The store was very cool looking and I was immediately helped. My artist, Calvin was super nice and we had a great chat about what I wanted, he was super upfront about pricing and everything, and I showed him what I wanted, which was a full sleeve that I drew up myself (not very good lol) he drew up an actual stencil super quickly that looked 1000x better than what I had envisioned, and he included a bunch of really pretty details. During the tattoo he checked up on how I was pretty often and was just good at listening to what I wanted. The tattoo turned out absolutely gorgeous, I cannot stop looking at it, it's so pretty! I only got it a couple hours ago but for a full sleeve it was only 160 + tip and he did such a good job. I'll definitely be going back, and I highly recommend this place :) read more

Sorry it took so long to post my review! It's been over a year since acquiring my tattoo. Received it on April 13th, 2018. I'm very happy with my newest addition! Who knew a "Friday the 13th" special would be so amazing! So they had a sheet with 13 different tattoos, all for $30.00 a piece, & all amazing original drawings (No cut & paste pictures!!). So they all had the number 13 in them, but we (3 of us) were allowed to edit that part out & as many colors and color options as we wanted. We all got the same tattoo just in various colors. This tattoo has received so many compliments for placement, size, money paid, colors, and overall "gorgeousness"! I can't wait to get another! Shop is AMAZING! Clean, well lit, courteous & talented ARTISTS, amazing service, and amazing SHOP!! Very helpful if you have a blank space and just want new ink, stop in and they will hook you up!!! read more

For starters, I am addicted to tattoos and the one I just got is lucky number 7! I actually drew the design myself and e-mailed it to Johnny, who printed it out and we revamped it a bit. Instead of the design being straight Johnny implemented some curve so that it worked with my thigh. Turned out pretty awesome! Johnny is a great artist and has been for about 40 years. He has been doing tats for about 6, but don't let that deter you! He is extremely friendly and is very helpful at figuring out design help. Plus, he is great with astrology so it was great to get a breakdown on my astrological sign as well as others! Sure beats looking on the internet for it. His wall is full of his artwork that are just mind boggling. I cannot say enough great things about him. If you are looking for a tattoo around this area he is a great artist and I highly recommend him...I mean I have 7 tats, my opinion should count for something! I've been going to Frankie's tattoos for a couple years now and have been tatted by 5 of the artists. Johnny has hands down been my favorite, he's very patient with me, I never felt rushed as he spends time (hours) drawing, redrawing and perfecting pieces that I want & always has creative suggestions to adds to it and truly tries to understand your style... I can go on and on about how amazing he is to work with. There are about 8 artists to choose from, they are all friendly, funny and honest. Each of their rates are $80/hr & they also have Friday the 13th specials where you can get any 2x2 tattoo for $31 + tip. Consultations are always free. The shop is clean and before the pandemic walk-ins were accepted. It is located downstairs to a chiropractor office and there is plenty of parking. read more

I was very happy going to this location my for second tattoo. I did not know of any local tattoo artist, but I found this company on yelp. My tattoo artist was Jonny and he was great! Super patient and worked with me on ideas. He even offered creative ideas on how to improve the design with shadowing and other creative details. Shop was very clean and the artists there were great. I originally went here because a friend of mine was apprenticing his ink there. Since then I have not gone anywhere else! The shop is spacious and clean, the people acknowledge you and the prices are most definitely reasonable. I have only had tattoo work done by one artist (Johnny C'thulhu) but I have seen the work of the others and it is pretty awesome. I strongly suggest going here (and to Johnny) for your ink needs. I got a tattoo here this weekend and I am not happy AT ALL. The place was dirty, and unprofessional even for a tattoo shop. All the furniture was ripped and all of the artists were blowing e-cig smoke in our faces and other artists were sitting in the corner burping loudly. But that's just the starter, my tattoo was screwed up royally. It was a super simple design (a yin yang) and the lines are jagged and crooked, it's not a circle it's an oval and they ended up making my tattoo bigger than I asked for. I can't believe how upset I am with this shop. I'm just waiting for my tattoo to heal enough for me to go somewhere else to get it cleaned up. read more

I wanted to give this place 5 stars, I really did. But there were just too many things I didn't enjoy. I, and a friend of mine, recently got small tattoos at this establishment. When we walked in, we were greeted to the sound of the artists laughing in a back area of the shop. No one was up front to help us or direct us to who we should be talking to. My friend finally walked to the back (all of them were just sitting around on their phones) she finally got to ask someone about getting our pieces done. We told our artist what we wanted done, and how it was my first tattoo, and it took me by surprise when he actually laughed at what we wanted done. (matching cart-wheels on our shoulders) This immediately made me feel self-conscious and embarrassed because as I stated before, this was my first tattoo. They told me I needed to get a bigger one done before I got this done and they wouldn't do it. My friend immediately came to my rescue by telling them about her previous tattooing experiences and stating that this is where I wanted to start getting more and more ink. They finally agreed, and our artist (whos name was cody i believe) got our designs drawn up rather quickly, not really taking the time to ask about details or what we wanted. We had to stop him multiple times to tell him exactly what we wanted for our pieces. My friend went first so I could see how everything was done while I prepare myself. They talked, joked, laughed, and even laughed about how I had Virgin skin. I was more excited than ever when it was finally my turn. When I sat in the chair, he set up his work space and immediately went to work. I tried striking up a conversation to get my mind off of the initial pain, but he actually seemed more interested in talking to my friend. She noticed this and tried including me in the conversation as much as she could, but it seemed like he was intentionally ignoring me. I really could only get him to respond if I told him I was in pain or wanted a different line or two in my piece. After we were finished he gave us information about coming back before 30 days for free touch ups which I was very grateful for. About two and a half weeks after the appointment, I began to notice how crooked my lines were, how blotchy my color was, and how much better my friends tattoo seemed to look in comparison. I called to make a touch up appointment, but as soon as I told them who I was, they said Cody was booked up through the week and couldn't do anything. I asked if anyone else could do it but was declined, saying something about only your original artist can do the touch up. This went on for another two, almost 3 weeks. Calling and being told my artist was busy or simply wasn't in. I even heard over the phone someone (most likely my artist) saying "Just tell her I'm busy" on multiple accounts. Finally I became so fed up with the calling that I just went back to the shop, only to be told that since it had been more than 30 days I needed to pay the fee for my touch up. I promptly left and never returned to this shop again. I've had multiple tattoos done and worked on since then, each shop I go to much better than frankies. I even found an amazing artist who did my touch up totally free for charge, and it looks absolutely perfect. I wouldn't recommend this shop unless you know someone who the artists are friends with, or you're family. read more
