Cute playground in a huge park area! We're from out of town so not using the basketball courts or baseball fields of aquatic center. But - the playground area is really awesome. There's a building section (gated & covered), 2 younger kid playground structure areas (also gated & covered), and then a massive big kid area - uncovered unfortunately (so I'd go early because by 10am it's blazing hot already). This park is huge & perfect for kids and adults. There are tennis courts, basket ball court, a walking trail, a dog park is on the other side other the parking lot, an entire swim area is next door to the park, there are bathrooms and a small area that sells snacks. The playground is equip with all sorts of awesome apparatuses! It appears to be divided into three separate parks based on age. The toddler park was perfect for my little one, she didn't get bored in this park like other parks we have been to. Our favorite was the different merry go rounds, music area, pretend lemonade stand and the building blocks area, and endless areas for kids to run free and get all their energy out. We will definitely be back! read more

This is more of a review for Gayle's Trails than Frank Brown Park as a whole. However, the park is amazing. Tons of fields, a great aquatic center, plenty of parking and nice clean, stocked restrooms. We were visiting Panama City Beach on vacation and needed a spot to get a run in, and Gayle's Trails were just about 15 minutes away. There are paved trails where I live, but this trail is super nice! It was so nice to be able to run 8 miles and only having to cross traffic once. The trail is well-maintained, nice and flat, with great signs (both for distance and route). If you're looking for a place to get your run in Panama City Beach, I can't recommend this trail highly enough. read more

Great dog park, especially when vacationing in PCB. Small dog with separate large dog area. Sand area and well manicured grass. When we went there was also a plastic dog pool which is great on hot summer days. There are a few benches and a covered pavilion. In addition to the dog park there are walking paths, baseball fields, playgrounds, and pools. Awesome area overall. read more

This is a very nice facility, with lots of options - outdoor pool, park, baseball fields, hitting cages, indoor gym (open for hoops Tuesday and Thursday only), and outdoor hoops. The outdoor hoops area is VERY WINDY, just know that in advance. read more

My family stopped here on the way out of Panama City Beach for a six hour drive so that my almost three year old could get some wiggles out. We couldn't believe the number of playgrounds! We stayed in one of the fenced-in AstroTurf, and my daughter had a blast. In fact, it was hard for her to leave, even though she had worked up a sweat! She slept about two and a half hours on the way home, so it did the trick we were hoping for. The only problems: we couldn't find a bathroom an easy/quick walk from the playground. We're towards the end of potty training, but when the preschooler is playing, potty needs are announced with little time to look around! We also couldn't believe how many parents were leaving the gates to fenced-in play areas open. That fence is a great way for parents of children with disabilities to feel a little more at ease with their children playing in public. Leaving it open is lazy and disrespectful. read more

I reviewed previously. This is an excellent park. It gave my grandson a place to burn his energy. He met kids that wanted to play.

This park has all kinds of sports stuff (I know that's incredibly unhelpful, but I'm not exactly sporty). It has play grounds. There is a restroom with some vending machines. There are walking trails. We went for the dog park. There is a larger fenced in area for all dogs and a smaller area for smaller dogs or dogs that don't want all of the commotion of the big area. Each are has benches for humans. There are hoses and bowls so the dogs have plenty of water. There are obstacles for the dogs to do and plenty of balls for playing fetch. my only complaint is that the fences aren't very high. A large dog could hop a 3 ft fence pretty easily if they felt motivated to do so. read more

Seems like a really nice city park. I went there with my yellow lab because I saw that they had a fenced in dog park and my girl needed to burn off some energy. Nice dog park but a bit muddy due to some rain last week. The park has more than most city parks I have been to. A really nice looking swimming pool, a kids pool with a playground and water slides, well maintained baseball fields, multiple tennis courts are the things that I noticed while driving through. I am only giving three stars this review because I haven't had a chance to really check things out well. I'll update accordingly after a few more visits. Overall, and based on my one visit, it seems very nice there. read more

My review is specifically for the Panama City Beach Aquatic center at Frank Brown Park. I went to this pool on May 19th 2013. Overall it is a really nice facility. The staff was very attentive and the facility (including the bathrooms) were clean. Pricing was a little high for individual daily admission. I find it a little unusual that the price of a 2 year old or infant is still $5.00. Most pools will have a cheaper price for kids 2 and under. The kiddie area is a lot of fun. I brought a 2 year old who didn't want to go down the slides by himself. No problem! What was great was, the kiddie slides (not the big kid slide) adults are allowed to go down with them. We went down the dueling red slide and blue slide too many times to count. The surface of the bottom of the kiddie area is awesome. I am not sure what it is made of, but it doesn't scratch the kids knees or bottom if the scoot on it. The children's area has several water like fountains, a rainbow that squirts water on the kids, and what seems to be an area in the water that is like several shower heads squirting on you for fun. Of course there are two kid slides. One twirling blue enclosed slide and a double dueling red slide. It's really nice for younger children because it doesn't get too deep in this area. I would recommend this Aquatic Center to locals and visitors. I had a great time and so did my nephew. I would visit again. read more

The Park is right next to our crib so we head off for early morning Tennis, 4 hard courts, first come first served. There is a fishing pond - must have a small child with you to fish!. Swimming pool, main pool divided into lanes, water aerobics Mon and Tues, pool heated to 83 which is very comfortable in November. $8 to swim, $2 to watch. There is an area in the park for concerts and various other activities, lots of space to cycle round. All in all two thumbs up for us. read more

We are here for a baseball tournament for a 13 yr old boys travel team. I've seen a lot of baseball over the past year or so... This is a nice park! Frank Brown is easy to find and the field are well kept. The restrooms were clean, which is always a huge plus. They even have a special area for dogs. Great park. read more

only reason I'm taking a star off is due to you not being able to bring in your own inflatable gear for the pool (must coast guard certified) and due to the play area not having shade so some things were hot to touch as it would be on a hot 90 degree day. You can buy floatation gear there but I am unsure of price as we decided to forego the equipment and play around in the kid pool. Otherwise we had a lot of fun. I look forward to bringing my kids back. They had so much fun one didn't want to leave lol. read more

Absolutely nice place for families, field trips, etc. went on field trip with grand daughter and classmates. They are very alert and help watch out for your children at all times. There is so much for everyone to do and enjoy. Really recommend it! read more
