This branch of Frankie & Benny's is located in the London Designer Outlet, which is a stone throw away from Wembley Stadium. I called in here after watching my beloved Manchester City win the Carabao Cup, after defeating Arsenal 3-0 in the Final at Wembley, before I eventually ended up dining at Nando's nearby, I did have a poor experience at this store. Despite being around 4-5 years old now (The London Designer Outlet complex), this branch was a little old-fashioned in terms of decor inside the branch, it was quite large (which is needed due to the location at Wembley which has a capacity of 90,000 for events), but it didn't seem the nicest of places. The staff seemed a little rude and not very helpful, perhaps a little rushed rather than anything, and poor paper copies around the store saying they weren't accepting any vouchers or promotions due to the days' event also made the place seem a little tacky, although it's good to warn people about this, a more professional sign which looked better, and not just cheap would have been best. Due to issues with overall feel and staff here, hence also helping my decision to dine elsewhere, in this case I decided to go to Nando's instead (many other rivals nearby such as Pizza Express, Wagamama and Zizzi), I sadly feel this branch of Frankie and Benny's deserves a one-star rating. read more

Very bad experience. Unfortunately my daughter wanted chicken nuggets and this was the only place had in desigerr outlet. Rude staff , bad quality food and expensive. They forced us to order specific expensive food without giving a relevant reason. Burger was worse than McDonald. It's not like TGI Friday or other chains. Pizza was awaful and it was fully burned , when. We asked them they told us that it's how it is and because it's busy time. We tried the calamari for starter but really I never had such badly fried calamari in my life. It was really awaful. At the end I would suggest everyone in designer outlet to avoid going to this place. Is I'll never ever go to this place which you pay and Alos need to receive the staff rudeness. Vegetarian Breakfast ( harsh brown, avocado, beans, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and toasts)(under £6.00) Unfortunately I had a battle with the pepper pot and pepper pot won! I don't often swear but this place is [insert expletive here] awful. Given, this was New Year 2014 but at that time this branch was unavailable on Yelp. The food; Dry. Overcooked. Tasteless. The service; Just dreadful. The waiter (if you can call him that) was so ineffective and acted like we were an inconvenience to him despite getting the order wrong, taking an absolute age to get our drinks and serving up substandard rubbish. This was my first and (believe me) ONLY visit to Frankie & Benny's that I ever intend to make. This experience has completely sullied my opinion of this franchise. With a young extended family in tow and booths big enough to fit a ravenous clan, this place looked like a good plan, but should the game at the stadium opposite fail to bring you to tears, frankly, Frankie's and Benny's food will. What was that rumbling? Despite pangs of hunger, I couldn't really eat any of their tasteless, insipid, overcooked slop, so was it my stomach? Or could it have been Nonnas of Nonnas turning in their graves at the evidently brazen cultural cashing in on what is supposed to be authentic New York, New York Diner style Dinner? Well Nonnas! For you I say No No! I will not accept it. I do accept however that I'd stepped into a chain-linked to Garfunkles which is, as I'm sure any Londoner knows, synonymous to tedium and tasteless tourist trappery and that I should not have set my expectations so high, but F&B's are more Sons of B's if they think that their pre-packed, cooked-from-frozen crappery is going to get past me. Now one thing I love about Italian-New Yorkers is how close they like to be, I love their tactility, their passion! Particularly when it comes to food, yet the F&B spaghetti that was brought to our table- was barely touched by tomatoes. They certainly could have gone and put a bit more pomodoros on the plate to say the least, too but actually, the overdone spaghetti was better off dry, rather than having a horrible heavy coat of their terrible tasteless tinny canned tomato sauce over it. So mannaggia tua to the makers of these spongy, bouncy and quite obviously breaded meatballs. To make matters worse, they got our orders wrong during a quiet downtime during the day and I ended up getting something awful. So next time I think I'll say sti cazza to their carelessly constructed calzone. read more

I've been to several F&B's and the unfortunate reality is that this is just not a good one. All seemed fine at first, we ordered quickly and our drinks didn't take too long. Then our good took ages with no apology. When it arrived... Well I put it this way - my wife ordered a jacket potato which arrived plain- not a pat of butter or anything. She also had this chicken sandwich with cheese sauce. When we've eaten at the Harrow branch it's thick and lovely and covers the sandwich. Here it comprised of two small globs. Mine was nearly as bad - my chips were garnished with cut up bits of parsley all over (seriously, WTH?) and my sandwich was mush. Then we played a game with our waitress as we tried to attract her over to get our bill and she tried to ignore us. After 15 minutes of this she finally walked close enough that I could ask her for the bill. In the end someone else brought it over and we passive aggressively paid with exact change and left. I'm not really a huge fan of Frankie and Benny's but they said they had a new menu so we thought we would give it a go. I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad and my partner ordered a BBQ chicken pitta. The food took around 15 minutes which was quick considering how busy it was. When it came I was presented with a bowl of brown lettuce, a few chopped up tomatoes, 3 croutons and half a chicken breast thrown on top, the look of the food instantly put me off. I had to cut the chicken up on my partners plate as it was virtually impossible to do in the bowl. The salad tasted a disappointing as it looked, the lettuce was old, the croutons were so hard I thought I would break a tooth and the chicken was over cooked and tough. My partner wasn't overly impressed with his meal but he said it was OK. When the waitress came over to collect our plates I told her my issues with the food and she sent her manager over to see us. He was lovely and very apologetic, he offered us a free desert each or another meal which we politely declined and just asked for the bill. When he presented us with the bill he told us he had taken our drinks and my meal off the price and gave us a £10 voucher which was very kind of him. I was pretty disappointed with our meal as a whole but the kindest and professionalism of the management bumps this review to a 2 star. read more

Being seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned with the last persons serviettes on it, and then waiting 25 minute before being served. Entree was nice, mushrooms in cheese and garlic sauce. Then mains come out, beef salad which was the worst tasting salad I've ever tasted I actually couldn't eat it and I'm a foodie! My friend had the New Jersey chicken, which sounds fantastic on paper, but was terrible. Chicken was very dry. I occasionally visit Frankie and Benny's as its just basic, fits the purpose food. It offers American food and isn't anything special - but it does do it well. It means though that it's a similar experience to Coast to Coast. The food is good quality and has a decent portion size. Price is okay too. I've always found the staff very attentive and friendly and never have waited long for service or food. The breakfast is decent, but would recommend Coast to Coast as they do a similar menu but their breakfast is better. It's a good restaurant to go to if you are with fussy eaters or children. When we arrived we had to wait around 5-7minutes for someone to show us to a table, that was pretty long because there weren't alot of people there. Another 10minutes to the waitriss to take our order for the drinks. When we asked for wi-fi since it said there were wi-fi at the place the person serving us said first that she didn't know anything about it, then we said-what since we didn't really hear what she said., she then said it doesn't work. It took around 40minutes to get our food (wich is quite alot since there were like 10 other people there) the food was quite good though, (some stuff were pretty burned and not really enjoyable) and the sallad looked very small and poor. Now we are sitting here waiting for the bill....probably gonna take another 40 minutes...and it's way after closing time aswell and we are the last people here... Wouldn't really recommend this, better go to Nandos just 10 meters away. read more

Not much to say out this restaurant. The food is pretty good (chicken Rosetta & chicken chorizo pasta were the choices), the non alcoholic cocktail, were refreshing and surprisingly nice. The rest of the food was appalling when spotting another customer and the waitress was friendly enough. The only down side is the speed of the service. If you are in a rush, you'll be happy, if like us, you wanted to enjoy the food and relax, well that might not be the best choice. read more

After few minutes our food reached. The food was hastily cooked and was not delicious. Service was kind of slow. We had to call for the waiter every time to order and ask for the bill. We went on a Monday so we got a discount on our bill. Pretty darn hideous all round. The service is okay but nothing to write home about. We ordered the once tasty garlic doughballs. They were all rock hard, and inedible, and the cheese sauce and garlic butter were tasteless. Straw that broke the camels back was the fact that they first came to say they were out of spaghetti then came back to say they were out of spaghetti sauce. We visited this location on our visit to England from the U.S. We have been to other locations but this is a great one. The people are friendly and attentive and the service is excellent. We always enjoy the variety on the menu having kids of various ages. This is a great place for a good bite to eat with friends or family. We will be back! read more
