We found that invoices were altered after the fact, with hidden or unexplained charges added. Moreover, after agreeing to work, we realized that the owner and staff did not obtain the required permits for some of the work, and the company acted like that is not an issue. The company has had good reviews, which we used to select them, but we now know that they are starting to go bad and are finding ways to take advantage of hardworking people. They talked about reviews all of the time, and we now know that they push people to write good reviews. Look more closely and beware because they will seduce you with smiles and tons of details on invoices. Make sure that they follow the rules, check everything, and verify that all required permits are properly filed before work begins. Be careful of the salespeople that they use to push you to take your money and break the law. This is not acceptable in our small town or even in our country.

I was looking to have our boiler system repaired, first technician said it was a bad ignitor, which it was not. Second technician said it was a bad pressure switch, which was ordered and installed. Boiler ran constantly and would not shut down, even after thermostat temperature was attained. Third diagnosis was another switch (since the first one installed was incorrect). After that installation boiler ran constantly, without burners ever coming on. Total incompetence, with no apologizes. $500 dollars later, and still no functional boiler. We called RCM heating who came out that day and had the boiler properly fixed and running within an hour! Do not call JTR unless you want to waste your money! Mr. H
