The long version: we reached out to David as one of our options when redoing our flooring in our home. He was helpful and came by to give us a quote and offer some flooring options. We ended up not going with him because our project manager wanted to use one of his guys. Even after deciding to go with someone else, David was responsive, kind, and helpful. Well, ultimately, we should have gone with David from the beginning because we had a very bad experience with the initial team our project manager chose (they didn't come on time, would skip days, were unresponsive, damaged parts of our home, and generally did poor work -- you name it, it went wrong with them). So: we went back out to bid the rest of the project (the stairs, the most complicated part of the project) with a number of contractors, including David and FCI of Eastern Nash --- his quotes were competitive with all the other bids we received. He was happy to work with us and use materials that we ordered separately through Floor & Decor. We switched to David halfway through the project to finish off our stairs. The difference between David's team and the other contractor was night and day. David was responsive and helpful in the planning stage, he spent a significant amount of time at our home making sure we were ordering the right materials with the right measurements, and he was flexible in moving the project date when our delivery of the flooring materials was delayed. His team showed up on time, worked hard all day, and even finished half a day early (which never happens in my experience with contractors!). David was there almost the whole time to monitor his workers, checked in regularly, and was the last one to leave in the evening. He even left our garage cleaner than it was when he got there! We had a couple items we wanted them to come back and refinish, and he and his team did it happily without push back. He even came back and did some of the final finishes himself when his team wasn't available, and that was after he had received full payment. He offered to come back and fix anything that went wrong with his going forward as well. Truly, top-tier customer service and a pleasure to work with. And the stairs with the new flooring look really great. Courteous, diligent, high-quality work at a competitive price -- he and his team made what was a daunting project feel easy. We will be using them again for all flooring projects in the area.

We were having a sunroom built and had looked at your typical Lowe's/Home Depot selection. Not that we didn't like what they had to offer, but their prices can be nearly double what you'll pay here! We wanted some vinyl planks that look like wood but are much more durable, scratch resistant, and obviously cheaper! R&T's selection can't be beat. They have colors, designs, and options of all types and for most any needs. They don't offer installation directly through them - he just sells the flooring itself, but the owner (who is super friendly and wants you to enjoy your product) has plenty of recommendations for locally-owned businesses who can do your installation for you, if needed. The only thing about the place is it's a little hard to find. It's in a warehouse next to a Crossfit gym behind Mt Juliet's train station. Pop the address in Google and it'll get you to the warehouse. You have to pull in on the left side and you should see some parking spaces labeled 'R&T only'. Can't say enough good things, and if you need some flooring, want to save some money and still get a good/quality product, and want to support local business - please shop here!

This was half of the 650 sqft we bought. Found a whopping 8 boards longer than 2' and most of them were missing the tongues. Super thrilled to go pick up the rest of this burn pile. Honestly, can't believe they are charging for their trash and wouldn't let us return it.
