I've gotten my brows semi-permanent tattoo about 4 times from 3 different brow artists. Antonia's been the most professional and best so far. She has an excellent shape and my brows look so natural, gorgeous and better than ever. After spending almost a whole day at this salon, the team made sure I ate, was taken care of and kept complimenting me no matter how abstract I looked with all that foil stop my head. Everyone here is super friendly, and genuinely want to do a good job. I see them taking their time and really enjoying what they do. Prior to becoming a client I travelled to Yorkville and was initially reluctant to change. Then one day, the convenient location won me over and I've never looked back! All staff are friendly and professional and I've been equally happy with any stylist, colourist and aesthetician, though I do have my regulars. I made an appointment after work, and I arrived on time. First impression, it was clean and well kept. I had to wait about 15 minutes while the hairdresser (I think Gary) was finishing up with another client. It was fine, I was not in a rush. When it was my turn, Gary greeted me and he was a ball of energy. He mentioned it was a really busy day and he made himself an espresso (offered me one too) and began washing my hair. It seemed like he was in a rush and washed quite quickly. He consulted me on how I wanted to get it cut, and I explained, and showed him a couple quick examples. I just wanted some layers. He said that will be easy and started cutting my hair. He was quite speedy, which was concerning at first, but I was chatting with him the whole time and became distracted. Gary is a great conversationalist! After the cut, he round-brushed my hair and it had some curls. It looks nice and I was satisfied. He quickly cashed me out and went off to his next client. My entire appointment lasted about 40 minutes from washing to cashing out. So why the three stars? Today I straightened my hair and I think it looks ridiculous! Left side, top layers appear to be significantly shorter than the bottom layer; whereas the right side is blended pretty well. I am not happy with this. The experience at the salon was a solid 5 stars, but the cut... 1. I might still go back to them for a quick blow-out, but I am a little skeptical about getting my hair cut. In fact... I will have to be careful about rushed appointments in general. I want to recommend this salon, but I am torn. Please make sure you talk to them carefully about how you want your hair cut, and inspect it carefully after.

I did research, and they are the ONLY salon I found to have the ORIGINAL Brazilian Blowout keratin treatment in GTA. The bottle was right on the counter as I had my hair done, went home and looked it up afterwards and it was the real deal! Didn't burn my eyes at all, smells amazing, and my hair a month later looks AWESOME!! Gerti is excellent! He's incredibly thorough and thoughtful. Took care to comb the treatment meticulously through my frizzy damaged hair, root-to-tip, then took the time to blowdry then straighten with an iron. He was very knowledgeable and professional and really seemed to care about my hair, unlike many stylists who rush through the process.

The new location is even closer to the subway exit at Ranleigh. They were at a different spot on Yonge street before. This location now is larger, on the ground floor & more open. I love it. The front of the salon has shelves with the products they sell. It also serves as the reception area with two chairs & a desk where their receptionist is. Then beyond that you will see the salon chairs where all the cutting & hair colouring takes place. In the middle of the first floor are the basins for washing peoples hair. There's a space behind the basins with a big long table where the manicures get done. Then at the back of the salon is a single bathroom. I've been told the facials & massages get done on the lower level. I haven't been down there yet but I'm booked for a facial in three weeks so I'll update my review afterwards. Traci cut my hair on this occasion & I asked her to cut it shorter than usual. She washed my hair & then the cut itself took about 40-25 minutes. We chatted during the cut. I haven't been to the salon since October 2020 because of covid. Traci did an amazing job on me as usual. Since it was super humid & hot the day I came I asked for no blow dry. So she just added some styling product to my hair & I was ready to go! I got some hydrating hand sanitizer to try & asked about the NuFace machines. They gave me lots of info on NuFace which is a microcurrent machine used to help improve your skin. They use it in their facials too. I'm going to save up & get one in the future. Anyway I really recommend this place as they are eco-friendly. They also have great service, great staff. Love the way their salon looks too. Expect to pay for quality. This is not one of those places that charges $12 for a haircut. For me their prices are totally worth it as my whole experience here from start to finish is golden. Their products being eco-friendly are pricier than drug store finds too. But if eco-friendly & non-toxic is important to you this is the place to go to.
