Staff was very polite and helpful. We wanted to buy a washer/dryer set and a new refrigerator together so they helped us out on the price for bundling. Had a little mishap getting the dryer loaded on my trailer (little scratch on the front of the dryer) but they made it right. I bought a washer a few years back with their warranty. I told them I needed a heavy duty washer for a family that does a lot of laundry. After the first year we began having problems with it and called out for a technician. The wait time for someone to come out can be days if not weeks. Then you get a time frame for when they may arrive, so you have to take off work for that. In the meantime your dirty laundry is piling up, so you find yourself going to the laundromat and spending $$$! After it finally was repaired, the repair lasted a couple months before I had to have them back again for the same thing! More waiting, more time off work, more money spent at the laundromat. Well, this has happened four times! However these machines are being serviced or not being serviced is probably due to the warranty, and since they not making money on a service call, they don't repair it as completely. Went online to there website on Sunday late night. Purchased new wash machine. Women called next morning saying not in stock. But i do have a maytag 50 dollars more in stock. Or i can order the one you want. I said i take it. She said Wednesday delivery. They showed up took away old wash machine installed new. Its working great. We used frank's Appliance to repair our refridgerator. We took pics before their guy came out just to protect ourselves in case. Well, as it turned out their repair man damaged our fridge and simply denied it even when I provided before and after pics to prove it. Their management team was quick to avoid me when I asked the tech to speak to one of them. All of a sudden, no managers or owners or anyone was available to talk to. So, after our 25 years old microwave gave up we found a need to have to replace it. That turned into a why not replace our 30 year old double oven/stove too! A recommendation was made to visit Frank's Appliance in Manteno. Bob was very welcoming, helpful and informative, and would even ship to Bolingbrook. So, ordered up a new Frigidaire microwave and electric stove. The appliances arrived this past Saturday and in the time window we were promised. We received a phone call from the "guys" that they were on their way. As soon as they arrived, Ryan and Joey began removing the appliances. They were very attentive to their job at task. They did not rush and were very courteous to our home. We were even allowed to vacuum and clean the floor and wall before the new appliances were installed. First, the microwave, which was to be attached under the cabinets. Careful measurements were made for the accuracy of the holes, etc. Next, the stove. They both communicated and worked together as a team for accuracy of the installment. Needless to say, the installment was flawless! No dings, no scratches. We were even given an overview on how to set up, how to use the appliances properly, and what not to do! They were very knowledgeable about the brand! We very much appreciate all the above and beyond the scope of work Ryan and Joey did for us. A BIG thank you to all the staff from start to finish that made our purchase a great success! Willing to give this small business a chance and pay $500 more than the big box retailer hoping for better service. Selected an appliance on a Saturday, they took a large deposit from Debit Card and we were told to call on Monday if we measured and found it would not fit so they did not order it. Called Monday to let them know not to order as it would not fit. Now we have confirmed with their merchant processor that our refund will take 10-14 days, Beware of small business your money will be tied up too long for a purchase that was a maybe. Larger retailers refunded large payments in 48 hours. Very inconvenient. Recommend they take a small deposit until they actually place an order in the future. read more

Until recently, I have always gotten good service from Franks Appliance center, but , two weeks ago , my dryer would only heat now and then, so I called them out. They came out on Christmas Eve and told my husband to clean all of the dryer vents. So, my husband did that, but thedryer would still not heat. So, I called Franks' Appliance Cenetr again and they sent back the same service man. Of Course, when he came out, the dryer started to heat,but stopped heating right after he left. I called again, sp that the serviceman could come back and see that the dryer was not heating, Theyb said that he would call me back. No phone call--- I called for two more days---No return call from the serviceman--Finally, I got mad and called and told them that I was going to write a review on them and, of course, then, the serviceman called back. The last message I got from the serviceman was that he would call on Thurs., after New Years' Day---Still no phone call and its' Thursday, at 11 o'clock----Forget it, Franks' Appliance, I am going to go to Sears and buy a new dryer with their service agreement.You have lost a client!! read more

I went to franks appliance because I thought I would get better service from a local company. Not from this company anyway!!! I was very specific I wanted a washer that was for heavy duty clothing my husband gets very dirty at work. The employee insisted that speed queen even though more expensive than all the other brands would be what I was asking for, I purchased it. I think it's garbage it doesn't clean anything!!! my family is even breaking out I'm guessing because our towels, wash cloths and bedding are not getting clean. I showed them a ring of dirt on jeans I washed twice that didn't come out they said they would give me a cheaper washer if I would pay more I feel scammed and a friend had a similar experience w Best Buy and they took full care of her at no cost till she was happy. I will NEVER buy from franks again nor will my family. It's almost like they did not care what I was asking for and just sold me the most expensive washer they had. I knew growing up not to buy from Franks but when my husband and father in law went looking for a new washer and dryer they ignored my warning and went here anyways. I have had this washer and dryer for two years now and a repairman out every two months since I got them. First the dryer broke right away and needed a new part. Then shortly after the washer broke and needed a minor repair so I was told. After about 6 months of him coming out and not fixing it it finally ended up replacing the entire insides. BUT now we have issues all the time with the lid not locking so it won't work. Well yet again we have the same problem we had last time. I am sure he will come out with no parts just to tell me the same shut and another 3-6 months to fix it. Do not buy from here and if you already made that mistake get a different repair company to come out. Maybe it will get fixed right the first time. read more
