Fun framing suggestions, helped me create something beautiful that I will enjoy for years. 3rd project was a pencil drawing I did 20 years ago -- I'm not an artist, but it was pretty and valuable enough to keep for a long time. At the top of the sheet of lovely archival paper was a remnant of the glue from taking the page out of the tablet. This was a fun detail that added dimension. When I went to pick up the framed piece, the person said, "oh I cut off that glue at the top so it would look cleaner". I was shocked. I always appreciate a suggestion for improving something but a) if you are going to CUT OUT a part of a work you have been asked to frame ASK FIRST and b) I liked the original version pre-cut.
