I still needed to get insurance, title change and registration responsibilities. Now I could easily bust out my disability card and get infront if the crazy lines at DMV but that's in this case isn't the point. My point is the quality of workpersonship. I heard thru a friend about Van Ross. I walked in and was greeted with a smile. Met Lisa, she was very patient with me and all my questions and lack of understanding of process and my insurance details. She fit me in with a low cost insurance rate that fit my needs took care of all my registration and title change in a flash. I wish everyone can experience this great customer care values Van Ross provides. Local and person to person. A call you speak with her, not some recording. I wish all businesses had these qualities Van Ross has. Makes all the sacrifices overseas worth it when customer care, quality and respect is provided in our daily business encounters.     I had walked into this business earlier today and the staff was very friendly. However, halfway…read morethrough my policy the owner had walked in arguing with a different gentleman. I am not sure what it was about but the owner seemed to be so out of hand that I never want to have a policy there. If he can become that angry in his place of business; I would never have to resolve a policy issue with this mans company. I have since gotten issuance from another branch. Just cant trust a company run by an owner who cant control his temper.

He has a loud, talkative, joke telling personality, to draw in customers. He knows almost nothing about the product he's selling you (out front) and what he does know, he won't tell you until the day you call to make a claim and then he knows just enough to strongly dissuade you from making that claim. Did you know that farmers insurance won't cover you for damage caused from an exploding copper water pipe if it's 35 years old? Those are ancient pipes! Didn't you know that? Too old to be covered! Staff knows that but he'll keep mum about it and happily collect your money for years and then just as happily decline your plumbing claim. Did you know that if you have a rental property or you take a long vacation, and your insured property is vacant for more than 30 days Farmers won't cover you for anything that happens to it? Not fire, not vandalism, not rain damage. Staff does! But he won't tell you about it until you have a covered loss. Oops sorry, not covered. But he will happily keep taking your premium money. Did you know if you have proof of vandalism in the form of eye-witnesses and a written confession from the person who did it, Farmers will not cover you for the damage they did to your house and they will not abrogate on your behalf (submit a claim to the vandal's insurance company)? Staff does! But if you call to make a claim, he will GUESS what you're going to say before you say it and cut you off before you can finish your sentence, to deny you. Then he will put you on hold and take any other calls that come in and leave you there waiting. But he will talk to you all afternoon if you don't have any complaints or claims. He's just that kind of happy guy!
