Small generic place in a shopping center nothing fancy, just good food with fair portions. Prices are about the same as other Mexican places in the area. While trying to find a decent Mexican restaurant in Melbourne I stumbled upon this place on my way home from work. It's o-k, not great but not terrible. I get my food to go and they put my enchilada and taco on top of the beans so by the time I get home it's just one big mess and my taco is soggy. This place is extremely over priced for Mexican food. I'm used to a $6 dollar burrito in California, here a Carne asada burrito will cost you $14 bucks! This place was recommended by a friend so we tried it out. It's well decorated & clean. Service was good albeit slow. You start with chips & salsa & bean dip - the salsa was a bit runny for our tasting. Also ordered the queso and that was disappointingly runny as well! We were not overly impressed with the food. The meat (ground beef & shredded beef) could use more seasoning. And they served the taco on top of the rice so the shell was soggy. Also the prices seem high for what you get. Having just moved to the area recently, my husband and I wanted some mexican food for dinner. We saw the good reviews for Francisco's and gave it a whirl. If this is the best mexican food in the area, then we are crap out of luck!! I have never had scrambled eggs as a chile relleno. We invited friends to join us for lunch based on the reviews..huge mistake. My husband ordered a draft...got a bottle instead at a higher price. Our friend had not decided on which beer he wanted but got one brought to him anyway... The food was bland and the refried beans were disgusting to look at [tasteless as well] The "hot" sauce was not anywhere near hot and the chips were greasy tasting. Next time we will scout out a place before inviting guests. The only plus to this place was that the food was hot in temperature. This place is great! We've been there three times now, and have never been disappointed. The minute we walk in, we are seated, by Armando, or Emily. Chips, salsa, and beans are complimentary, and really tasty. Today we went for lunch, and after being seated by Emily, we were waited on by Mary, the owner. A party of three, we ordered from the lunch menu, the Chimichanga, the Mexican burrito, and a combo of an Enchilada and a taco. The food came out fast, and piping hot, and was once again delicious. Not somewhere you want to eat. Called ahead wanted a particuliar dish. Fresh Snapper Fried with no batter prepared whole with head and tail. I was assured that was what I would enjoy. We arrived 30 min later to the same person who had answered the phone. She explained that they had none other than the Talapia. We had talked about that on the phone. I do not like Talapia. She assured me this was a dish I would like. I also asked about the Sangria she assured me is was fresh made. We arrived to find that the dish was not available. We decided then to have the fish corn taco's. They then brought the chips. Discusting! Reheated, greazzzzzzzy pieces of ick. Then the Sangria............ Tasted like coolaid... no fruit or original flavor of fruit. Discuating. All toll we told the waitress who was NOT at fault other than not knowing ahead of time when we called in of thier lack of fish that all was fresh. I recended the order. No manager was to be seen, no support of staff. We left......... my wife and I left hungry as we had come and now angry. Me, as I'd been misslead and nobody to complain to or make right with the order and my wife angry at me for being an ass for not eating crap I could get a taco bell. My wife, quite at my dissapointemnt went back not to talk to the owner but to give a 'hand out' to the waitress whom she felt sorry for. I was not rude. I called ahead. After reading the reviews we decided to try Franscisco's for lunch today. The reviews are correct, this place is great. The chips are hot and the salsa is very good. The service was polite and prompt. I drink diet soda and it is nice to find a place that doesn't make it taste watered down. The lunch specials are priced well with a generous amount of food that actually has flavor! The Verde sauce is terrific and the steak burrito had a ton of flavor. The dining room was very clean. We were in and out in about 25 minutes which makes it a great choice for lunch. read more

I have lived in Melbourne my entire life and frequent this establishment, I came in on a slow day and was greeted with attitude, I asked a question about the enchiladas coming with sauce- because they recently changed their menu and it no longer specifies if the enchiladas have sauce, the lady rolled her eyes and said yes I said okay I'm sorry it just didn't specify. I then received my enchiladas which were made with corn tortillas, another non specification; and politely asked if I could have flour because that's what I typically receive when I get this dish. The waitress-Nancy, then stood at the table and argued loudly with me and asked if I have ever been here before because that's how they always come, told me they would not be giving me flour and continued with her attitude. As an ex waitress and human being in general, I am absolutely appalled with her behavior towards customers and can't believe she would argue about such a small mix up instead of just handling the issue. read more
