I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

You may ask why anyone would pay to have a brand-new RV inspected. The simple answer is that modern travel trailer manufacturing is not what it once was. Increased production speeds can often come at the expense of build quality, and new units routinely leave the factory with defects that are not immediately apparent. Unlike the automotive industry, RV warranties are often shorter in duration and may cover fewer components. Failing to have a new RV thoroughly inspected can leave owners responsible for costly repairs if problems are discovered after warranty coverage expires. Issues such as roof leaks, frame assembly defects, plumbing problems, electrical faults, or improperly installed components may not become evident until months or even years after purchase. By then, the responsibility for repairs may rest entirely with the owner. That is where Brad and the Aladdin RV team provide tremendous value. As an Operations and Maintenance Manager for critical facilities (think data centers). I know and understand the importance of commissioning and thoroughly testing systems before they are placed into service. Because these issues were identified before closing the sale, the dealer was required to address the warranty repairs before I took ownership of the unit. Guy destroyed my beautiful lance camper. All I wanted was somebody to do a full reseal and make…read moreseal job look like how it did from factory 20 years ago. My camper was nice, just had old and dirty sealant that gathered road dirt. I understand it's gummy and hard to remove. He sounded confident. This guy worked 2 half days, comes and tells me, it's done buddy". I walk out and almost had a heart attack!! Camper was scratched all over 1" over from where the sealant even was in multiple spots. I walk to front and look up, I'm like there's two giant holes in seam right there! He gets his little sealant gun puts some on his finger and puts enough just to make the cavities he left look covered. As I continue to walk around most the dirty sealant was gone, but small chunks remained. Remained under the new sealant! It looked like he just put sealant on his finger and lightly wiped a new thin coat all over the whole campers seams, leaving holes and cavities all over, trying to fake the seal. Sealant is now 1" over from where it should be because he used his finder to wipe it everywhere. Then he used clear silicone where camper had clear, but he put clear over all these dirty spots that was never cleaned. So now all this black dirt is sealed in under this clear silicone. I would have paid someone 3 times the price for a good job. i was actually going to offer him an extra few hundred for his helper untill i seen the job he did. I would have took it to lance camper and paid any amount. This guy screwed me over so hard because his sealant is everywhere to the sides of where it should be making it physically impossible to just come back over and reseal it without his mess showing. I've now spent 4-5 hours every Sunday trying to to clean up my camper from what he did and idk what to do at this point to clean up my camper from his mess

Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. He diagnosed the issue quickly and knew exactly what was wrong. The automatic transfer switch had failed. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline. The repair was clean and professional. Power was restored and my entire weekend was back on track. What could have been a ruined trip turned into a great one. He did not stop there. He worked through the warranty process and made sure the repair was covered. I ended up fully reimbursed by the manufacturer. That saved me money and a lot of hassle. Nick goes above and beyond.
