This is not my normal salon. I came here in a pinch b/c it was closer but wish I had just drove the distance. I discussed what I wanted with the stylist, but they ended up doing the opposite of what I asked for. Additionally, as another customer mentioned, the stylist didn't ask me how I wanted to style my hair, if I liked the cut, or show me the back -- they just said it looked great and then walked away. The price also was not justified by the cut and overall experience. I was also not happy with the Covid precautions, or lack of. No one wore a mask and they tried to tell me that it's okay b/c "everyone" is vaccinated (but how do they know if all the clients are?) At my normal salon, everyone is masked up and they seat the customers far apart, which was not what happened here. The place also gave a "I am too cool for school" vibe which was alienating, so I will not be returning. read more

In my opinion, a business should honor the prices it advertises. Nevertheless, I went to this salon for a simple men's haircut a few days ago and was charged $50.00! After Frank finished cutting my hair, and before I walked to the front desk to pay, I tipped him $20 (which I would never have done if I knew he was going to scam me). Just as I was walking to the front desk, my cell phone rang and I had to take the call, so I was a bit distracted when I pulled out my credit card to pay. Basically, I assumed (wrongly) that I would have been charged the fee advertised (see photo of website attached). This is the problem honest people like me have - as soon as you let your guard down, someone takes advantage of you. It is also my opinion that when you bring this type of public misinformation to the owner's attention, he should do the right thing and honor the prices he publishes. Yet, when I sent a message to the salon notifying them of this overcharge, instead of recognizing their own mistakes and correcting it (as ALL HONEST business owners would have done), I was told, "Francesco hopes that you are pleased with your hair cut and hopes that you understand that as the owner of the salon along with his years of expertise that $50.00 is the price he charges for all of his men's hair cuts." Seriously? No, Frank - I don't understand and I'm not happy at all. I don't understand how a business can be open for so many years, and still not have their act together when it comes to pricing!!! And I definitely don't understand how anyone can dispute prices that are clearly published on their own website!!! Arrogance combined with misleading advertising and a complete failure to do what's right by your client (especially when you as the owner are clearly wrong) is not the sign of a professional business person. I could have literally received the same exact haircut from the Hair Cuttery for much less. I mean, really, there was nothing special about my haircut to warrant this absurd fee. Nothing. Making matters worse, I wasn't exactly treated well while I was in this salon. The person who washed my hair had ZERO personality. I wasn't even offered a glass of water (as I have been by virtually every other salon I have visited throughout my life), and Frank didn't even bother to ask me if I was pleased with my haircut. After he was done cutting it, he simply pulled the cape away from me, without even giving me the chance to look in the mirror. He literally assumed that he had done a great job. When I told him I wanted to put on my eye glasses and check out my hair, he got upset. The fact of the matter is, he did a lousy job. The sides of my hair are uneven, and the back hairline is totally messed up! He didn't even ask me HOW I like to wear it in the back - he just started hacking away, assuming that whatever he was doing was great." I have no problem with a person charging whatever they want to charge for their services. And, if they can get that fee, then great. However, I have a BIG problem with someone advertising one fee, then charging a different fee. I cannot get away with that type of deception in my business. I know this salon has a lot of loyal customers, but for anyone new considering this salon, I would strongly encourage you to reconsider. I don't know about you, but ethics and integrity is very important to me. I will most certainly steer my own family, friends and clients far away from this place! read more

Jen Pratt is one of the most talented hair stylists, actually hair artist is more fitting, I have ever met. She continues to amaze me and that's pretty impressive after 19 years! Check out this incredible fo-hawk she did for me in addition to the kick ass color! What an artful addition of pink and blonde to my red curls. I am moving to Florida (that's over 1000 miles away) and I'm scheduling flights to come back for her. Amazing hair from Kelli! I went in for a honey blonde color to brighten me up some. She is very friendly, has a great personality and is easy to communicate with. My hair came out amazing, she knew what color I wanted because I showed her a picture. She said she knew I wouldn't be quite happy with the first toner color so she used another one which came out PERFECT! I appreciate her doing that and not just pushing me out the door. By far the WORST and most overpriced and overrated hair salon I have ever been too in my many years of going to salons to get my hair done. I have tried many of the stylists there and am always disappointed. Got my hair fried from bleach there on more than one occasion because they used too high of a volume developer on my delicate hair and left it in for way too long. My balayage was extremely streaky and brassy and I paid an arm and a leg for the service. Most of the stylists here are arrogant SOBs who think they know how to do hair... think again honey. After going here more than a few times and giving them the benefit of the doubt way too many times I have come to the conclusion that this place just sucks. Save yourself the pain and money and find a good salon who actually takes pride in their work. This salon is an absolute disgrace!!! read more

I was really disappointed in my experience here. I wanted my roots retouched and a simple cut...I walked away with my roots being a different color and my ends being significantly darker. Also, the stylist let me leave with dye still on my face. I asked my regular stylist who will be moving soon to take a look and not only was the color off, but the cut was uneven in several different places. When I called to make my appt, I let them know my hair texture so they could put me with the appropriate person. Apparently I did not get that. It's really ashame, but honestly I did not feel at home there or welcome at all. read more

I came into the salon after a terrible highlight job at another salon. The color was streaky and brassy and I was worried they wouldn't be able to do much to fix it. But boy, was I wrong. Giovanni is an artist. He took time to plan exactly how he wanted to approach my hair given the pervious highlights and my hairs curly texture. Regular highlights don't work on my hair and just end up making it look frizzy. He understood that. He worked his magic and I walked out with hair better than the magazine picture I showed him. This was my first trip to the salon, thanks to my husband for the livingsocial deal. I got a massage, facial and mani/pedi. Entrance- when you first walk in, it's slightly loud since the hair salon is immediately to the left. Parking lot was completely full and I had to stalk the cllients that were leaving for a space. However, the spa was incredibly soothing and relaxing. Spa- lockers, robes and slippers are provided for you. It is a small space available for changing and 2 showers. The "living room" where you wait for your masseuse to come greet you is incredible - dimly lit, soothing music, tea/water/crackers/magazines are provided. Massage/facials - KB is absolutely incredible! she loves what she does and is incredibly gifted. Her massage was very thorough. She asked for problem areas and I informed her of my neck and shoulders; not only did she start there, she kept going back to it. She was superb. Mani/Pedi- Heather was my technician and I can't begin to explain how wonderful my experience was with her. She was super sweet, considerate and fun to talk with. I opted for the Gelish mani (paid the difference of course) and absolute loved it. For my pedi, she brought me water and a granola bar since I was there all day. She even brought me a warm neck wrap and didn't rush through my appointment even though I was her last client for the night. This was a wonderful place and I will definitely return. I LOVE this salon! First, every employee (from the receptionist team to the hair stylists) are professional, sweet and always polite. Secondly, the salon itself is so lovely, I find myself arriving a bit early for appointments. Third - and most important - I have been so SO happy with the services I've gotten here (so far, up dos, color and cuts), though I can't speak to the other services though the spa looks very nice too. Every time I get my hair done, I feel like my current stylist (Becca) really cares about what I want, and takes great care to make sure I'm happy with my hair before I leave. I wanted a short haircut and called ahead to make sure my stylist was comfortable with short hair. They assured me my stylist had experience. My hair looks nothing like the picture I showed her, she was very uncomfortable cutting my hair and therefore did not give me a cut like I wanted. She even said I needed to "compromise" and go with a longer look. Customer service was awful. I walked in the salon with high hopes but I was so disappointed. I had to wait for twenty minutes for the stylist. After she finally asked me what I wanted, she completely ignored it. I wanted a simple long bob with a side swept bang. She actually cut a piece of my bangs in the middle of my forehead and didn't say anything. The stylist I had got my shirt wet on both of my shoulders and on both occasions talked about going out and partying. My cut was just ok and I can definitely style it better myself. I'm usually very forgiving of business faux pas or lack of common courtesy at times. However, this salon has left such an indelible bitter taste that I'm taking to review them several months after the incident. I was a walk-in customer and it didn't seem like they were too happy to see someone who didn't have a prior appointment. I was introduced to a grumpy hairstylist, who barely smiled once during my entire session or offered any pleasantries, except to bark instructions to follow her to have my hair washed. All my small talk was immediately struck down either with a curt reply or a head shake. I do not recall her name, but she had plenty of tattoos and absolute disinterest in engaging with the customer. The haircut was so terrible that it was a glaring testament to the stylist's indifference and the fact that she did not hear any of my request or preferences. And just when I thought things can't get any worse, I went to the front desk to pay my bill and I was hinted to leave a tip. I bit my tongue and decided to look past everything and asked them to add it to my total, so I can put it on my credit card - But much to my surprise - it was CASH ONLY to tip! Instead of accommodating a customer who did not have cash to tip, they had the nerve to point me to their ATM machine to withdraw cash in order to TIP the HORRIBLE service I had just endured!!! And to top it - their cash machine charges unreasonable amount of fees to withdraw! How greedy can one be! What a bunch of insensitive and pretentious snobs who are only out there to fleece you! I work for a local business with over 2000 employees and our company used to send out weekly email bulletin promoting this salon to all their employees. Well, not anymore since I've advised our HR/PR folks at our office to replace these disconnected elitist with far more deserving salon services in the area. Never again. read more

Today was my first time at F/G with Kellie. She was terrific, personable, skilled and took her time to understand what i wanted. As I looked around the salon, i saw many different stylists. There were men, women and young or older. There were smiles from some and fashionable silence from others. If you had a stinky time here... i suggest you didn't have a good match of a stylist. I finally decided to get a style for my hair which was one length to the middle of my back. I asked for long bangs with a lot of layers with a whyspy look. Something low maintenance that I could still put in a pony tail. I walked out with a MULLET courtesy of Andrea. I walked out because it was two days before Christmas, I was haing compny the next day and jus tdid not have the energy to deal with it at that time. I called the next day to complain and Giovanni was too busy to come to the phone to speak to a client that was upset. He did call me back and fit me in the same day. He looked at me asked if my hair was one length when I came in the other day. I told him it was. HE HAD TO CUT OVER 12 INCHES OFF TO FIX IT. I went from hair that was MID BACK TO NOT EVEN SHOULDER LENGTH. To top off he acted as if he was doing me a favor by not charging me to fix my hair to cut that I absolutely hate and was to even PROFESSIONAL enough or MAN enough to applogize for what HIS EMPLOYEE did to me. read more

I went to this salon with high hopes. I choose one of the owners because I thought they were worth the higher price, but I was so disappointed. I explained what I wanted done, and I asked him if he understood, if it made sense. He said "totally make sense" and could do what I asked for. I would have been happier if he would have said that he couldn't cut my hair and send me on my way. He gave me the worse hair cut I've ever had. Not what I wanted at all. It is impossible to style it and no long enough to have cut again, I will have to suffer through it until it grows a little and I can have someone else try to make it look better. Lesson learned!! I go out of my way to go to get my hair cut with Giovanni. I get compliments all of the time on my hair. I have tried to find a stylist closer to home, but its not worth the drab haircuts that don't work with my hair type. His style lets my hair look great whether I style it or not. Giovanni has listened to my requests over the years, and I have even heard him tell his assistants how I like my hair before they start to work with me. He remembers! But most of all, he gives me a cut I can't get anywhere else and he does it with a down to earth nice personality. read more

I finally stopped in hoping to find a decent salon in the area. The service is friendly and the shop looks OK but the result was disappointing. It is going to take a long time for me to grow out a really bad haircut and the color is not at all what I asked for. I also had a manicure which was fine but the local nailshop does a better job and provides a far more relaxing and upscale environment. I won't be going back and really regret my visit. They don't listen to how you would like your hair, they do your hair how they want it (making it 100x more complicated than what you asked for), resulting in a $100 bill. I have been going to this salon since high school. They are mad expensive (IMO), but very very worth it. I go to Giovanni a.k.a. Little John and he is superb. He cuts your hair in such a way that even as it grows out it still looks fabulous. When I sit in Gs chair, he asks me what I want, and I simply say, "do you, I trust your artistic style and work". *NOTE*, I have NEVER walked out unhappy. When you leave the salon, you feel like you've been on Extreme Makeover. My only complaint is that they push their high-end beauty products too much. I went to get my hair darkened slightly, I had medium brown hair with highlights. I walked out with black hair! It was horrible!!
