We reserved our filming time months in advance to give ourselves the best opportunity to have a successful production and to not interfere with other scheduled productions. I love all the sets we were able to use plus the huge parking space. The price was fair for both parties. My team were very happy with the studio and its location! I recently moved into R5 about a month ago and have genuinely enjoyed my experience! I used to…read morerehearse at their studio in DTLA and enjoy the fact that they are both 24-7 and have the ability to go in and rehearse whatever time it may be. The building itself is surrounded by other local businesses as well as local homes. So far I haven't had any problems with any of the neighbors and usually stop playing music around 11pm. I'm towards the center of the building and I'm glad we haven't heard any complaints! However it might be something to be aware of if you're looking for a room towards the back of the studio and what time you plan on playing. I have seen a number of rooms in different sizes available and I hear different people playing from producers to percussion driven bands so the variety is there! The management is very accommodating and have been very helpful in so many ways. The place is usually kept pretty clean and well taken care of. There have been a few issues with the toilets and the AC but they always seem to be taken care of pretty quickly. They just opened recently too so it seems like they're just getting all the details together. The place itself feels safe and secure plus everyone seems really easy to get along with. I'm really happy with the room I got with my bandmates! While the rooms aren't fully soundproof, It hasn't been an issue so far because of everyone else's schedule and the placement of musicians. Should anything change I'll update my post but for now it's simply something else to be aware of. I do enjoy the sound of our room! They also have their own parking lot and gate. They do ask you to pay for an electronic switch but you can park in the nearby streets as well. If you want the added security of parking inside that's there and you can always open it from inside if you need to pick up a load of equipment. All in all, I've really enjoyed rehearsing at Royal Rehearsal and find the convenience very appealing. They treat me very well and provide a great space to come and play music! They have mentioned adding a few different things to the studio so I'll be looking forward to that soon. Till then, here's to playing even more music!

The building is very secure with lots of cameras and keypads for all the doors. Easy and secure parking. My room is excellent--spacious, bright and clean. I've rented rooms in several rehearsal studios in both LA and NYC and this one is the best I've found. There are producers, bands, and individual musicians in the building. Highly recommend this spot for your rehearsal, practice, or production needs!

Central to LA. 24 hour access is crucial for late night gigs. Jay, the manager, is a chill guy. He'll get on your ass if you disrespect the place like leave garbage in the lobby or break the rules, but he looks out for everyone and has always been reasonable. The spot is great to store your gear, have meetings, rehearse your music, record and produce music during quite hours, and make connections. It gets hot in the summer, but the rooms have AC. Overall this place is a gem. It has allowed me to grow my music, my business and my brand.

After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...
