They were timely, organized and always followed through. Luke was here most days, checking on the job, his workers were hardworking and on time everyday working until dark. My experience with KLM has been the best I have had with a contractor. I was informed about what was going to happen as the job progressed , which I found very helpful and the best part was they always followed through. Because of this they gained my confidence soon after they started the project. The job is now finished, they did a fantastic job, this is from someone who is a perfectionist. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who is considering a home renovation.

Unfortunately this quickly changed once our project started, they were unable to manage a construction schedule and deliver on their proposed project timeline. Furthermore they had an everchanging group of subcontracts performing the work with little to no oversight from KLM, including an incident in which several items were stolen from our property during their job. Given their high price and subpar workmanship I would not recommend nor do business with these clowns again.

Listen, the pool itself was beautiful once it was finally completed (until a blower pipe for the…read morespa blew underground a couple months after opening...which was finally fixed after quite a long time deciphering the problem). The entire build process was a complete mess. I should've known there would be issues when the first day, the project manager asked me if I had a gas man for the gas plumbing. Then later on, somehow the entire outdoor kitchen which was included in the customer approved design, disappeared when sent for permits. Then came a pause in the project to get a new design and permitting. All the while, the owner was nearly impossible to get in touch with and when you do, you get a lot of 'I'll get with my people and we'll figure out what happened'. This is just a few of the speed bumps we had to cross to finally be done with this build. If you're ok being your own project manager, maybe this company is good for you. But if your expecting an all inclusive experience...I'd look elsewhere.

I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.
