We are so grateful and lucky to have had Daniel recommended to us by our local paint store! We knew immediately from meeting him he was not only deeply knowledgeable, especially about coastal painting, but hard working, trustworthy and kind. What resulted from hiring him was not only a beautifully painted home that truly exceeded all of our expectations but a wonderful experience where we learned so much as first time home owners from a very kind hearted and deeply knowledgeable professional. Daniel completed the job in the expected timeframe even with a few last minute changes and hiccups on our end when we found rotted boards. His prices were very clear, competitive and fair, he kept us informed every step of the way of cost. It was clear that transparency, value and integrity is important to him. He even worked out getting extra equipment from a family member of his that we needed when our incredibly steep roof needed jacks for safety so we wouldn't have to rent them. He made sure we were educated every step of the way, even beyond home paint (as we were doing other projects as well) which I really appreciated as new home owners. This was our first major home project, first painting project, and we felt very confident in all the choices that were made thanks to Daniel, his honesty and his expertise. I really appreciate all the time he spent answering our questions and educating us daily, as his knowledge is so broad. He educated us on what the next years will look like in our lived in paint even showing us area by area what to expect with sun exposure in various places. I really appreciated that as I wasn't sure how dark and rather unique paint like ours would weather in this climate. His last day here, when he was completely finished he even kindly gave me advice on a furniture restoration project I wanted to work on (but wasn't sure of how to get started) instead of just heading home like I'm sure he was very ready to after a long day. But that is Daniel in a nutshell for you, kindness every step of the way. As I'm sure it's pretty clear by my review, he truly went above and beyond for us, and we looked forward to seeing him every day, we were actually sad to see him go! His kindness is something that truly stands out and I think meeting him once is all you need to know you are in great hands. We have had compliments on our new house paint from everyone we know, every delivery person we get and all of our neighbors, (including a retired painter) We will continue to use and recommend Daniel for any painting needs we have. We cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, honest, hard working and knowledgeable painter!
