Unfortunately the Mall of Monroe has seen better days. No anchor stores remain and the only chain retail is Bath and Body. I consider Bath and Body the cockroach of retail. Why? Because they can outlast and survive anything. It's a shame the mall is so dead because the phoenix theater is the best theater in the area. We drive from Toledo to enjoy movies there. If you're hungry there is one Mexican restaurant in the Food court, but unfortunately Mrs. Fields closed recently. One other highlight is the pinball arcade. Some really cool vintage machines. read more

Overall, it's mostly SAD. Many malls in America suffering similar END results... The stores leave and this is what's left. At least it has a movie theatre, absolutely nothing else. read more

Treasure trove market literally stole our money. We paid for a marble entry table and Rachel Jacob García and her husband Joel García refused to meet at our previously scheduled appointment day and time for pick up because they "thought we were scammers". NO CLUE WHY. Avoid this place like the plague. I'm working with my bank to reverse the charge. Horrible business owners and morals. read more

Very clean and well kept. Has a great 80s vibe. Doesn't currently have a ton of retail spaces, but is still an awesome place to hang out and shop (and would have more if people support the mall). Also has an arcade with a ton of awesome pinball machines! Employees of stores were all very friendly and helpful. read more

The Mall of Monroe is conveniently located in Monroe, Michigan.  It is a large, spacious area.  It features a few stores and a very nice movie theater. The parking lot is kept in good condition.  The internal, public parts of the mall are also kept in good condition. A lot of the spaces in the mall are empty.  Unless you are travelling there for a very specific need it is not likely you will find a wide variety of stock merchandise to choose from.  The larger stores have departed.  The movie theatre remains viable for now.  The entry to the mall via the roadways is a little inconvenient which comes off a main road on one side and a side road on a curve on the other.  It may have been a good mall at one time but it is not very busy now.  The food court is still passable but unremarkable.  The last time I was there eating a person sat down spewing out clouds of vape smoke as if it were okay to do where smoking was not allowed. Not my choice for a satisfying shopping experience.  Once Pat Catan's departs I will have no reason to return unless the movie theater offers some extraordinary special. read more

This mall was one I spent a lot of time at in my youth. It was great, a theater, arcade and tons of places for shopping and enjoying for people of all ages. The theater is now better than ever, but the rest of the mall has gotten much worse. I think the arcade is still full of the same games from my youth, many of the storefronts sit empty and the foodcourt is a joke. I'm not sure if this place has died because of poor management, or more so that people don't flock to malls like they used to. It's easier to shop online, and generally cheaper. Maybe malls are just lumbering ghosts of the past still lingering in the present. Whatever the reason, this place seems to be dying a death unfit of how great it once was. read more

Not able to go in. I don't think it's open every time I pass by parking lot is empty except the gym. It's a ghost town because of the Covid!

I honestly don't know what is good with this mall anymore, except maybe the movie theater. The complex is filled with over-priced niche stores, a small food court, and a bunch of vacant units. Target is the only real anchor store (NOW CLOSED), as all the others have gone away. Various stores have moved in but seem to come and go with the wind. There's absolutely nothing you can get from this place that you can't get from any nearby box store (Kmart, Meijer, Walmart all within a half mile). I hear a Planet Fitness is moving in, which would be kind of cool to serve the overweight populace. Ask anyone in Monroe where they go to shop or even hang out (as if the popular thing to do is go stroll at a mall like high school kids), and no one will say the Mall of Monroe. When I lived in Monroe, everyone I knew would rather drive the extra 20 miles to Southland Mall or simply walk around Walmart. read more

Why so empty, I remember this place hopping with fun and excitement on the weekends... there were things to do and place to go. I have had some fund memories here at this mall... avoid coming here at all cost...unless you want to walk with the elderly in the morning, or you want to go to GameStop or Carson's. I always hope that with each visit, that this mall will become prosperous once gain hold the attention of patrons and kids of Monroe and the tri-area... they need something to do or they get in trouble or do drugs... for the kids' sake get some cool storefronts in there. At least they still have a GameStop. :) read more

I have grown up in this area, and the mall used to be a great place. However, I wouldn't waste my time coming here. There are only a couple stores still open and a couple food places in the "court". Unless you're coming here for the movie theatre (which is amazing !) you're wasting you're time. read more

This is a dead mall. There are about 8 stores open here. The only thing keeping this mall afloat is the movie theatre. They do maintain everything, and its cleaner than most other dead malls. read more

True ...this mall is a mere hollow shell of its former self from what I hear..as I am originally not from this area....however..the best theater ever lives here. Reclining seats?! Also, some stores have resisted the inevitable darkness that awaits them. American eagle...rue21...Spencer's...and other stores I'm way too old to shop at but still do have not been swallowed up by this town's poor retail economy. read more

This mall is embarrassing! I have no idea how it is still open. Went here on a Sunday afternoon. There are so few people in the entire mall it's sad. Passing more many empty store to get to ones that are open. Not long until this place shuts the doors for good. read more
