I was very impressed by the beauty of the office its very warm and welcoming there. Dr Rogers herself is super excellent!!! Her bedside manner is very warm and welcoming. She professional and knowledgeable. I am so glad I find her she will my new OBGYN...only one thing though....they don't do tubal ligation due to the Catholic hospital policy ugh!!! I didn't even make it into the door! I have insurance - literally government employee insurance. I've never had an issue using it anywhere, even out of the country! The receptionist tells me that this doctor only take employee issued insurance (wtf? My BCBS IS EMPLOYEE issued, but even if it wasn't, what kind of doctor only takes employee issued insurance???) So first this receptionist tells me it isn't valid. Then tells me it is. I call this morning to see if I still have the appointment, to which she tells me is canceled and she didn't reschedule because I didn't ask her to do so. BUT I ALSO DIDN'T ASK HER TO CANCEL IT. So then she goes back to saying my insurance isn't valid because its private and not employer (EXCEPT ITS LITERAL EMPLOYER. IT SAYS EMPLOYER ON THE FREAKING CARD. I LITERALLY HAVE THE SAME DAMN INSURANCE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HAS!). So here I am today, no OBGYN appointment and no one anywhere near me has any openings until next year. I cannot even begin to describe how much I adore my doctor. Well, actually I can haha I first started coming to this office in October 2017. I needed a new OB, as my Husband and I were beginning trying to conceive. We found out in December, right before the holidays, that I am pregnant. So there's my intro... The office staff- Let me just say, the ladies are amazing! I was in my first trimester and traveling to Boston. As most women tend to, I became sick while I was away. Any/EVERY time I called in to the office, the staff was so amazing at making sure that all of my concerns were addressed if it was something they could easily answer for me over the phone. If not, they always assured me that Dr. Rogers would get back to me ASAP. This was an extremely big deal for me, considering the time of year it was and knowing full well that the doctor's office is always busy and holiday office hours are also different. I was and still am very appreciative of them for that during that specific time of year. Anytime I come in, as I now just hit my 3rd trimester, the ladies are always so nice and friendly! This is clearly, a reflection on the Doc! So for me, I was already happy with my decision in coming here! I understand yelpers* voicing their opinions and wanting to also "vent bad experiences". However, I don't think that projecting your frustrations out on office staff members or projecting whatever wrong is happening in your life at that moment on to them, is their fault. I'm a firm believer in "You catch more bees with honey, and the trash stench lingers when the trash isn't taken out." So, perhaps reevaluate your bad vibes instead of projecting them on others... *shrugs* #lifelessons The Doc- Dr. Rogers is amazing! From day 1 she has been brutally honest with me, which is what I value in a doctor, among other things! I can't tell you how many times I have looked for other doctors because of their lack of communication. I don't think there is anything worse than a doctor you don't feel comfortable with; especially, an OB who is going to be delivering your baby. I understand that the majority of people are probably extremely sensitive, what given the times we live in now and what have you... but seriously, if you can't handle directness from a medical expert, then really, how are you going to handle giving birth?! I personally, LOVE the fact that she is not only sweet, cares about me and how my pregnancy is going and always voices that, but I appreciate how she is also so honest! I never feel confused after leaving an appointment with her. Granted, I may forget a lot (good ol pregnancy brain haha). I love that I can call anytime with any questions, because of my forgetfulness and she always gets back to me! The woman was on vacation for crying out loud, and STILL took time away from her personal family time to answer my trivial questions. I think that a lot of people can also expect more from individuals because they are doctors. That's just it, they're doctors; they aren't mind readers!! If you don't openly communicate with them and voice your concerns or questions with them, how do you expect them to be forthcoming with information? A great example is that I had some concerns about some genes of mine and if they could potentially harm my little guy. While it's easy for anyone to have a PHD in Google or WebMD, I appreciate the fact that she cares enough about my pregnancy to not fill me with information that does not pertain to my particular circumstance. The woman is a doctor! She can textbook quote me til the sun comes up! I'd prefer to not have that happen, which is what makes me so calm when she says to me when she has says, "I will tell you when or if there is anything to worry about." I trust Dr. Rogers completely!!! Pregnancy is a beautiful time in any woman's life. What I have experienced thus far with Dr. Rogers is that she wants me to be as relaxed and stress-free as possible. Knowing all of my energy goes to my baby. Happy/Healthy mama, happy/healthy baby! So for that, I am utterly grateful and blessed to have found her! I should have completed this review a long time ago, but hey....maybe in a way I wanted to keep a great thing to myself. Dr. Rogers and her team are family now...I could not be more pleased with the care that me and my son received. I will try to keep this informative and concise: 1) Insurance - Dr. Rogers has a new sidekick, Sarah, and she is phenomenal. She set expectations with regard to out of pocket expenses. She scheduled procedures in order to maximize benefits and reduced my out of pocket. Sarah is someone that anyone would be lucky to have, because she is loyal and takes her position in that office very serious. 2) Scheduling - I always had my choice of appointment times and I was always seen within 5 minutes of arriving, except once and I was advised Dr. Rogers was pulled into surgery. Also, there was one other instance, but I was notified 2 hours prior to my appointment. This seemed reasonable, since Dr. Rogers and her team cannot predict when her patients will go into labor. 3) Care/Bedside Manner - So first of all...Dr. Rogers is a hoot...it took me a second to catch on to her humor. But, she took my health and the care of my baby boy extremely serious. She was to the point and very matter of fact when it came to serious matters and concerns. I did not appreciate that fully at first (especially when it came to matters of weight gain), but when I was in the delivery room and after the fact, I realized she absolutely had my best interest. This was my fourth pregnancy and it was by far my best experience. 4) Procedures - One of the first reviews I read about Dr. Rogers said "can a pap be enjoyable". I have NEVER been so comfortable having a pap smear, but Dr. Rogers is efficient and takes all of the discomfort out of the process. Before finding Dr. Rogers, I only went to the doctor if I were pregnant. Now that I have a doctor that actually cares about my health I am completely confident with regular visits and I know she will not perform procedures I do not need. 5) Overall - I was a Medium-High risk pregnancy due mostly to my age, I also had some issues because I am Anemic (none of my other OB's ever caught this) and a few other issues. (Just a little bit about my previous experience, due to being Anemic and it going undetected I was very close to bleeding out with my first child, now that I am older I am appalled by my first doctors lack of attention to that) As each challenge presented itself, Dr. Rogers explained pros/cons, procedures, and provided suggestions on how to rectify the situation. Believe it or not, I thought it was normal to feel like passing out 4 times a day, but when I brought this to Dr. Rogers she ran test and got to the bottom of things. She also called to follow-up. Lastly, I always felt valued, respected and understood. That is something that is unfortunately very difficult to come by these days. I always imagined Dr. Rogers as a little girl, she must have dreamed of being a doctor. It is not about monetary gain with her, it is a passion and with her your health is personal. Her knowledgeable and relaxed bedside manner is exactly what we needed as first-time parents. When I was wracked with nausea, she prescribed the right, safe medication that seriously gave me my life back! Dr. Franchesca is candid, clear, and reassuring. I just went to my first appointment with Dr. Rogers and I only have positive things to say. I wanted to write something about parking since people clearly had an issue with it. I searched for street parking because of other reviews and found that was just a waste of time (too many people doing the same thing with not many spots). I ended up parking in the big garage behind the office and had zero trouble. I didn't valet like other people mentioned and I just paid $5 to self park. As for Dr. Rogers and her staff, they were all very kind. I get a lot of anxiety about doctors visits, especially the gyno, but she made me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable. I especially liked being able to see the ultrasound for my normal visit (not pregnant). The waiting room was also very tasteful, and I literally didn't have to wait at all, (though it is true that there isn't any phone service in there). If you are like me and have had trouble finding a good gyno in LA (especially a female doctor- why are they all men in this city?!?) I highly recommend her!! read more

Dr. Rogers is one if not the best doctor I have ever encountered. I recently switched from an old OBGYN due to their office not returning phone calls, booking appointments, and honestly just not being friendly. I found Dr. Rogers through an online search and COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER. She not only makes you feel so comfortable when meeting with her but makes you feel like you really can tell her anything. She calls you personally to check in on you and takes her time to sit and talk to you about anything. Being a woman it is especially important to feel like you can talk to your doctor about anything and feel like they truly are there to make sure you are the healthiest you can be. Dr. Rogers is the way to go. Wouldn't be surprised if I stuck with her all the way until the day I decide to have kids. :) read more

I have no idea how she is as a doctor but if her staff is anything like her service, I would not refer her. I was told that if I had blue cross/blue shield insurance that I would be in network for the doctor. After 2 months of waiting and getting that very specific insurance just to see her I was told that I was only covered under a company that had blue cross/blue shield. So now I have to go back to the drawing board. Would not recommend her just for having an ill-informed staff. read more

I was recommended Dr. Rogers by a friend. At first I thought, she seems so cool and has a great personality...but a series of incidences had me decide to switch to a new doctor. First off, during my first prenatal visit, I was sharing about a traumatic Gyno visit that sent me to the ER years back, and her responses was ,"How are you going to handle giving birth, then?" I was shocked. During my first appointment, she had two young women shadowing her. She did not explain why they were there and criticized them in front of me. When she found a cervical polyp, she said, "this is the biggest polyp I have ever seen!" with no explanation or information on what it means, how common they are, etc. I had to ask her to convince her to take a biopsy and literally said, "should I be concerned?" She then did not mention that it might slough off over the next few days---which it did--- and I thought I was miscarrying. Thank God I was not. The final straw was when she mentioned that her facility did not have any dopplers, and that I would be getting an ultra sound every.single.visit! When I voiced my concern she said in very blunt terms, "Well, I won't be able to tell if your baby is dead or not." Dr. Rogers did not make me feel taken care of or supported. I had seen Dr Rogers a couple of times for a pap smear and for BC options. The first time I went in she was a little aggressive but towards the end of the visit she loosened up and was nicer which is why I went back a couple more times. I found out I was pregnant recently and wanted no one else but Dr Rogers, so I called on Friday a few minutes after 12 noon to ask for medication for my nausea and she mentioned that they were closed and she didn't know "why the phones weren't shut off" but that she would take my call anyways (she sounded pretty upset and bothered). During our call she was very rude and was talking to me like I was a child which was very disappointing because I truly wanted her to be my doctor during my pregnancy. I called today (Monday) to cancel my appointment and the girl up front asked if I wanted to cancel or reschedule, I told her I wanted to cancel because Dr Rogers had been rude to me (I was still hoping they would show some type of sympathy)all she said was "okay thanks goodbye". This goes to show how much they care about their patients..... very disappointing and unprofessional. read more

After telling me I needed a uterine biopsy, Dr Rogers and her entire staff completely forgot about me and I had to call three times to try and schedule the biopsy. Dr Rogers got back to me after 3 weeks, telling me she would call me the next day and it was another 10 days before I got a call from the office. Wow! I can't even begin to describe how amazing this office is! From the moment you walk in to the dr to everything! I have tried tons of Obgyn out here and have been interviewing quite a bit because we want to start a family soon and none of them really meshed well with me. They were rushed, always ignoring questions, super busy, having no patience. Well that all changed today!!!! The office staff here is incredible, kind, welcoming, not pushy. They understood when I declined certain procedures due to budget. Even the dr would say hey would you like to do this? It isn't mandatory. For once I got a choice on procedures instead of having it pushed on me and then I get the bill and it's super high! I got to say no I don't wish to have that done today and then the conversation was dropped. They didn't push procedures on me. She was busy but the staff came and apologized for the wait , but it wasn't even much of a wait, literally 5 minutes of waiting they came and apologized! I was in and out in under an hour! That's the thing is this dr makes you feel as if you are her only patient all day! She truly takes time with you! So first class on that and then the dr is just incredible! She is so patient and kind and listens and adjusts to the patient. I am a nervous patient in general but she adjusted to that, made me feel super comfortable and just conformed to what I needed in order to help me relax and let the procedure happen. Now I'm even more excited to get pregnant just so I can go hang with the dr again!!! Simply the best Obgyn in Los Angeles. The office is very nicely decorated - it has a classy, chic feel to it, and they saw me quickly so I was in and out during my lunch break which is awesome. Stay away. I wanted to like this doctor and thought I would based on the reviews. But I was incredibly disappointed with the staff and the doctor herself. First, when I arrived her nurse stated they didn't have appointment for me. After checking her records, she recalled I did in fact have an appointment. Second, the doctor seemed to be put out or frustrated by the fact that I had brought my medical records from my former provider. Without giving me an opportunity to explain, she quickly indicated that she wouldn't be interested in what happened previously, but would only see me for pelvic pain. I gave birth 1 month ago. She knew this, but because she didn't handle the delivery she wanted to turn a blind eye to my prior medical records!?* Irresponsible to say the least. Third, the nurse tried to charge me a $35 co-pay AND coinsurance even though the doctor was in network. I told her this was incorrect. However, she was adamant and defensive, stating she had already verified my benefits. When I finally got a representative on the phone to confirm I only owed a copay, she rolled her eyes and advised me that I still might be charged more later and claimed the BCBS reps are unreliable. Dr. Rogers stepped in to defend her rude nurse. Meanwhile, the BCBS rep overheard the entire exchange over the phone and couldn't believe the lack of professionalism and decorum; even she recommended I go elsewhere. You should too. read more

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Rogers as my doctor while I was pregnant and for postpartum. She is the most understanding doctor I've ever had. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. She always made me feel comfortable and we always had communication. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers! She is the BEST!!! Today was my first visit with Dr. Rogers. Because some of the other reviewers complained about parking I took an uber to avoid the hassle. Happy I did because the complex is very busy. The waiting room is nicely decorated and clean. Another reviewer complained there was no wifi, I had no issues connecting. The wait wasn't long at all, and the women working the front desk were very nice and professional. Doctor Rogers spent time with me going over family history, my concerns etc before starting my exam. While examining me I was completely comfortable and it went by very fast, possibly because I enjoyed getting to see the ultrasound of my uterus while it was happening... The Office, bathrooms and exams rooms were very clean. The best experience I've had at the obgyn in a long time. I'll definitely be going back for my yearly exam. I definitely recommend Dr rogers she was very kind and knowledgeable I was completely at ease. read more

Dr. Rogers is amazing!! She is a godsend! It is so hard to find a doctor that actually cares let alone remember your conditions. She is very accessible to patients which is rare in this day and age. She calls her patients directly with all results rather it be normal or not and If I'm not mistaking she calls with reminder appts HERSELF! She is a competent doctor that listens to her patients and addresses all questions and concerns. She is usually running on time but if she runs a bit late she is WORTH THE WAIT!!! Don't complain about it. Anyway, it is a given you wait at a doctors office. She is soooo worth it. The front office is friendly but they do get extremely busy and for those extra sensitive may think of them as rude but they are lovely ladies that know what they are doing. In my opinion it is more important that the staff is competent vs spend their time being friendly. This office is a keeper. Parking is a bit expensive but Dr. Rogers and her staff makes it worth that cost. read more

My long-time OB-GYN retired, and I had been looking for a new doctor for awhile. After reading Dr. Rogers's reviews, I called her office to schedule my annual exam. Her front office staff is lovely to work with, and took time to explain how the insurance submission process worked since Dr. Rogers was not in my insurance network. Dr. Rogers was warm and friendly, and immediately put me at ease. As it was my first visit, she took a thorough history and spent the time to answer my questions. She was very professional in the exam, and called with the results, which many doctors only do if there is an abnormal result. When I was searching for a new doctor, I noticed that some were only accepting new patients who were pregnant or trying to get pregnant. Dr. Rogers takes patients at all stages of life and gave me thorough care and attention even though we are not trying to have a baby. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Rogers and am glad to have found a great doctor. read more
