This review is about the call center, not Dr. Galstyan. I'm a returning patient and tried to schedule an appointment, but the call center was not helpful. They seemed unfamiliar with Tricare and told me my waivers were expired without verifying first. I was asked to call my insurance and do a 3-way call because they were "too busy" to verify themselves. If you have Tricare, I recommend doing your own verification beforehand--this office doesn't seem equipped to handle it properly. Unfortunately I didn't ask for a call reference number, the rep I spoke to was name Gloria from the call center. I would hate to think patients were turned away due to their call center not having the time to verify insurance or the call center being updated on changes to policy. read more

I would recommend this clinic, but not Dr. Kevin Galustyan. The doctor is very rude, the examination takes a minute and it feels like he wants to leave as soon as possible. The last time I lay without underpants for 40 minutes until he came to see me, are you out of your mind? Honestly Dr.Galstyan is the best OB I could've asked for. anytime there was something I was worried about, I would ask him, and he would make me feel so calm and less worried. Came a certain point where my babies stopped growing in the womb and he just kept following up making sure everything was good and once we realize that it was a full week, he hadn't grown whatsoever. He suggested, inducing me for labor, and I had the complete mindset of going in and doing natural labor so he was very much willing to do that for me until I asked him which is better natural or C-section in my condition and he gave me the rundown of how both will go and let me make my own choice instead of pressuring me to do one or the other. I could not recommend a better doctor than him. I would highly recommend Dr. Galstyan. He's very professional and reliable. He safely delivered my first baby naturally exactly at the time he predicted (he was off by only 15 minutes). I had a healthy pregnancy and appointments were very short. Unfortunately the wait time is a little bit long, but it is a testament to how many patients choose him as their OB. Reception is very helpful and a nurse is always available to answer any questions between appointments. read more

Shame on you Dr Galstyan!! Pregnancy after a miscarriage is not easy and whoever's been through it will understand that every little detail, every abnormal test results will cause panic which is not good for you nor your baby. My angel of a doctor, Dr Valdes has been very supportive and patient with me and my husband. Also had an interaction with Dr Lee when i called after hours who's also been very helpful, for which I'm beyond grateful to both of them. At my 24 weeks got an abnormal test results that were very concerning to me and goggleing it obviously made things worse, decided to call and speak to the doctor on call (which again done that couple of times and it was always with either my doctor, or Dr Lee) and i got unlucky the doctor on call was dr Galstyan. Already from his "hello" i could tell that this man was very annoyed that he was being bothered. Tried to explain the situation, and all i got was "I don't know, call back I'm not your doctor, I don't have your chart and this is not an emergency". Obviously he didn't have my chart open because i could tell that he wasn't even in front of his computer, but you provide your information prior getting connected to the on call doctor so that they can have an access to your chart. Very unprofessional and disappointing. No empathy whatsoever. read more

Do not recommend this doctor to any women! The doctor seems more concerned about getting to his next patient without addressing my concerns or questions regarding my pregnancy and health. This was my first pregnancy and I would never choose this place or recommend this doctor to anyone. I should also mention that during my last visit when I asked the the doctor questions he brushed me off in a rude demeanor by saying " Don't argue with me and go to the hospital" as he walked out of the room. I walked out of that office and never looked back. I went to a different doctor. Moreover, after changing my doctor I obtained my medical records and discovered that he falsified information to make his case of labeling me as a "high risk pregnancy". I'm a healthy 26 year old with my first pregnancy. No pregnant women should endure this kind of unprofessional and unethical obgyn. I filed a grievance with my health care provider after my last visit about this doctor and my experience. I will make sure to post about my experience using all outlets and platforms to inform other mothers to be. I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. Dr Galstyan is the best. Dr Galstyan is a very fast dr which a lot of patients don't like, however, to me it's his professionalism that everything gets done fast by him. It takes another doctor 5-10 minutes to do an ultrasound. It literally takes dr Galstyan 1 minute. He is so knowledgeable and experienced that he doesn't need long time. There are a lot of good doctors, however, when it comes to a high risk pregnancy, most of them can't pull it off. Dr Galstyan, his knowledge, and experience pulls off everything. Dr. Galstyan has been my OB since 2018, and I can't imagine delivering my two kids without his guidance and expertise. I appreciate the fact that he is confident in his approach to medicine, but also is knowledgeable of what patients are most concerned for when it comes to prenatal care, delivery, and postnatal recovery. I truly appreciate his sense of humor, and the fact that he's able to keep you calm regardless of any issues that you may encounter through your pregnancy journey. I was so anxious during delivery, but as soon as he entered the room, I was relieved in knowing he knew exactly what to do, and I delivered both my babies within a matter of minutes. Just a heads up, considering the reviews I've been reading about him by other yelpers, if you're looking for a physician that will sit by your side for an hour and discuss your life's journey with you and how you got pregnant, etc, he's not the doctor for you loll the office is very efficient in getting patients in an out. And for the people that are complaining that they wait too long to be seen - be practical people, he's quick in seeing you because he literally has patients in L&D getting ready to deliver at any moment! Dr kevin Galstyan is one the best dr in Glendele who does the best baby delivery and the best C-section all of my friends done a C-section with this doctor he works at different locations of comprehensive community center as well as Memorial Hospital and his own office.
