No information on strict policy as a tourist and traveling out of town paid almost 400 bucks was one minute late and now can't get a refund even though we got no service at all. I was not too happy about the customer service we got at check in. The ones that checked us in had no customer service skills they looked annoyed. Want a fun thing to do while you're in Destin? This has been on my bucket list for years. Finally we got to do it. We arrived early for our departure at 9:30. Enjoyed meeting the crew, Dave and Brandon. Once we were given a short safety instructions we were on our way. We just happened to be the second couple that went up. I was a little nervous, but easily relaxed once I got up in the air. You do have an option of getting the photo package at $40. Well worth it as they take 40-50 pics while you're in the air. Definitely a great experience and really enjoyed the company of the other passengers along with the crew. I can say that I would definitely recommend this company to do your first flight. Parasail was nice. WARNING......don't get the picture package not worth it!!!! $40 bucks and we only have about 4 pictures bc the others are very dark. Also they advertise that they upload to your phone when I asked he immediately started saying that I could do it myself and when he did upload them to my phone he uploaded about 4/5 pictures and some where dark. I took pics for ppl on the boat who didn't but buy the package and my pics where better and brighter then the package I paid for AND I have an Android. Also when you see their advertising those nice bright pics will not be the ones you get. Decided to finally check parasailing off my bucket list . I am so happy that this was able to come Into fruition for me. I've always enjoyed thrills and what's better than water activities . If you are to ever book here , be lucky if Boa and Dave are your guides . They are quite friendly and professional . You spend 8-10 minutes in the air and you can have your photo taken while high in the sky . I of course was nervous so the time spent in the air was perfect for me ! The boat ride is pretty fast and fun in addition to the nice music selection choice . There are perhaps 8 others on the boat and everyone has a partner . Jake and Jeff were awesome in leading our group on the water for parasailing! Super fun and not scary at all, so don't be intimidated. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish we got more time in the air for what we paid. My boyfriend and I went with another party that was a family of ~15 so definitely understandable that we had to take turns so that everyone could go, but wish we could've gotten more than 5-10 minutes in the air. read more

You never know who you're going to get but we were greeted by our Captain Dave and we instantly knew it was going to be fun! Dave and Austin were very accommodating and wanted to make sure we were going to have fun! On our way out, we saw a pod of dolphins. This company came to us recommended and it was a perfect trip. Jeremy and Beau did a great job. Props to them since we were the last trip out for the day and I knew that they had to have been tired from dealing with tourists all day. But it never showed. Super fun and safe trip with great music playing the entire time. Never once felt unsafe. I also recommend getting the photo package. They literally hand you the SD card so you have all the photos. The name gives it all away--my boyfriend and I were "chuted" up in the sky with the help of Captain Jeremy and Chase! They know what they're doing, giving us simple safety instructions and their jokes and local recommendations made their company amazing out in the beautiful sea. Super awesome guys!! Brad and Ike are a hilarious team. They are super chill and laid back and like to joke a lot. This was my first time parasailing and I was nervous. The ascent was super smooth and so was the descent. It's more mental than anything. It doesn't feel like a roller coaster at all. There were 16 of us on the boat and it took about 1.5 hours. You can do up to three people at a time. Around $50 a person. You can also just go along for the ride as an observer for $25. Glad hubby and I did it!! read more

If you're seeking more of a thrill on your beach vacation, skip the scooters and head for parasailing! Based on the great reviews of Just Chute Me on TripAdvisor, I insisted that the group from my family use this company and no other for our parasailing needs. We paid $50 per person, which is the deal they are currently running and a price we found to be reasonable, although I did not shop around. The captain and crew were fantastic. They put my younger siblings at ease with their safety briefing and easy-breezy attitude. Parasailing itself was really fun! There's nothing you have to do except sit and enjoy the views. You take off and return from the back of the boat. The Just Chute Me boat has a 800ft long cord which means you'll probably fly around 400-600 ft in the air. It looked to me like we were way higher than all the other parasails that were flying around. They make sure to wiggle the cord when it's at it's full length, and then one more time when they're bringing you back in. They also dip you into the water at one point (you can opt not to do that). The entire ride lasts about 10 minutes. The crew was very happy to take pictures of us on the boat even though they were selling a photo package. Although, I really wished I would have taken my camera up with me. It sounds like a stupid idea, but they will hook your camera wristband to the lifejacket so you don't drop it. The views are so worth it!! Plus, you can take fun pictures of your flying buddy. I highly recommend you take the camera up and- if you're in a group- have someone else take pictures of you from the boat. I'm not sure what you're supposed to tip the boat crew, but I settled with $5/person (we were a 6-person group). We were out for about an hour and a half. Part of our party did have some trouble finding the place- it's a tiny shack right on the water- but if you follow the directions provided on their website you can't get lost! Bravo to the whole team, and I would whole-heartedly recommend. read more

My experience was not great. After everybody on the boat got a chance to parasail, my husband and I were the only two left. I was told that the wind was too dangerous for me and my husband to go up. Please note that we were the only black people on the boat and when I said something about that, I was told that we could go up only if I got someone else to go up with us. I asked if anybody would go up with us and got several guests to volunteer. Then I was told by Jeremy that it had to be one of the guests already hooked up that was on their way down. We did get a chance to go up but the whole experience had a very bad vibe and I will never use this company again. Please note that Jeremy and Brandon were the associates responsible for my dissatisfaction. I heard that Jeremy said some nasty things while we were in the air and no one enjoyed the trip. The boyfriend and I booked a parasailing trip with Just Chute Me the Saturday we were heading down to Okaloosa Island for our beach vacation. Just Chute Me offers complimentary parking as well which was very convenient because parking is a little limited. I did the booking online and once time came, our appointment check in was quick and smooth. added the photo package onto our booking as well, although I was skeptical about how clear they would turn out considering we're on a constantly moving surface. This was our first time ever parasailing so we were a little nervous, but everything was smooth sailing the moment we floated off the boat. We had such an amazing time, we decided to book for parasailing again the day after next. My boyfriend and I didn't think it was possible, but our second go was even better than our first. Captain Dave was a blast, he was friendly, personable, and really made the boat ride. On our way back he even drove over and showed us dolphins that were showing up. We also had Chase again to help us get settled in to parasail. I also just want to give a special thanks to Chase for doing such an awesome job with the pictures. Our first time to Destin and one of my party is an old geezer, we were taken on a smooth fun ride. Joe was our captain, driver and super nice. Joe recommended we go early so not much wind which makes a difference. Yes Destin had a couple of parasailing deaths last year due to high winds. This is parasailing tethered to a boat not the kind where you land in the ocean like we have done before. We made a reservation, showed up at their kiosk which is visibly marked, gave them our coupons,signed the waivers and got on the boat. Not necessary to pay $25 for their photo package. Just have someone shoot photos with your iPhone. We got super photos that way. Wear a swimsuit as you will get wet. I did not take my camera up with me but would have been fine with my underwater camera they want you to have both hands on the side of the swing. Yes you can see the sharks down below. It only goes up 500 feet. You can tandem with 1, 2 or 3 people, feels like you are in the air 10 minutes. We had done this before and stayed in the air much longer but watching dolphins on the side of the boat is fun too. They do recommend you leave a tip, go on a light stomach if you don't like the wave bumps as your neighbor does not want to wear your Bloody Mary! read more

My husband was in Destin for business and I was there to tag along so I figured I would look up something to do for the one day he had free and I'm sooooo glad we chose to parasail! It was a first for both and Just Chute Me was one of the many places we could have picked because Destin is full of places that offer water activities. I'm just so happy that we chose Just Chute Me. The name alone was cute and clever! Finding the location was easy, they have huge signs that you can't miss when driving either way. The little booth is nice and colorful and check in was a breeze. We filled out the disclosure not their iPad and took a picture. We also opted to have the photo package which was an additional 20$ and you get to take the memory card home with you! Our boat was filled with 5 couples, one triple, and a spectator. We had Brad and Ike and they were great!!! It was a beautiful day out and we were out there for about an hour and half until every group was finished. We were in the sky for about 10-12 minutes each which felt like an hour (only because I'm terrified of heights). We all clapped for each other as we landed safely back on the boat. We brought our go pro up with us but I will spare you the videos as it was just me screaming and laughing the whole time! They ask you if you want to be dipped at the end: toes, knees, hips, or neck. We opted for our toes and they maneuvered that perfectly. Our boat ride was smooth, going up 300-400 ft was awesome, staff was great, we would definitely recommend Just Chute me!!!
