After paying the invoice I requested a quote to complete the work, It's been weeks and they still haven't responded to multiple emails and phone calls. As of today, I am actually still waiting for a call. If you need a repair or replacement I would suggest calling someone who is more attentive to customer needs.

Had a new house built by Synergy, they use Ranger for the A/C installers. I had the service through…read moreranger to maintain the air conditioning system. We had an issue where the unit leaked water all over the ceiling on our brand new house and did water damage to the drywall. None of the failsafe items worked and the A/C continued to run and drip water while we were not home. As soon as I found the issue I shut the unit off and called ranger. There are three failsafe parts on the unit and none of them worked. The tech that arrived told me he didn't understand why they did not work and also said that the last guy that was here to do the maintenance did not clear the lines and is no longer working there. They had a meeting with the owner that never spoke to me directly and the owner told them he's not covering any repairs. I told them that the unit was under warranty and that the failsafe's did not work. After a while going back and forth I told them I didn't want to get a lawyer involved that they should do the right thing and they said that the conversation was over and we can no longer speak to each other without lawyers and hung up. I called back to cancel the 6 month service contract that I just renewed since they said they could no longer talk to me and I am still waiting on my refund. Beware of installation warranties.

My first step when hiring a company for a major project is always to read reviews. We received…read morequotes from two different companies, and when this company came out, the representative explained that they have been serving Port St. Lucie for a long time and that the business is still independently owned rather than being sold to a larger corporation. That's something I really appreciate because it's becoming harder and harder to find locally owned companies these days. The only frustrating part of the process was getting an updated quote. We had waited too long, and the original estimate had expired. My husband called the office several times, and each time they had to take down all of his information again because it apparently had never been entered into the system. That seemed a bit unusual, as I would expect everyone to have access to the same customer information. After discussing our options with the salesman, we decided to move forward. The installation was scheduled just a few days later. We had both the inside and outside units replaced. The crew arrived around 9:00 a.m. and finished shortly after 2:00 p.m. One of the heater components that was delivered was incorrect, but we were informed that the technician would return with the correct part. The installers were friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. I chatted with them a few times throughout the day, and they worked efficiently to get everything completed. The installation also included a new thermostat, with the cost. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our electric bill will drop significantly. Our old system seemed to run nonstop, and I'm hoping this new, more efficient unit will make a noticeable difference. With the energy savings, I'm optimistic that the investment will pay for itself within a few years.

Our A/C stopped cooling. Was making awful sounds outside, no cool air inside. I had 4 other…read morecompanies come by to diagnose the problem and give me quotes. All of them determined there is a huge leak in my evap coil, and I would need to get an entire new system for thousands of dollars. A/C Doctors was the only one to realise there was something else amiss, and to take the time and properly diagnose the issue. Turns out it was a plugged up valve. They fixed the valve for a fraction of the price of the other companies, and now my A/C is running ice cold. If you need help with your A/C but don't know who to call, this is it, this is the company you are looking for. Knowledgeable, communicative, no nonsense service. 4 other companies got it wrong. A/C Doctors got it right.

I'd give AR Williams a mixed but fair review…read more I initially called because I have a 7 to 8 year old Mitsubishi mini split in my garage that had stopped cooling. After calling several other HVAC companies that weren't interested in working on a mini split, someone else in the construction industry recommended AR Williams. When I first called, I was told they generally don't work on mini splits either. After explaining that I also had a conventional split system in my house that needed attention and that I wasn't interested in hiring two different companies, they agreed to come out and look at both systems. The technician who came out was excellent. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what he was seeing. He quickly determined that the mini split had lost its refrigerant charge. After adding R-410A, we were immediately able to hear the leak coming from the indoor head unit, confirming the system had a refrigerant leak. At that point, he discussed replacement options. They preferred replacing the system rather than repairing an older R-410A unit, while I decided I'd rather look into sourcing a replacement indoor head myself. My only real complaint is the pricing model. The technician spent roughly an hour and a half at my house, and the bill came to just over $600. Coming from the construction and service industry myself, I'm accustomed to straightforward hourly labor plus material markup. AR Williams uses flat-rate, software-based pricing where each task has a predetermined price regardless of how long it takes or the actual material cost. That's simply not a pricing model I'm personally comfortable with. I don't have any complaints about the technician or the professionalism of the visit. In fact, I'd happily have him back. My decision not to use AR Williams again is based solely on their pricing structure, not the quality of the people they employ. If you're comfortable with flat-rate pricing, you may have a different experience than I did. It just isn't the right fit for me.

First setting the appointment was a breeze with an instant text confirmation. I received a confirmation text when the tech was enroute. Tech was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the issue and how he would fix it. This was a new home I bought 7 months ago and the previous owner apparently didn't do many services on the unit. He thoroughly cleaned growth that was discovered which I absolutely appreciated as my son has allergies. He called the owner "Adam" to get some pricing for a new unit installation. This ac of mine is 11 years old. So, it will be time to replace. The tech had me up and running within 30 minutes. System needed a flush to drain the pipes. Needed a cleaning. All done for a super reasonable price. They offered me about 8 options for a new AC unit and handled that ranged for Savings to super delux but did not push for a sale. Simply explained the benefits of each system. They honestly didn't have an issue recommending and suggesting a cost savings unit. So they aren't trying to bleed you dry by selling you expensive things you don't need. I greatly appreciate that. Lastly, this company is out of Lake Worth in West Palm Beach and I'm in Port Saint Lucie. They have no issues driving the hour to reach me. If you have an AC issue and want a friendly company that you can trust, give this company a call. Honest, professional , and very reasonably priced. I will use them any chance I get. Thank you to all involved and looking forward to staying cool this summer.
