All I had previously experienced was what was in the mall, so this was actually putting an adult child in a candy store. I was greeted by the owner, he explained to me about the perfumes they carry and how he and his brother started their interest. After smelling a few, I made my decision of Bodacious by Boadicea the Victorious and Impadia by BDK. I was thrilled and happily went home. Fast forward to March 7,2026 my second visit. I live 1hour 45 minutes away, so I leave early to avoid any traffic. I got there as soon as they opened, and again get a warm welcoming greeting. I brought my daughter with me and we tried several perfumes until I decided on Mind Games Check Please. As we were chatting, I was asked if I was enjoying the other two fragrances I had purchased and remembered which ones I had purchased! Needless to say that impressed me even more. Myself being in Customer Service for over 30 years you don't always remember each customer that you encounter. The fact that I was remembered, shows me how much they love what they do and appreciate their customers. This experience right here is what made me a loyal repeat customer. Thank you for an exceptional experience!

The thought is nice so I shouldn't be such an Ahole. Anywho she planted the bug in my wife's ear & my wife asked me a few weeks ago to keep the day open to come here with her. That being said here we is and I can honestly say it's not worth the time or effort to come out here to Schaumburg from Chicago. (Or anyplace else for that matter). All it is is a giant flea market where the merchandise is substandard quality therefore the substandard prices. If you pay at the door there is a $10 admission/person, but since we preregistered it was $5. It still not worth the admission and it doesn't make it any less painless. After cruisin around and looking at the endless aisles of garbage (ooops did I say that out loud) I camped out in the back and am writing my glowing flattering review of this exciting event. Uhhh do I detect a hint of sarcasm). I could be doing any of number of things more exiting like watching the Bears get slaughtered, raking leaves, sleeping or watching my toe nails grow. All I can say is Yee F--kin ha!!! If you're absolutely bored out of your freakin skull don't come here because this is far worse. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because I can't rate it any lower.

Unless you're taking a bus, taxi or Ubering, you'll pay to park in Rosemont. I also recommend visiting during the week when crowds aren't so hectic, or visit on Sunday when vendors are discounting their merchandise. The junkier the stuff, the deeper the discount. 4/5 because I strongly dislike the aggressive salespeople who are working at some of the booths. I especially dislike the ones who want to straighten my hair and try to sell me a $300 flat iron. That's the price you pay when you have long hair, I guess.

Not as often as before but sometimes I find myself on a roof doing an inspection or meeting with a contractor, these is when you don't wear any type of scent. Once I ended up swatting at several bees and almost took a four story misstep because I was trying to avoid being stung. At least they could say, "hey at least she smelled good." I remember this because firstly I did get stung, twice, and I was looking to buy that very perfume. I couldn't believe they had Opium which is just as old but not what I was looking for. I guess it wasn't popular because the very helpful salesperson gave me a what, what look when I asked for it. She was the only staff in the store, which surprised me for a Saturday, I hope other help was out to lunch or on break. She did see that when I walked in I was scanning for precisely something and she interrupted her sale to ask if there was something specific, I appreciate her sensing that and not wasting my time.

L'Occitane is a French luxury retailer of bath and body products. I made my first visit in 2016 at…read moretheir Old Orchard location. At the time, Fall was approaching and I grew tired of dealing with my dry skin that suffered harsh Midwest winters. For years, I struggled to find a thick moisturizing hand cream and tried several brands. Sadly, nothing seemed to work. So I figured I would try L'Occitane in the hopes this visit would be my end all solution to a longstanding problem. I visited mid-afternoon on a weekend and the store was empty. Within seconds, a sales lady (whose name I failed to remember) asked if I needed help with anything. I explained to her I needed a resolution to my dry skin and winter itch issues. She then introduced me to two of their most popular lines. For hand cream, she selected the Shea butter hand cream. I loved the light subtle scent and the thick cream left my hands soft and supple with no oily residue. I use this hand cream sparingly and it last through the entire winter season. I couldn't ask for anything better. For winter itch, she recommended the Amande line of bath and body care. The shower and skin oils pack a 1-2 punch when dealing with dry skin due to harsh winter elements. The Almond oil applies on light and has a delicate fragrance which I absolutely love. I've used both these products for over a year and am happy to report no regrets with any past purchases. Their products are pricey but if you sign up via their website, or in store, they tend to run a lot of promos throughout the year with 20% discounts on a lot of their bestselling items (including those I just mentioned) to your eMail address. This location, at the Fashion Outlets mall, has been my recent go to. The drive is out of the way but since this location is considered an outlet store, they tend to have more things on sale and wherever the sales are, Nina follows. Another neat thing is if you spend a certain dollar amount, you can get a free gift from the store. My last visit I spent over $80, and I got a free gift set of Amande body products (worth $25) which was neat. See my pictures below. Even if you don't spend that much, oftentimes, they give free samples of stuff with every purchase. It's an ideal place to shop if you're looking for quality bath and body care or if you need to find a nice gift for family and friends.

Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.
