Visiting friends in Franklin and the family got sick over the holidays. After being grounded for three days my buddy and I came to one of his favorite haunts since relocating to TN and brought me to Franklin Cigar. A truly awesome staff that is helpful and answers questions you may have even if you are not a regular cigar smoker. They have lockers for regulars and an extensive collection of all varieties this place is awesome. They have several seating areas and TVs which allowed us to watch bowl games and they top it off with beer on tap. Come check it out, this place is a local gem! read more

The room was smoky and it might prove advisable to look into a system to make it less so. i've been to Franklin cigar many times over the past two years and I've heard other customers complain about their customer service. It's something I've always talked away in the back of my mind but have always had limited experience with their customer service team. Today I walked in, brought my own cigar, ask them to pour me a beer when I was told that I need to pay to five dollars to bring my own cigar and when I rejected that payment and said no thanks they said you owe us for the beer that was just poured I told them they could keep the gift card I received and walked out. Safe to say I will never be returning to Franklin Cigar. read more

A good cigar lounge is inviting and has good conversation, as well as great supplies. Here, Franklin Cigar has it all. Although I'm not able to go in now because of COVID-19, I can't wait to go back and check it out again. The staff knows the product. They're friendly. Thoughtful. Cool people. They're not pushy. The beer on tap selection is a proper diversification of all flavors to meet your brewed desires. This shop is a good product as a whole ranging from the clean floors, pristine restrooms, leather chairs, clientele, and location. This is my first visit and I'm a BIG fan. I had a great experience here getting some pipe tobacco. Person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful in making recommendations. The tobacco he suggested met all the requirements I asked for. Only downside (and didn't take off for this) is the smell, as a non-cigar smoker. Extremely strong. I didn't wear my mask inside, but my mask smelled the next day just from my face and breathing. And I was only there ~5 minutes. So, be aware of that. read more

Every time I visit and spend $200, they tell me I'm at the same spot. In fact, after spending $1000, I got a $20 cigar. That's pretty weak. Love Franklin Cigar. I'm there once a week almost every week. The selection for cigars and pipe tobacco is excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They can answer any questions you have and get you to the right stick in no time. They have different beers on draft or in bottle / can. They have soda and sparkling water too. (you can bring your own liquor and pay a 5$ "cork fee" if you want) Really nice place but not uptight at all. Show up in a suit and tie or show up in your overalls. I was in Nashville for a conference a couple weeks ago and had some time to kill, so made my way over to get some work done. The first thing you notice is how clean and tasteful this place is. Very classy. They have a pretty good selection and will happily serve a mug of something cold while you enjoy a smoke. The lounge is nice, even if it's a little cramped. Leather seating all around, a large HD TV and superb ventilation mean that they've hit all the high-points on my list of expectations. It's obviously in a high-rent suburb, but I felt that the prices were still pushing the upper limits. Still, my cigars were perfectly preserved and the staff was incredibly friendly. They also win major points from me for warmly embracing pipe smokers. If you are in the area and like atmosphere and quality more than low-prices, this is an excellent option. read more
