I have loved the convenience of this pharmacy for awhile now. Our insurance switched to Kaiser but my son had an emergency. So we came here to get a prescription. Told her we were willing to pay cash and she asked me to go to a different pharmacy? What? No one but Kaiser accepts Kaiser duh ma'am. We gave her some other insurance cards that the hospital said showed as active. She asked us to come back in 30. We come back and she still has not prepared the medication for us. She asked me to comeback yet again. The do not care about customer service or helping. If I have another emergency I will not be back. You lost a customer today. I pick up my parents prescriptions for them here and I call an hour or two before heading there to see if they are ready, staff says the prescriptions are ready. When I show up they tell me they are still getting the prescriptions ready and I explain someone from their staff told me they were ready. Staff says it isn't and there's nothing they can do and I told them they could tell me it isn't ready so I don't head over there early. Staff was unhelpful and rude. This is by far the worst Pharmacy I have ever been too. I've been born and raised in Yuba City and the disrespect I have gotten from a professional medical location is just absolutely ridiculous. They have held my prescription medication (won't refill) even though my doctor had told them it was okay for the medication to be refilled. I really hope every single staff member and the owner of this pharmacy see's this and also any and all medical professionals that have the ability to close this establishment down. I went to pick up my grandkids medicine through the drive-thru and I was told that they were working on it I told the lady that I was going to park and walked inside to get the prescription so I didn't have to wait on the drive-thru as I walked inside they told me to have a seat !!! I waited twenty minutes and I went back to the counter for a status the lady asked the young pharmacist that i was waiting there for a minute and he said loud and clear that he didn't care and the make me wait for another 20 minutes ... This place is an absolute joke. Every month I have to deal with this place and I always dread it. The ladies at the counter are incompetent at best. Prescriptions are never ready, its not unusual for them to be "out of stock", they are anything but customer oriented. They don't communicate at all if there are any issues...It's a guessing game with them. This is a pharmacy but it's ran like a fast food chain. Someone should inform them they are providing in some cases life savings medicine and not cheeseburgers. Some professionalism should be expected. read more

The staff is very disorganized and it makes me question if they are an actual pharmacy. They never send the exact amount of pills listed on the bottle. Makes you wonder if their pharmacy tech can even count or is stealing pills from innocent patients. It's a constant battle trying to understand their staff, is the medicine ready or not? I've only gotten children's covid vaccine's here so can't comment on other services, but we had two great experiences with the pharmacists administering the shots. Our child has an extreme fear of shots and needles, and while she fought and screamed during the first dose the gentleman was kind and talked to her the whole time. That made her much less scared going back for the second dose, and she didn't fight or scream at all. I'd recommend this location for children's shots. read more

I would give this pharmacy zero stars if I could. The staff is rude and unprofessional! They only put 30 pills in the bottle and labeled it as a quantity of 60. We called the pharmacy and we were told to bring in the bottle to the pharmacy, so that they can "verify". The medication was a blood pressure medication not a freaking norco! They had us wait on the phone for 35 mins just to tell us that we need to bring in the bottle to verify. You guys do understand that people can actually take the pills out of the bottle and still claim that they didn't get the right amount right? Forcing people to get out of their house during a pandemic just to get their medication when you guys are the ones that made the mistake is ridiculous and unacceptable! read more

I was finally fed up with CVS so I thought it would be great to work with a local independent pharmacy that would treat me like a human and be friendly and willing to help. I gave them my info, they got everything transferred over, and auto filled the meds that were due. I thought that this was a good start! Then I went into the pharmacy. All of the shelves were half empty, probably half the items were out of stock, and it looked like a 10 yr old organized everything. I thought maybe they're going under financially and can't afford to restock. As I went up to the counter I was hoping for a nice friendly person that looked willing to help me. Not the case. This person acted like I was an inconvenience l, never smiled, and spoke as little as possible. She didn't even tell me what the meds were. The customer next to me was having the same experience with the other employee. They do have a cool app for seeing your meds, ordering, history, etc, a drive thru, and I believe they deliver. I'm going to give them a few more chances. If the service doesn't change then I'll transfer to another on. read more

My dog got sick and needed a compound medication. The vet said that Franklin Pharmacy only compounds on Tuesdays and Thursdays and tried to contract them but no one answered. It was too late to go to the pharmacy on Wednesday because my dog wasn't ready to go home until 5:40 pm. Pharmacy closes at 6. So I went early on Thursday morning and gave them the prescription. First the lady questioned who the medicine was for; told her my dog. It was on the prescription paper from the vet. Then she said she had to consult the pharmacist to see if they had the drugs. She came back and said it would be ready Friday. I asked if they only due compounds on Tuesdays and Thursday's why is it not ready till Friday. She said, this is an emergency prescription, it will be ready tomorrow! I said if it's an emergency prescription why do I have to wait so long? She said because I brought the prescription in too late. It was morning and they had only been open for an hour. Then she said I had to pay in advance! No problem! Then she questioned me about the doctor. I told her who it was and she insisted she couldn't read the name. I said it's a vet. They use you all the time. She said she had never seen than signature. I had to pull out the vet bill and prove I had been to the vet and that the vets name was on the paperwork. In the meantime, my dog doesn't have his meds for 48 hours because this all started Wednesday. I'm sure if it was a human and not an animal I would have gotten the prescription right away. Never going back there again. And if you need a prescription for your fur baby. I definitely would find a different pharmacy. Going to Sacramento from now on. read more

I have never set foot in this business, and after the unprofessional customer service I just received over the phone, I never will. When one calls a local business to inquire whether they carry a certain product, one should not be told "you'll have to come in and look yourself", especially on a specialty item for a small business. It shouldn't be difficult to determine if it's stocked or not. I get way better customer service than that at chain pharmacies. Guess this pharmacy doesn't care to attract or retain customers (cuz they had no idea if I was a current customer when they spoke to me). read more

Franklin Pharmacy by far has a Friendly staff, fast, efficient, & knowledgeable staff, and they are stocked with a variety of over the counter products. I would recommend Franklin Pharmacy to anyone. When Franklin pharmacy initially opened the owner and his team at Franklin Pharmacy were great. Awesome customer service and excellent staff that always tried to find you a coupon to lower your prescription price. In more recent years the owner has changed and with that came different staff and what appeared to be lots of turnover and definitely not the same customer service. Last week I ordered my daughters asthma inhaler through their automated system. Today I went to pick it up through the drive thru. It was the only prescription I was picking up for my daughter. As always like many many times before it was put in the bag, I paid for it and was on my way. I got home and pulled the perscription out and it was an inhaler but, not the one I ordered and not the one my daughter needed. I called the pharmacy immediately saying that it wasn't the perscription I had ordered and asked for the money which was over $50 to be reimbursed and that I needed to get the inhaler that I actually filled. The women on the phone was very rude and said they would not refund me and just put me on hold while I was talking. The pharmacist then got on the phone and said that it was my fault for not double checking what I picked up and they filled what came through on the automated system. I said that I ordered the right prescription and that wasn't what was filled and for that I should be reimbursed as I would now have to pay for the actual inhaler I ordered. He kept saying it was my fault and they wouldn't reimburse me. I said that I had been a customer for over 12 years and I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there for me and my families perscriptions and often reccomended their pharmacy to friends and family. He said everyone pays a lot for prescriptions and any pharmacy wouldn't reimburse me. I asked who the current owner was and he said well he is actually here and he said we will not reimburse you. I said well there are many pharmacies in town and I will be taking my business there and the pharmacist said actually there aren't that many pharmacies. Customer service is lost in this world. It is very unfortunate that true customer service is gone and the pharmacy was willing to lose 4 customers who have been loyal for 12 plus years over $53 dollars. The way I was spoken to was wrong and the way I was treated even more wrong. After I got off the phone I immediately found another pharmacy, called them and as of tomorrow will be filling my perscriptions at this new place. I guess the loyal customer print out on the recipet didn't mean anything at the end of the day. read more

I will never use this pharmacy again . The young girls that run the drive thru window and register are extremely rude and unprofessional. I had the E.R. Send a prescription at midnight last night for my 2 year old grandson and when I arrived at 111am they told me to wait 15 minutes it wasn't ready so I sat at the drive thru window waiting . One of the girls came to the window and asked me to move because there phone kept ringing and there was complaints I was sitting so long . Um okay so I did and I got the baby and went inside . The other girl asked me what I needed rudely so I told her I was waiting and it had been over 15 mins at this point . She rolled her eyes and said it would b 10 more minutes , she comes back 10 mins later to tell me the insurance doesn't cover it so I called the E.R and spoke to the helpful lady there . She told me to have them fax it back to get a new prescription so that they can one covered by the insurance. When I let the pharmacy know she said they can't fax anything because there's a refill . I'm really wondering if it's both the girls first day working there because it seemed like it or they just did not want my 2 year old grandson to get his medicine . I hear this place used to be great but not any more. I transferred my mother's prescriptions to this place because they deliver. They constantly made errors on my mother's prescriptions that took days for them to correct. Sometimes they'd show up to deliver and sometimes not. The staff there is not friendly. I went there once with a complaint and the woman just kept looking down at the computer while I was trying to speak with her. I finally told her how rude she was and insisted she look me in the eye while I told her what they made errors on. My mother needed a prescription once and they didn't tell her that they could not get it for over a week. It's a new medication. How could they not get it? They told my 79 year old mother that she had to call around to other pharmacies to see if they had it. Wouldn't you think they would try to find it for her at her age? Just an awful place. We now transferred her prescriptions to CVS at Target, a REAL pharmacy with some actual good customer service. read more

I have used the pharmacy 3 times, after I could not take the local CVS any longer. I have been very disappointed. It took three visits and a week to get one set of RX filled, with the pharmacy not having enough levothyroxine available. (A very common med) Each time I went I stood in line for a long time. Many people were working in the back but only one person was at the counter and she often was answering the phone. This week they said they had to call the doctor. Turns out it took them until day 5 to submit a fax! And I had to pick all medications up on day 8. I opened the package and discovered one medication has only 15/75 pills in it with a note saying they "owed" me. I will switch to mail order. (Too bad my insurance does not cover Walgreens; I liked them.) This pharmacy has the potential of being superior but some way needs to change their organizational practices! read more

My family have been customers of Franklin Pharmacy for years and the steady decline is something that I can no longer ignore. I understand that on some prescriptions the pharmacist just cannot make enough of a profit to make it worthy of his time. However I believe simply being honest or perhaps sending out a memo or even an email to select customers that have the insurance and need the medications that don't allow him to make enough money letting them know they will need to look for a new provider. This would have been a professional move. Sadly this did NOT happen. I was told multiple times your mother's medication is not ready come back later today, come back tomorrow, come back at 3... Then wait for it... the insurance no longer covers this medication. I naturally called the provider of the insurance and found that this was not true. Finally when confronted with the facts the actual truth came out the pharmacist / owner simply wasn't making enough money off of my mother. All the while my mother who is terminally ill and in a daily amount of pain that would drop the strongest to thier knees is waiting for my return with her prescription..... my mother's prescription was not filled not even a final time for her years of being a loyal customer so we could find a new pharmacy. I find it to be very important to promote and support all local businesses within our community. I understand the importance in the camaraderie that it creates within our small town and I also understand the economic necessity to keep our community growing. I will continue to shop and give my time to local businesses with the exception of Franklin Pharmacy. How this situation and my mother were treated is an absolute disgrace and I find the entire thing disgusting. I hope in the future that this pharmacist, This proprietor of Franklin Pharmacy will learn a small bit of empathy, a little bit of kindness, and just a better and more honest way to communicate with his customers. I left a similar review on the Franklin Pharmacy Facebook page, the page was then taken down and my comment erased. We all make choices, and with those choices are consequences. All we can do is hopefully learn from those choices and make better ones in the future. read more

This pharmacy has become an absolute joke. I have been using this pharmacy for over 4 years and just recently it has gone WAY DOWNHILL. I have had to wait DAYS for a prescription to be refilled when it told me it would be ready within a couple hours. The customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. They do not know what they are doing whatsoever. Like I said I have been going here for 4 years and when I went to pick up a prescription last month the worker said that they don't have my insurance on file. I have had the same insurance for 4 years so how they don't have it on file makes absolutely no sense to me. I just went to pick up another prescription today that said it would be ready at 10:00AM and when I showed up at 1:00PM they said they needed ten minutes to refill it and asked me to unpack my two young children from my car and wait for it inside. I would NEVER recommend this pharmacy unless you want to wait days to receive a prescription and receive the crappiest customer service. read more
