That being said they are not babysitters and children who are not able to skate independently and safely need to be supervised. The skates are good, but don't hesitate to make them aware if the laces need to be tweaked or replaced. There are very few things for minors to do in any direction and for very long distances, but even if there were more choices this destination should top your list. It's affordable, a healthy way to spend a few hours and fun memories to be made. They also do a wonderful birthday party during open hours or schedule a private time.

This place is clean and had early morning hours and had the right equipment that was needed for us - it's better than what they had at the courtyard. We bought a $35 weekly pass and it was perfect for our week in Cooperstown ASV. I am not sure if this review is for foxcare of the Y specialty gym which is part of ymca. My son did say there were some people were more about tapping really loud than lifting weights, but who cares tbh.

I got a weeks pass for 30$ which I feel is pretty affordable. The gym has up to date equipment and the workout area was very clean. The only equipment they were missing was kettle balls. They also have a trainer on hand if you have any questions about any of the machines. This gym also has a pool and workout classes. I would come here again. The staff was extremely friendly and made you feel very welcome. The only negative is the bathrooms were nasty. The toilet seats needed to be replaced. I know this gym is not cheap so I know FOXCARE can afford it.

Staff does not monitor students spending excepting amounts of time on one machine often there will be a line of them hanging out at one machine and using it back to back or they will be " super setting" picking up two machines but between each machine, they'll take about 20 to 30 minutes to go from one machine to the other other times, they'll be using the dead left or squat area and then sit in the bench area and take up both empty benches that other people can be using while they sit and rest as well as the sit up and dead lift area. Then they are constantly taking out tripods or taking selfies/videos in the restroom, which is bizarre they have no consideration about who may be in the background using the bathroom stalls. Also, there's no dress code and often women are wearing a very lewd outfit showing off areas not everyone else in the gym wants to see.

My girlfriend and I spent a few hours here on a Sunday afternoon in May. If you rent a boat you can keep it out as long as you want, and you have access to the whole property for the entire day. We spent awhile in kayaks and had the whole lake to ourselves for the entire time. We then spent some time down at the swimming hole and had that to ourselves as well. Everyone who works there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful day overall and the perfect end to a perfect weekend getaway.
