We will be using David and his team for all of our future flooring projects in the Nashville area. I wouldn't go with anyone else. The long version: we reached out to David as one of our options when redoing our flooring in our home. He was helpful and came by to give us a quote and offer some flooring options. We ended up not going with him because our project manager wanted to use one of his guys. Even after deciding to go with someone else, David was responsive, kind, and helpful. Well, ultimately, we should have gone with David from the beginning because we had a very bad experience with the initial team our project manager chose (they didn't come on time, would skip days, were unresponsive, damaged parts of our home, and generally did poor work -- you name it, it went wrong with them). So: we went back out to bid the rest of the project (the stairs, the most complicated part of the project) with a number of contractors, including David and FCI of Eastern Nash --- his quotes were competitive with all the other bids we received. He was happy to work with us and use materials that we ordered separately through Floor & Decor. We switched to David halfway through the project to finish off our stairs. The difference between David's team and the other contractor was night and day. David was responsive and helpful in the planning stage, he spent a significant amount of time at our home making sure we were ordering the right materials with the right measurements, and he was flexible in moving the project date when our delivery of the flooring materials was delayed. His team showed up on time, worked hard all day, and even finished half a day early (which never happens in my experience with contractors!). David was there almost the whole time to monitor his workers, checked in regularly, and was the last one to leave in the evening. He even left our garage cleaner than it was when he got there! We had a couple items we wanted them to come back and refinish, and he and his team did it happily without push back. He even came back and did some of the final finishes himself when his team wasn't available, and that was after he had received full payment. He offered to come back and fix anything that went wrong with his going forward as well. Truly, top-tier customer service and a pleasure to work with. And the stairs with the new flooring look really great. Courteous, diligent, high-quality work at a competitive price -- he and his team made what was a daunting project feel easy. We will be using them again for all flooring projects in the area.

**WARNING** John, the owner, will take your money, not keep his promises, send non-expert workers…read morewho don't speak any English to do a half-ass job, and ignore your texts or calls asking to fix the multiple cracks left in your vinyl flooring. HE BLOCKED MY NUMBER instead of making it right. I paid for a job that was supposed to be completed in 1-2 days. John and one helper showed up 4 hours late the first day, worked for 2 hours, and disappeared for a few days. When they removed my carpet, they threw it on my front lawn (all 500+ sqft of it!), left my house filthy, and disappeared again for a few days. Then John BLOCKED my number. The trim job was done half-ass, as well, with multiple cracks and non-secured pieces. Their solutions was to caulk the huge gaps in the trim. They fixed a few cracks in the vinyl, but there are MANY left unfixed. I am pleased with the quality of the waterproof vinyl itself and the price. However, the frustration of being ignored mid-job and refusing to make it right was not worth it. His workers called me saying that John didn't pay them. I have since tried to text and call to see if they'll fix the cracks. I am being ignored. So, I have invested in some nice rugs to hide the cracks.
