I had a great Drybar experience here. I had some trouble booking online, but was able to easily…read morebook through text. I was taken care of immediately and my appointment was way faster than I expected it to be. I absolutely love how my hair came out. I asked for the Straight Up for a wedding because it was a really windy day and my hair doesn't hold curls well on a normal day, so I thought trying anything else would be pointless. My stylist did more of a Mai Tai instead which I was a little worried about but it came out amazing and I was shocked that it lasted all day long. She did an amazing job and I will definitely come back for any weddings/special events.

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The first red flag was the communication. This location rarely answers the phone and instead asks customers to text. Even then, responses often took a long time. I booked my appointment a month in advance for my courthouse wedding. I initially scheduled a blowout but later changed it to an updo ("Uptini") and made it clear this was for my wedding. I also asked whether I should wash my hair beforehand or if they would do it during my appointment. I was instructed to arrive with second-day hair, so I followed those directions. The morning of my wedding, my appointment was at 8:00 a.m. I arrived a few minutes early and walked into an empty salon. I waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Around the same time, I received a text saying my stylist was running late because of traffic. Life happens, so I wasn't upset about that. When my stylist arrived, there was no greeting or introduction. She simply said, "Follow me." At the shampoo area, I explained I was there for an updo and had been instructed to come with second-day hair. She quietly replied, "I wish they had told me that." So we headed back out without a wash. She then asked to see my inspiration photo and immediately turned to another stylist asking, "How would you do this?" That was the moment I lost confidence. After booking a month in advance for my wedding, I couldn't understand why I had been assigned someone who either didn't have the experience in updoes or had not been familiar with the service. It became obvious the stylist didn't know what she was doing. Throughout the appointment, she barely spoke to me. I never even learned her name because she never introduced herself. Once the other stylist finished with her client, she stepped in to try and help. She was warm, congratulated me on my wedding, and genuinely tried to guide the appointment. When I finally saw the back of my hair, I was devastated. It looked nothing like the inspiration photo that had been sitting in front of my stylist the entire appointment. The style was flat, lacked texture and volume at the crown, and looked like little more than curled hair pinned into a ponytail. Very little product appeared to be used, and there was no way to achieve the airy, textured look I had requested without starting over. The second stylist did her best to improve it, but there was only so much she could do. Eventually, I accepted that it wasn't going to become the hairstyle I had envisioned. I paid, left, and tried not to let it ruin my wedding day. I've been to several Drybar locations in California and understand they are independently owned franchises, but I still expect the professionalism and quality associated with the Drybar brand. Unfortunately, this location fell far short of those expectations. Paying $109 for this updo was incredibly disappointing. I still left a tip, but not because I was satisfied with the service. I tipped because the second stylist took time out of her schedule to genuinely try to salvage a situation she didn't create, and I appreciated her effort. By that point, I also didn't have the energy to keep discussing what was clearly wrong with my hair--I simply wanted to leave. The final result looked nothing like what I requested, and I honestly believe I could have achieved a better outcome myself. On such an important day, that was heartbreaking. If you're looking for an updo, I would strongly recommend choosing a salon that specializes in formal hairstyling. Based on my experience, I would not trust this location with an updo, especially for a wedding or other special occasion. I've included photos so others can judge the results for themselves. The last photo is the inspiration picture that sat on the table throughout the appointment.

They assured me that they could do both services, rather than my returning for one of them, and also still have a blow dry. They both worked to do the foil and blow dry, and Frank gave me a beautiful cut. I was done in under two hours and made it home in plenty of time. I can't thank them enough for knowing how to effortlessly provide outstanding customer service, and for their teamwork in giving me such a great experience prior to the important meeting. I highly recommend them to anyone who values kindness, along with their cutting-edge experience in hair, and the entire salon's outstanding customer service. They will take excellent care of you!

I discussed what I wanted with the stylist, but they ended up doing the opposite of what I asked for. Additionally, as another customer mentioned, the stylist didn't ask me how I wanted to style my hair, if I liked the cut, or show me the back -- they just said it looked great and then walked away. The price also was not justified by the cut and overall experience. I was also not happy with the Covid precautions, or lack of. No one wore a mask and they tried to tell me that it's okay b/c "everyone" is vaccinated (but how do they know if all the clients are?) At my normal salon, everyone is masked up and they seat the customers far apart, which was not what happened here. The place also gave a "I am too cool for school" vibe which was alienating, so I will not be returning.

I'm new to the area and finding a new stylist has been tricky (I actually drove back to my town in…read moreConnecticut a couple of times because I hadn't been able to find the right person here). That nonsense ends today. After reading tons of reviews and doing a crazy amount of research, I had my first appointment at Mint this morning. And I am here to tell you that I am not just happy, but THRILLED. Before scheduling my appointment, the folks at Mint asked loads of questions about my likes and dislikes, my hair type, and all sorts of other things. Based on my answers, they paired me with Danielle. And they hit the nail right on the head. After I'd scheduled, she texted me so she could see pictures of my hair now, get a sense of who I was, and more. And when I got there this morning, she took such care to ensure I would walk out of the salon feeling like a million bucks. And that's exactly what happened. Thank you, Danielle (and thank you, Mint)!!

I ended up getting my roots bleached and darkened to a dark brunette color (only at the scalp, not all over head, more like a partial highlight) and then a glaze put over my hair to complete the look. My girl had to glaze my hair 3x because it was not getting dark enough. I walked out with no caramel, no auburn and no definition. I spent nearly $183.00 for this service. I called and told them how unsatisfied I was. The next day when I washed my hair - nearly all the glaze washed out and I looked like Ronald McDonald - a nice orange. In all fairness, they offered to correct the color and stated they would put more glaze on it. I told them glaze was not going to get the results I wanted and had consulted 3 other hairstylists who stated glaze was not the answer. I needed a FULL HIGHLIGHT with low lights added as well. There was no other discussion or consultation with a stylist other than who was at the front desk - I was just relayed messages through the Front Desk. I asked about refund since they were not going to offer me anything than a glaze that had already not worked. They said they would only refund me $40 which is the cost of the glaze they thought would correct my hair. So I spent nearly $200 and got $40 back. I did not get what I asked for in the first place. Then I had to go spend another $200 to get my hair color fixed. Due to this poor experience, I had to cancel an appointment for a cut and go somewhere else to get my hair cut as well. I felt I paid high end prices for beginner color services. The Front Desk ladies were very courteous and polite. They apologized for my poor experience. Overall, I do not recommend, although my friend goes to Paige and gets a really sharp cut and color which looks awesome. Not putting my stylist on blast. If you decide to go to Mint and want a color that is complicated - ask for the most experienced colorist.
