Stopped in Tory Burch Outlet ahead of Black Friday to see if they had anything appealing in store. I was pleased to see that they were already running some Holiday Deal (50% off with an addition 10-20% off!). I enjoy the TB Outlet as it's one of the few brands that don't make separate inventory at a lower quality level to sell. One can expect the same level of craftsmanship as regular stores here. When entering the store, I was greeted by Joan. She went above and beyond during my shopping experience to make recommendations, hold product for me, and answer all of my questions. I decided to stop back at the end of my visit and ended up purchasing a handbag & perfume set. Joan remembered me and my name immediately. If my purchases go on sale further for black friday, she let me know they can make an easy price adjustment with my receipt in store. The customer service level she gave me was a breath of fresh air. Buyer beware!!! My wife had purchase a couple items from Tory Burch and decided to make a return on one particular item within a thirty day period. Upon making the return she was told that Tory Burch had a max two week return policy and that her return was two days too late. After pleading her case and explaining she was totally unaware of the two week return policy. The cashier explained that the return policy is clearly written on the back side of the receipt being that no where within the store does it post a two week returns only. After pleading her return case in depth. The store did except her return. Moral of the story is ask your store associates about the return policy be for purchasing. Because most people have very busy personal and work schedules that can not accommodate un- posted return policies. Thank you Tory Birch for giving my wife the pass. read more

The sales people need to calm down. Holy moly. I couldn't shop in peace. They have to work on commission cause there's no way these sales people would be so clingy otherwise. I witnessed it with other shoppers as well as myself. A sales lady was glued to my hip while I was looking at bags. Literally an inch away from me. "Oh, the price for that bag is this", "I can show you other bags that are similar", "this bag is perfect for XYZ". I don't need commentary while I shop. I hinted multiple times that I'm just browsing. I actually really liked one bag but couldn't bear to give that store money after the experience. read more

Hands-down the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. I show up with over 20 minutes before they were even supposed to close and the door is locked and there's a line of customers just staring and one was almost crying and I'm like what happened? She drove an hour to return something and the guy wouldn't let her in. I pounded on the door until he opened for her! And then he still asked if it was within the 14 day policy. Rude. And he didn't let any other people in but he was fully staffed. Should be fired!!! read more

You deserve zero star for your zero customer service. After waiting in line for 35 mins just to get inside the store, I picked out 8 bags for gifts to my co workers. Through out the store, I'm lugging these bags and being a pest to other patrons bumping in to them. I asked the sales person for help and I was informed that they can't set it aside for me since they do not have space. Fine. I ended my shopping super early because the big bags were a nuisance to carry around. Upon checking out, I was told they don't have gift boxes. No problem. I asked for each bag to be put in separate TB bags, they refused. I'm spending $350 on each bag, the least you can do is bag it up! SMH. I've had enough of their "NO" attitude. I want to buy my girlfriend new sandals. I know the size of her shoes so It's easy to choose. I asked some staff to recommend some sandals. And they suggested some. One pair that he suggested is pretty. So I chose to purchase it and went to the counter. There is one customer ahead of me so I wait a minute before it's my turn. I realized that many reviews were coming from a "customer's" perspective. Let me provide this one with a "retail salesperson's" perspective. Trust me, if Red Lobster can "seafood" differently, I can make a great "sale" on offering as much information as I can with my years of luxury-retail selling and retail management. Although I work at another store on the same floor, rarely do I get out of my store and look around rest of the mall. I decided to head out to Tory Burch this afternoon, without a rhyme or reason. The store was busy on the Saturday before Easter. For some reason I felt the traffic was comparable to the world-famous Black Friday, except there were more serious shoppers, who finally showed up at the mall today. I don't know about your yelpers' shopping behaviors, but one of many luxury-retailer common goals is to convert a "looker" into a "buyer." The term is called "conversion." Almost all stores on the second floor of the Fashion Outlets of Chicago have the "conversion counter" to calculate the number of people coming in, versus the number of people who actually have made a purchase. With that being said, I don't attempt to mess around with a store's conversion by coming in and out without a defined purpose or an intention to purchase. I went into Tory Burch this afternoon, but there wasn't much to tickle my fancy. I bet some associates were realizing that I wasn't going to make a big sale with anyone of them, so they started with some typical customer-service techniques: "are you doing ok so far? Let me know if you have any question." For me, those phrases are so generic and lacking sincerity. In the end, I purchased a pair of earrings that I knew I would be able to make a good use with my tortoise ring from Michael Kors that I wear constantly on my days off. I knew that was a small amount of sale ($39), but I should be just as important as some other customers who purchase $500 and plus. I felt ignored somehow. I know many people who work in retail aren't "committed" to what they do. In other words, their current "jobs" consider transient and temporary. I don't disagree with them. However, I value personal interactions and first impressions in a high-end selling environment. I may be fond of Tory Burch products, yet no one truly engaged with me while I was shopping. Working in retail is all about diligence, consistency, and dedications. Unfortunately, I see lots of profiling, selectivity, impatience, and short-cuts. Anyways, I might have shared too much with my retail insights and digressed just a little bit. Retail, overall, is a tricky business. Tory Burch may be a prestigious brand, but who will be willing to drop $500 on a handbag or a pair of boots if I'm not acknowledged as someone who can potentially do business with? read more

This was my very first experience at a Tory outlet. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was thrilled to see the entire store was 40 percent off. Having more hand bags than I know what to do with, I went right to the jewelry. The jewelry area was a bit crowded and a lot of women were all trying to get their hands on a few pieces of jewelry. I ultimately decided on two bracelets and then moved onto the shoes. While staff generally watched the area, they weren't overly pushy and let everyone browse without getting in the way. The staff in the shoe department was great, Bu or Bo helped me and she was a doll. She brought out about 10 different pairs of shoes for me to try on all while helping others at the same time. She was friendly and polite the entire time despite the stress I'm sure she was under. I picked out four top pairs of flats with the plan to ship two home since I only had one small carryon bag with me. But wait, they don't ship to your house, even for a cost! HUGE letdown. I would have spent double and been willing to pay shipping, but I was stuck only purchasing two pairs. Tory, reconsider your home shipping policy, I beg of you. My girlfriend loves shopping. We enter this place and she's so excited to look for something to buy. He enjoyed looking at the sandals area. While I look at the place. There were few people entering and exiting the store. There were staff assisting the customers. And I look at my girlfriend and there is one staff member assisting her. There is one bag that grabs my attention. It looks cute and pretty. I'm sure my girlfriend will love this. When I look at the price it was too expensive. I Did expect it to be more pricey. Well I don't care the price unless my girl would love this. I called my girl and she was so surprised when I gave it to her. She thanked me and kissed me. What a wonderful day. I would give this location 0 stars if possible! I keep telling myself not to shop here again after multiple times of being ignored & spoken to rudely. The staff that works here is completely rude, I would say that 80% of it is like that. I was returning an item and there was only one person at the register helping someone, and there were 10 employees in the store, not helping customers, but grouped together and laughing and chatting amongst theselves. I kept looking at them in hope that they would see I'm in line waiting to be helped. I was in that line for 15 minutes, before I was helped, and there was no one else in line. The person who helped me never apologized or anything and he acted like he owned the store. Then yesterday, I was looking at a pair of sandals, I asked the lady for my size, and I waited like 10 minutes, she got busy with another customer, I looked for my shoe, she had put it back, then I asked her if she looked for my size, and she told me that she did and they don't have my size and that she told me about it. I was livid! She never said anything to me! I told her about it and she started arguing with me that she did tell me, I said, maybe you told someone else but definitely not me. I am still livid. I've come here twice and had two different experiences. Both times the store was clean, well laid out, and had a ton of merchandise organized by colors. A lot of colors. Not everything is from this season, so don't be like the one chick in the store who was bitching they didn't have a pair of boots she specifically came for. Sure, because they're gonna give you 40% off a pair of $500 boots just for driving here when their Oak street store is what, maybe fifteen miles away? Besides the random idiot, the only other issue is if you stop by on the weekend, you'll probably be stuck waiting in line outside the store to get in. For some reason this place is tiny. I have spent a ton on these products to be treated horribly by the outlet employees! They sent me to the 'pop up' location after they refused to find a pair of shoes for me. Then the pop up Had a hard time locating but I was told did! Come to find they didn't find them nor send my order over. While the Gucci store was dead, Tory Burch was the opposite. I had room to browse, but there were a lot of label whore tourists panting and drooling over the discounted handbags and shoes. All of the wallets, sunglasses, and accessories are priced in what I'd call an "accessible" manner. It's an outlet store that designer lovers will adore, and the big players will drop big bucks. I saw two women in front of me pay for their purchases in several $100 bills, and a group of three were decked out head-to-toe in TB logos. Eeeeek, do I really want to be here? I fell in love with a pair of heart-shaped silver studs but winced at the price tag - $68! Then I saw a sign that all earrings were $39. Yes! Mine! There are a lot of salespeople around to help. Three of them were gathered near the accessories, and one was kind enough to let me try on the earrings to help decide whether I wanted the silver or goldtone. They are definitely not pushy here. Ah, the spirit of outlets! Don't expect the current season's items to be in stock. Um, duh. THAT stuff is being sold in the real store. I don't even know where to start with the store at all it shouldn't even be open number one number two every review is correct the customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I supposedly have been dealing with a manager name Angela to handle a situation that's been going on for about a week. I went in there to return a pair of shoes my daughter had purchased for me for as a gift. The reason I returned the shoes is that they did not fit properly. I did continue to try some different pairs on in the store but they did not fit. So I decided to look at necklaces mind you never not once did I look at a bracelet, never asked for one. I was looking at it 1 specific necklace in two different colors the black and white. After spending almost an hour there that was on necessary I get home to a necklace and a bracelet that I never looked at never asked to see and it was in the bag. So I just called to ask for a manager named supposedly Angela and this girl proceeds to tell me they don't have a manager named that only a male! She was cutting me off kept asking me how can I help you and I was trying to tell her the situation and she kept repeating that how can I help you over and over again being part of my language a complete bitch. I'm pretty sure her name was Ivana Ivanka something to that effect. This would be a Monday at 1:57 on November 8. And the reason I'm saying those dates is because when I called back the next day to tell them that I had received the necklace and bracelet I completely describe the woman that helped me the exact time I went in the store mind you there was only two women working.. I read the name on the receipt and they told me she wasn't working that night. So I don't know what to tell you about the store I would absolutely not shop there the shoes are really not that great I really prefer my Clarks $30 sandals that are very sharp looking instead of their rip off shoes! I have been to this outlet mall a few times and there is usually a long line to get into the store so I was ecstatic when I was there last Sunday and it was dead. I walked in passed two associates who didn't even acknowledge me. When your store has barely 15 people in it there is no reason why customer service should lack. I headed to the back to look at the shoes and there I was greeted by a very friendly sales associate. She really took the time to acquaint me with the sale that was going on (25% off your order of 300 or more) and even got me the last nylon tote from the back. I'm very grateful for that associate because without her I would not have my fab bag! I wish I knew her name so I could give her the proper props. Some of the employees were super friendly where others really did not want to be bothered. I went on a Sunday, and there was not a line. I recently bought a TB wallet from Neiman Marcus for $150, so I really wanted to compare prices. The wallets here were also around $150. However, the wallets are all of the old styles & the material was no way as nice as the wallet I purchased from Neiman Marcus. If you are looking for TB flats, boots, & sandals, this is the place. It is 20% if you buy one pair, and 20% off if you buy 2 pairs. The newer handbags were not marked down. I wish they had a greater selection of jewelry. I wished I checked to see if the scarfs were cheaper. One thing I really do not like is sometimes they do not have the correct price listed on the item. You would need to ask the employee. Anyways, I ended up getting an iPad 2 case for $20 and iPhone 5 case for $10. Not bad at all. Will definitely be back when I am in town. read more

Notify corporate either in writing or phone call! They probably don't have a clue about the great, awesome service provided. [Discount at end of this review] This store doesn't honor what they put out on the promotion at all. Even though they have this 10% promotion written on mall's promotion, they still tell people they cannot apply it. I asked, so where is your written policy? they said they didn't have it anywhere but they said so. Then I ask, in that case, you can tell anyone anything, and what you put out there doesn't mean anything. Then they just told me again that this is just because they said so. I cannot tell how frustrated I feel with the store staff and store managers. I would not suggest anyone go there just because they cannot horror what they said. Terrible customer service...we waited in line for my wife to buy some shoes for about an hour, once we finally made it back to where you get assigned a salesperson to help you she could have cared less about us. Arguing with my wife about what size shoe my wife wears even though my wife already owns several pairs of Tory Burch shoes including the same style she was wanting to try on. Then she insisted my wife try on the display pair that were pink even though my wife was only interested in the grey and red and wanted to see how each pair looked on her feet. Then our sales person disappeared for several minutes even though my wife was interested in a few other pairs of shoes and boots. Once she finally came back to us we were so over it we just took the one pair of shoes in grey and not deal with the terrible sales person any longer. We told the sales person there was a pair of sunglasses we wanted as well, she said everything would be waiting At the register....well after another 20 minute wait in the line to pay we arrived at the register and guess what, no sunglasses, so the we had to wait another 5 plus minutes for them to grab the sunglasses. Sorry but saving 40% is not worth it, time is money. I would have rather paid full price in a Tory Burch boutique store and received quality customer service. This experience actually left a bad taste in my mouth regarding the brand all together. Avoid this location at all costs. Yes. I have to admit that I love to come back and make more purchases because they've been having additional 40% of entire purchase since they first opened, which is a great deal for brands like Tory Burch. But in the bottom, they really need to work on their customer service. Really. I came in for an exchange for a smaller size of a pair of shoes for my mom. They brought out a display pair which made me concern and asked if I could order a new pair since I don't want to take the display one because there was a minor scratch. Then another lady came up and told me it would be $8 charge for the shipping. I refused to pay for the shipping because [Tory Burch is a premium brand that can be counted as a luxury brand and I already walked in store, asked for ordering a new pair, I expect there shouldn't be a charge on the S&H. In facts, any other shoes stores would offer a free shipping if you don't satisfy with any of the items they carry in store.] It's just even more ridiculous when that lady made a statement that "then you would HAVE to take them since you don't want to pay for the shipping" with a voice expresses like you cheap a*s, just take that pair and get out of the store. Who the heck would ever make a statement like that to a customer? And if she was me, or if anybody else was me, would you take them? I purchased a purse and after only a month there was a large black spot where the purse fastens with a magnet. The purse is tan and it looks terrible. I went back to the store and a very rude manager told me that it was normal wear and tear and there was nothing that she would do for me. I spent over $300.00 on a purse that I can't use. Some of the worst customer service I have received!!! I wish I could like it and I wish I was able to purchase 2-3 pairs of shoes, but as I walked in the store, I was one of 4 total customers and there were 6-8 people working. I wanted to try on some shoes and I felt like I was interrupting the associates that were chatting. I made eye contact and it felt like I was bothering them. I asked for three shoes, they begrudgingly went and only looked for 2... when I asked for 3. They gave me attitude for wanting the same shoe in 2 colors.... The managers of this Tory Burch Outlet store should know their sales associates are turning away customers with their incompetence and lack of customer service. I called on two separate occasions trying to purchase merchandise that was in-store. Both times the associates description of the merchandise was unclear and unable to provide a SKU or style number. After taking my information on both occasions with promises of photos to show the merchandise in question I have yet to receive an email or text message. Normally I love this store but over the weekend they had a line 25 people deep and they wouldn't let me in for a return. Not only is that assanine...some old lady pushed me out of the way to yell at the girl at the door. They can't manage the crowd control whatsoever.
