Mariachi band!
Lindsay H.

My family of three throughly enjoyed our most recent visit. Little hidden restaurant that is worth the visit. We were quickly served chips and salsa and a bean dip of some sort. Soon after ordering we were lucky enough to be serenaded by a mariachi band! They even came directly to our table and took requests. Very special. We got the queso, fajitas for two with rice and kiddo got quesadilla and fries. Everything was so delicious. Surprisingly even the fries were perfect! Great service too. One of if not our favorite Mexican place in town!

Francisco's Mexican Fresh-taurant! Dining a la carte tonight, that is, alone without my wingwoman Babelicious Fab Fiancée! When I'm forced to such extreme measures(LOL) I must ensure that every moment is valued and treasured. Each dining decision must count! Well, at least I should enjoy the meal and the moment, without having my exotic beauty to gaze upon.......and I found that at Francisco's! After reading the reviews, I felt confident I was in for a treat. Thanks fellow reviewers! It was 7:45 on a tepid autumn evening. Typically tropical. Slipping through the strip mall portal, I was immediately accepted and seated. I noted just a few other tables taken at this time. Lending to a nice, quiet, enjoyable solitude with forthcoming food.... Ah! That omnipresent Mexican delight of Chips & Salsa was presented for my nibbling titillation. And nibble I did! With great titillation! I found the holy grail of appetizing pleasure. The chips were perfectly crisp with just the right hint of salt and no greasy aftertaste. The salsa? I now realize how this humble onion, celantro and tomato treat could be co-named with a seductive and sultry dance....I could feel the beat, the compas... They also provide a small plate of refried beans to dredge your chips through. Interesting touch, I'm hooked! While tastebuds eagerly teased, I opted for the combo meal with 3 choices. My choices were a tamale, a burrito and a chimichanga. I was soon to discover, Excellent choices! Each tasty morsel provided a mouthful of pizzazz. Fresh ingredients cannot hide. No need for condiments or additional salt to bring out that earthy indulgent flavor. Wow! I found myself ooing and ahhing at each bite. (another reason I was thankful the place wasn't packed!)... So there you have it. The unabashed and wholehearted story of my premiere introduction to Francisco's Mexican Fresh-taurant! Please tell them John, and his BFF sent ya! And be ready to salsa!

The interior for Francisco's Mexican Restaurant. It is very simple yet clean.

Tex-Mex restaurants not only in Melbourne and Palm Bay, Florida, but anywhere in the United States are now a dime a dozen. Though delicious, it is not authentic Mexican food per se. That is why I love Francisco's Mexican Restaurant. They serve Tex-Mex but they alsoserve true authentic Mexican food, something that is rare here in Melbourne and Palm Bay, Florida. For those who don't know, real Mexican food is different from Tex-Mex as it lacks in a lot of sauces and cheese, and it uses more sour ingredients like lime, cilantro, and lemon. The assembly of such food is also simplistic in nature as it isn't "loaded" like Tex-Mex. Also, refried beans, guacamole, and sour creamare almost non-existent. Francisco's has options that utilize these details of authentic Mexican food. Located in the same shopping strip mall as Thrifty Produce and LA Fitness, it is easy to spot as it is close to The Egg & I and Smoothie King. Upon entering, you'll notice the place is simplistic in nature. It is along with the restroom clean. For this visit, I went with my friend Patrick. We ordered numerous dishes to try out but stuck with the lunch specials. I got the burrito, taco, and tostado combo. He got the chimichanga as he is a Deadpool fan. Nevertheless, the food was good and piled high to the brim, kind of like Fiesta Azteca back in the day. Through take-out, I tried the authentic Mexican and it is truly authentic. Sourness and bitterness are flavors you can taste in the food and it isn't overpowered by sauces and cheese. All and all, a worthwhile meal south of the border. Ultimately, I will give this place five out of five stars. It has great service, great food, and the place is clean. I am sure there are times when the experience is lacking but I won't fault the restaurant for that as no place, even five star places, are perfect everytime, all the time.

Finally a great Mexican restaurant nearby! I had the Enchiladas de Espinacas (spinach enchiladas) & loved every bite!

So far the best I have had in Brevard. Small but nice. Wish they had a liquor license. Would love to have a margarita.

Came for an earlyish dinner and did not realize it was happy hour. Lots of specials on drinks and apps to choose from. House margaritas were good and a bit potent :) The burrito loco was had by two of our party. One with queso and one with red sauce. PROTIP. Order the burrito with birria meat and be amazed. Tender and flavorful off menu option. The fajita meal was huge as expected. And we had leftovers. The meat and chicken was very flavorful and the veg was rendered enough to soften them but keep the flavor. Sweet onions and bell peppers were perfect. Do not drive by this gem of a restaurant.

We told her we love trying new things and asked for her recommendations, and she absolutely delivered. She helped us narrow everything down, and honestly, every single thing we ordered was so good. The pork belly al pastor, and the el queso shrimp bravo were all incredible. Super fun, unique dishes and the presentation made it even better. She had no idea we were in town for a funeral, but this ended up being such a needed pick-me-up for our family. The vibe, the food, and Sofi's energy just turned our whole night around. If you go, definitely ask for Sofi. She is the best.

Not sure why this place wasn't packed because of the food and drink quality was amazing. For drinks, I ordered the Cantarito Jalisco and boy it was strong. They don't mess around with their alcohol. While it was strong, it was still tasty and it came along with mini Reposado bottle where you dump the contents into your drink. If you like strong drinks like me, I recommend this one. My MIL and hubby had a margarita and I don't remember what it was called but man was it a HUGE margarita! You definitely need to pace yourself with this one. I definitely want come back for happy hour! For our entree, I ordered the Enchiladas Guadalajara. It was delicious. I'm such an enchilada girl and this one landed in my top 3. It comes with 3 shredded chicken enchiladas topped with queso fresco and sour cream. Soooo yummy. It comes with a side of yellow rice and salad. I want to try different items on the menu next time but this one was a good first choice. Overall, the vibe inside the restaurant, cleanliness, and staff attention exceeded expectations. Thanks Agave D'Oro!

I love the large wood pineapples on the wall. There are a few chairs and tables, but most of the restaurant is filled with booths. There is also some seating at the bar. Service: The hostess was quiet but helped us immediately with a booth. The waitress was very nice and suffered through my terrible Spanish without a wince. Food: The food was hit and miss, but nothing was really bad. Chips and salsa: yum! I loved their salsa... and not every Mexican restaurant has good salsa. Theirs was the blended kind, versus the chunky kind. Great flavor with very little spice. I prefer mine spicier but I get they have to please the masses. Queso: loved the queso! It was a white queso and it was a little spicy, which I loved. Not as impressed with the main meal. Overall: We liked it, but will order different food to try something new.
