enjoyed their grooming session. I had been a customer of Foxy Like Roxy for over a year. I received a phone call from my groomer saying it was her last day with the company and that when I hear from the number, it wouldn't be her contacting me. I messaged the business phone number to inquire about my already scheduled appointment, I received a very rude text back a few days later stating that there was no one able to cover the appointments. As we all know, it can take weeks to get into a new groomer, so I asked if she had any available cancellations or anyway to fit me in the schedule. Her (the owner I am assuming) reply stated "Diana quit without any notice and said she let her clients know, which I'm finding out was not true, so we're both inconvenienced. We are filled to capacity with our clients". Pretty sure I'm the only one inconvenienced in this situation, and a genuine apology, as well as some accommodations or referrals would have been appreciated. Terrible business model and ethics in my humble opinion.. and a horrible way to communicate with clients. April, serving south San Jose, is absolute purrfection. I have a special needs cat (she's blind and has advanced renal failure), and every time Fiona needed a grooming, she showed very few signs of stress afterward. Well, although I was happy with past service today, I was charged 110 dollars instead of the usual 70. I was told that it was because of my dog's behavior, a retriever/shepherd (he whines and talks), and his coat was bad, but I've tried to get him groomed for four months yet she couldn't come out.
