I understand that dive bars aren't known for top-tier service, but this experience was beyond frustrating. Our waitress never once checked on us--we had to flag her down every single time, which made ordering drinks and food a chore rather than a relaxing night out. But honestly, the worst part of the night wasn't even the service. It was the fact that a couple brought their newborn to the bar and stayed from 8 PM to midnight. With loud music blasting, they passed the baby around and parade it around on the dance floor, never feeding the child once, but had no problem changing it on the air hockey table. It was disturbing to watch, and frankly, it made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. A bar is no place for a newborn, especially late at night in that kind of environment. The only saving grace of the night was the band, Trans Am--they were absolutely phenomenal. They put on a great performance, but unfortunately, the energy in the bar was completely off. Nobody was dancing or really engaging with the music, which was a shame because they deserved a much better crowd. If management allows this kind of thing to happen, I don't see myself coming back. There are plenty of other dive bars that at least provide decent service and an environment where I don't have to question someone's parenting choices all night read more

My brother and I wanted Buffalo wings. He suggested this was one of the better places to get wings in the area. He was correct. Service, was not great - they had a bartender trying to cover a packed bar and the entire floor. Awhile later, it appeared an employee came in for lunch and decided she needed to help out. Another server appeared a time later, but the place was packed and the servers were overwhelmed. We ordered our wings and asked for them to be as HOT as they could make them. Unbeknownst to us, the cook had an ace up his sleeve and he pulled it out just for us. Normally, when people ask for HOT wings, they get wings smothered in Buffalo sauce - hot for the masses, not for the wing/heat aficionados and those who do wing challenges. We were surprised - that ACE was a popular hot sauce among wing challenge guys such as myself, and we got our lips mouths and throats lit up like Clark Griswald's house on Christmas Eve. Mad Dog 357 had been added to the Buffalo wing sauce and we ate that up - and if I might sound like a Southern TV preacher for a minute... it made our SCALPS sweat, it made our NOSES run, it made our EYES leak a little - we CLAIMED it was allergies, but NO,I have to tell the TRUTH! It was really that intense but gratifying PAIN generated by 357,000 Scoville units of feral madness that gave the DEVIL himself a run for his money. We looked like we were ready to have a prayin' for mercy revival - and it was HOT HOT HOT but OH so good! I'll be back for more next time I visit my little brother. read more

Fast Breaks is your average pub style joint with food that has better quality than you would expect. I stopped there while I was having tired placed on my car. The decor is nothing to brag about, but they have several TVs for those looking to watch the game. The bar has a decent amount of seats so finding a spot is not tough during lunch, but I am sure is more challenging on football Sunday. I had the buffalo chicken fingers, french friesa nd cole slaw. You can tell the chicken is battered fresh and the fires are homemade as well. The buffalo sauce was really good and I believe is a special recipe of the head chef. Cole slaw had a nice cruch to it and was not overdressed. I was there for a about an hour and I was happy with the food I received. The reason they get 4-stars is because the bar tenders seem to gravitate towards their regulars and check in on you very little unless you flag them down for another drink. Plus if you go on a Sunday there is a lot of people who are submitting football pool picks for their locally run league. I remember those days where I was a part of one and would see if my picks for the week are going to earn me any prize money. If they give as much attention to the non-regulars as they do to those handing them money and football picks, I would consider the upgrade to a 5-star pub. read more

Have been wanting to try this place for a while. This was one of the restaurant that was closed because of COVID 19. It opened again last week and as a supporter of local businesses restaurant I finally gave it a try. The fries were freshly made and not frozen a def plus for me. As a wings freak , any wings can never go wrong. These were freshly prepared and pipping hot. Nothing to complain about here. Definitely will come back . Be safe out there. A typical pub with a section of pool tables and video games. When there is not a band or a singer there is always music. The jukebox allows you to pick your own. A fair amount of open space for those who want to shake a leg, either to a band or the Juke. A wide variety of pub style food is offered. The difference here is that they make most items with fresh ingredients. Most meals/sandwiches come with a choice of sides including garden salad, fries, onions rings, fresh made pub chips, excellent baked beans, or vegetable. No up charge for any of them. A week ago arrived on a Wednesday night. Burger plates with two sides were half price. Reg 9.99 for five bucks. Both the mushroom and Swiss and house burgers were top notch. Thick hand made patties, cooked to your preference. Tuesday night they offer 75 cent wings, tonight they had a singer, Don Hebert, the place was hopping. Ordered the Nachos, they came as a mega plate full loaded with chips covered in cheese, taco beef, onions, peppers, jalapeños and served piping hot with sides of Salsa and sour cream. I thoroughly enjoyed them. My wife ordered the Fast Break club. This monster sandwich was served on a house baked roll. It was piled high with meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Half came home in a box. Service was prompt. Our server checked in multiple times to make sure we were all set. Additional drinks, sour cream, and salsa arrived shortly after being requested. Being a pub, with some Tv's, music either recorded or live it can be a bit loud. For great food, a variety of entertainment and of course drinks Fast Breaks is a great choice. read more

I called to order food and they must've accidentally answered the phone, they left the phone sitting on the counter and I could hear everything going on but no one was talking to me. The regulars and staff are really friendly but can also have a tendency on too much socializing when busy causing a bit of a wait on ordering or drink replacements. This place could be better, used to be much better, but the food is hit or miss and the servers have really bad habits. Some of the menu options sound good but the execution is usually lacking. Nothing is the same twice. The worst part is the service. You never know if you'll be sitting there for a really longtime and watching all the tables that came in after you be waited on and served before you (especially, men.. the servers zero right in on men) If you are a regular, you may get pretty good service (they want that anticipated tip) But even as a regular, we don't get the service we should for the tips we leave. This comes down to one thing, I'm a female at the table with my husband so they know better than to expect flirting to earn them a bigger tip. The atmosphere is ok, there's a regular in there that controls the jukebox and skips over songs you play, so don't bother paying for music. The food could be so much better and there's no need for the service to be a gamble. The servers are trained by others with equally questionable habits so I'm not surprised they zero in on men for their survival. When I have been there. During when bands are playing there. I have had 2 bad experiences there. One night I went to the bar to get a drink and the bar tenders never acknowledged that I was there. I kept trying to get their attention to no avail. I just didn't have a beer that night. Just listened to the band. Didn't need my money anyway. Then I went another time. I had sat in a section and the waitress came to me and took my drink and food order, once my food order came out she leaned in and said "You better not walk out on me, because I will have to pay for it myself." I payed my tab at that moment she said that and then finished my food. I just stayed listening to the band. read more

Normally very good food. BUT...on a few occasions they run out of wings on there wing night! We went there tonight and they ran out of wings and tenders. We found this out after we ordered a drink and 3 sodas, you'd think they would have only charged us for the drink, what a waste of 10 dollars! read more
