My favorite section of this store is the clearance section, as they are always 50-80% off the retail price. So I've found $40 items for like $5. I've bought a bunch of shirts and sweaters on clearance here. The home section is good too. I've bought some cool kitchen stuff in here, candles, holiday decorations, and more. I'm typically not a huge fan of the shoe section. Just because I never find anything I can't live without there. My husband loves to check out their section of Oregon Duck gear. The store is always clean. That's never a problem. The racks could be spaced apart a little farther, as it seems claustrophobic at times. That's honestly my biggest complaint. Employees are a bit scarce as well. I never see any unless they are at the cash registers. So if you need something, good luck finding someone. They keep the metal pole things to get stuff off high racks stashed around the store, and you're never too far from one. So you just have to look for them. I know this, so I never have a problem with it. But if you're not familiar with where they are, finding someone to help you reach something can be frustrating and annoying. Being short, this is always a problem for me. The cashiers are so-so. They push the credit card thing really hard. I would presume it has something to do with how their performance is evaluated or something big, so they are required to push it. Sometimes they can be downright rude and hostile if you don't want their card. They ask, I give an excuse, they argue. Pull another excuse, another argument, followed by them trying to convince you, bla bla bla. Finally by the time you are agitated enough to snap at them, they back off. But they will harass you until you get pissed enough to yell at them over it. This is the worst part of the experience, and what keeps it at 3 stars. The store and the sales are worth 4 stars, but the cashiers who push the credit cards is what keeps it at 3 stars. I really wish they weren't required to be so pushy about it, and make it a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, it's not. If I could do self checkout, it would totally make 4 stars. Lol. I will definitely keep returning to this store to buy home decorations, clearance items, Duck gear for my husband, and much more.

She mentioned there were gift cards that got us an additional $40 off our entire order, and we could purchase and use them that day. This was on top of the store already having 25% off all items. She asked if it was ok, as it would take a few minutes, and we said of course. She kindly chatted with us as the process proceeded and we set up having an item shipped to us they didn't have. So I was glad to find that there is a Duluth Trading Company in this part of Oregon (there is also a location in Portland). Duluth Trading Company is dog friendly (another reason why I really like this brand). So my husband, our little girl dog and I stopped in a for a visit on a week day night last week. We were greeted immediately when we came in by 2 friendly employees who were putting up Christmas decorations by the front entrance. These 2 employees just loved our little girl and seemed so joyful and delighted when she came in (a normal response that I know others have also experience when they have met our little girl). Then after that, we began browsing the store. My favorite part of the store was the clearance section in the back, by the men's section. I always seem to find things that I like in this section, which is great at the discounted price. And even better than there is no sales tax in Oregon, so I am saving even more (at least that is what I tell myself). Overall, we had a great shopping experience and am sure if I lived in this area, I would shop here more often with our little girl.

I was trying to get the attention of a staff member that was walking around re-folding T-shirts in certain areas. No luck with her but the staff member in the sales area asked if she could help me. I tried on both shirts. one was too large and the other one was just right. On my first visit, all of the staff members were very aware of all the customers in the store, but I did not have that kind of luck this second time I went. And as with all good treasure hunts: found a beautiful one of a kind feeling piece, as well as an important basic to expand the winter wardrobe... except, because they were also carrying "petites" everything also fit perfectly -- like actually fit my natural frame, no alterations needed. The sleeves were the right length on the jacket. The waist hit the right place. It was an instant "yes!" And the denim skirt was a little stretchy with a little Give and it looked tailored and smart enough to wear for casual work. All on 50% sale. Helpfully there was lots of free lot parking, and the kind of vibe outside, in the shopping center courtyard -- which included tables and chairs -- for comfortable waiting. The holiday decorations were up and it was a really festive vibe. This store is large, open and is loaded like a supermarket with footwear and footwear only! Which means that it is organized and has plenty of every style and size. You won't find floors littered with boxes and mixed shoes lying around. You WILL find actual STAFF available and willing to help. There is some obscure brand I never heard of that the Mrs wanted for jazzercise, and the staff helping us walked us right to that selection. The store is brightly lit, shelves are easy enough to look over to see the signs depicting brands, prices are also much better here. Next time I'm looking for Skechers for under $75 I know where to go. Don't get it wrong though, they also have some really top of the line brands as well.
