    Idiot sandwich (lamb)
    Jeremy L.

First meal as a family in London. Dishes were pretty tasty. Service was just okay. Idiot Sandwich (4): The lamb was pretty tasty. The bread was very nicely toasted and really gave the sandwich a nice bite to it. Butter Chicken Curry (5): Slightly spicy and delicious flavor! Large chunks of chicken. The saffron rice had some chunks of grapes which added a really nice contrast. The garlic naan was amazing as well. Dry-aged Rib-eye (4): Really nice cut of meat. Cooked perfectly medium-rare. Wish it was a little thicker but still tasty. They had a kids menu and their dishes were free! They liked the sausages. Overall we had a great meal.

This place is a great, casual but upscale place to bring your kids and for a good, comfort meal. The servers were all pleasant and accommodating. And the ambience is low lit, cool, with an extensive wine and drink list. The mushroom cannelloni dish was so rich. Bummed that the ice cream bar wasn't open, but the Mac and cheese was cheesy and a good portion for free kids meal. Highly recommend.

One of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants the Heddon Street Kitchen offered a nice place for a reunion with London friends in the outdoor section*. The food was very good but maybe not the best I've ever had. *Notably, as the darkness started to evolve, the outdoor section was visited by the next level of patrons, i.e. an army of mice running out and in minute openings in the ground and enjoying the leftovers from the designated patrons.

Hands down the best meal we had in London! The fish was fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our sides of mashed potatoes and buttered kale paired perfectly. This was literally the best kale I had in my life! Topped it off with a sticky toffee pudding that I did not want to share! Cocktails were delightful additions to the meal as we enjoyed the ambiance and open air layout.

Danny & Chris are amazing! From the moment I walked up to the door, they knew I had a reservation and my name. They took care of us and cared about us the entire two hours we were there. My son explained he's heading to the U.S. Army and they brought him a special dessert. I honestly would return based on the service alone. But I would also return for the food!! We had the Beef Wellington for 2 and added carrots. The meat was cooked to perfection. I had to add to salt to the meat, as it needed more flavor (for me). It very tender, and beautifully presented. The glazed carrots were UNREAL! Please add that to your order. We also had the tamarind chicken wings: OHMYGOSH: sooooo dang good! I could have eaten a dozen of them. Dessert was so tasty too... we had a cheesecake, a (complimentary) strawberry sorbet, and a tiramisu. All were so yummy and refreshing (which was welcome because of the heat). We also had crafted mocktails... YES!!! Carefully prepared and paired. If you have the chance: GO!

First time dining here and Lidia took very good care of us. She gave great recommendations (chocolate fondant for the win) and was very attentive during our meal. We enjoyed chatting with her abiut her life here in London. The ambiance was great and we had a wonderful meal. We were not rushed (we got the Beef Wellington) and we enjoyed watching people and supping in our cocktails until the main event.

Came here to try the classic fish and chips dish as a tourist cause who else does it better than mr gordan ramsy amirite:') The fish and chips were very good, what I expected. The fish was actually very big and tasted really fresh! Overall would recommend, but giving 4 stars cause the service was superrr slow. We were in the restaurant for at least 2 hours even though we only got 2 things.

The service was definitely top notch. It's what you would expect from a Gordon Ramsey establishment. As for the food, it was just ok. We ordered the famous beef Wellington for two. The pastry was crispy on the outside but it was a bit too much and became soggy. The ratio to mushroom "feeling" and beef was not great. The flavor itself was a bit bland. I definitely suggest if you want to try it, go for the smaller portion and try other things on the menu.

Came here for dinner with a large party and had a good time. Food was average-good, but portions were larger than expected, especially fish & chips. Would recommend sharing that for sure! The menu was a little bit all over the place, with british, american, and even japanese sushi listed. Umm, what? But other than that, I enjoyed the appetizers and desserts quite a bit, especially the shrimp cocktail, poke and sticky toffee pudding.

What an amazing night out! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. It was a dream to eat at a Ramsey restaurant in London. We got the beef Wellington for two and it was mouth watering delicious. I added a picture but it's after I already ate one of the pieces of beef since it was that good. The steak was as soft as butter. They even have mocktails, which always feels inclusive on a huge bar menu. Finally, the cheesecake was a highlight with the pistachio ice cream. It goes without saying that the ambiance is top notch.

Been wanting to cross off a "Gordon Ramsay" restaurant for a long time. Finally got the opportunity here in London. The location is fantastic. A little side street of Regent Street right near Piccadilly Circus. It's tucked back in the corner. The aesthetic of the restaurant is 5 star. Dimly lit with a very rustic feel. We were early for our reservation but were seated immediately. The server offered water - still or sparkling. We got still. Chose a couple of wines off the menu - delicious and not too badly priced for London (£14 each). We got a bread basket as a starter which was 4 of the same rolls, equally overcooked underneath and a hazard for teeth. The main reason we were there was for the famous beef Wellington. £120 for 2 people, which came with a small side of mashed potatoes. The server informed us of a 45 min - 1 hour wait because it's cooked to order - PERFECT. The food eventually came and fortunately for the chef, the restaurant was dark. It wasn't until after eating the ends and reaching the middle did we notice just how undercooked the beef was. By this point it was too late to return the food because we already ate some. It was to the point of being inedible. I don't mind a medium rare steak, but not my beef Wellington. On top of that, the layer of mushroom was far too thick and overpowered (the very impressive) pastry. On getting the bill, we noticed that we were also charged £7 for tap water. You read that correctly. It wasn't the worst meal I've ever had, but 'quality per $' value, it was up there on the bad list.

Tucked away in an almost nondescript part of Regent Street, this is just one of many nice restaurants in the area. It's, literally, surrounded by them. Fortunately, all of the restaurants here have their own unique flair, so it shouldn't be too hard to choose which one you want to try first; just ask your gut what it's hankering for. Having dined in most of the others, I can say from experience that this is one of the nicer ones. It has a secluded enough patio that it doesn't feel like it's in the way of foot traffic like some of the others, the interior is spacious and swanky, and- while pricey- the food and drinks are pretty top-notch. If you're coming during the week, chances are you won't need a booking, as walk-ins are more than welcome and it isn't too busy on a workday. During the weekend, however, it might be a different story. The menu is as grand as it gets without being overwhelming. Whether you're craving seafood or steak, they've got you covered. As always, I have to say a few words about the boozy portion of the menu: Cocktails. Delicous. Get them. Moving on. Given that I'm not really a seafood person, (at all), and didn't want to shell out £40+ on a rump steak I wasn't sure I'd like, I had to go for the next-safest option and try the burger. While not quite worth the almost £20 it cost, as it was a bit on the tougher side, I could tell that the meat was pretty high-quality, the Sriracha Mayo gave it just enough of a kick to make it "better-than-your-average-burger," and those fries were to die for. I just wish they'd include something a little more gourmet than jarred ketchup to dip them in. One of this spots biggest selling points is the great service and upscale ambiance. Perfect for when you want to impress someone, and don't mind paying for it.

I think every American mother/daughter duo was checking this place out for lunch or high tea. Mom and I opted for the lunch experience in the room called "The Glade." 3 courses, for a very reasonable price. Something like 36 pounds if I remember correctly. We did this over the more pricey high tea, but that certainly looked like a good time as well. That dining room was gorgeous. The food was pretty good. Nothing that absolutely blew my socks off, except for the strawberry dessert. Everything was certainly well done, though. Those damn English scones were some of the best I've ever had - clotted cream and jam! Heavenly. Dinner in the Gallery was fun and delish as well. We started with the Korean tofu dumplings + beetroot carpaccio, both were light, perfectly seasoned and lovely starters. Mushroom arancini with carrot ginger coconut broth was well balanced and craveable. Cod brandade was delicious as well but a bit heavy, could only eat half. Pistachio chocolate peanut ganache was the perfect end to a lovely meal. It's a visual spectacle in the best way, and service was lovely as well. The restaurant is gorgeous as well but what really makes the entire experience is the staff. From the host to the waitstaff, everyone was beyond lovely and kind. Special shout outs to Jacob from NY and Bella from Vancouver BC that were just the best. We started with the artichokes and radishes, both of which were lovely. We grabbed dinner reservations for 8:00 pm and were seated at a really cute booth by the kitchen pass area. I got the shiso spritz and my husband tried a couple of their mocktails which he enjoyed thoroughly. Foodwise, we got the crispy aubergine tops, sprouting broccoli, tropea onions, potatoes with creme fraiche and the mixed grill mushroom. The two standouts were the aubergine tops and the tropea onions where I was really ready to LICK THE PLATE. The onions with the ricotta were seasoned to perfection with just a bit of spice. The aubergine was breaded and fried to cronchy heaven and I could eat a bucket of these if they were presented to me. The potatoes were good but needed a touch more seasoning; and the broccoli was also a great dish but paled in comparison to the stars. The mixed mushroom main was good but not our favorite as the seasoning blend on them became a tad overwhelming for us as we ate. Dessert wise, we grabbed the miso caramel which was delicious. Service was super friendly and efficient. 10/10 you HAVE to try this place if you are in the area (or you know, trek out a bit if you're not :P) You will not regret this meal, trust me.

My starter, a classic duck terrine, kept the bar high: rich, expertly balanced, and beautifully presented. Then the meal truly took flight. The first main, the scallops, delivered a masterclass in flavor layering. Perfectly fresh and tender, they shimmered in a buttery sauce lifted by XO--comforting yet sophisticated, familiar yet inventive. A clear sign that Wild Honey takes its seafood seriously. But the dish that justified every whisper of Michelin-level praise was the venison. The cut itself was exceptional, but the execution was transcendent. Succulent texture, bold flavor, and a wild, almost ethereal depth--the contrast felt magical. Each bite was delicate yet powerful, like walking through an entire landscape of woodland aromas and game-forward richness in a single mouthful. Truly breathtaking. The signature custard sealed the evening with quiet elegance--silky, balanced, and deeply satisfying. A perfect finale to a Christmas night dinner we won't soon forget. It was perfectly cooked and came with a small cauliflower steak and frisée salad. There was nothing wrong with the sirloin steak, but as a British server in another restaurant once told me: an American should not order steak in a British restaurant. The cheese selection was excellent. Service was mostly fantastic but a letdown at the end. A server asked me I wanted port with the cheese. I said "yes." He put down a class, returned, and poured a glass of Taylor's 10. I remember thinking, this is okay but the 20 would have been nicer. When the bill arrived, I was charged for Taylor 20 instead of 10. It's only a few quid difference but the charge should be correct. I pointed this out to the server. He said he would check with the sommelier. When he returned he said I was served the Taylor 20. I had seen the bottle of 10-year with my own eyes but it seemed needless to argue. It was a disappointment after an otherwise excellent meal. Even if they thought I was wrong, they should have refunded the four or five pound difference off a check that was nearly 300 quid.
