He asked a bunch of questions about what kind of haircut I wanted before he started working. As he was cutting, he asked additional questions to make sure he was delivering what I wanted. So grateful to Frank. My son's Occupational Therapist recommended Frank because of his kindness and finesse with kids who have fear or sensory concerns related to hair cutting. He came outside to greet my son with a friendly fist bump and introduction. He gave him a very colorful cape and explained what he would be doing (scissors not clippers as the buzz from the clippers distresses my guy). Tears evaporated and were replaced with smiles. Men's haircut and Child's hair cut. Carlos cut my son's hair and my husband's hair. Best haircut my son has ever had, haircut was done extremely well. He hasn't really liked haircuts because he mentions that they hurt him with the clippers no complaints from him that day. It was clean cut, we requested tapered. Too bad we were only driving by and don't live close enough to be able to get a haircut here. But we will be definitely be stopping by anytime we drive by this area. Don't bother scheduling an APPOINTMENT they don't honor APPOINTMENTS on my second visit a couple more clients who set appointments having to wait just as long as a 45-60 minutes NO APOLOGIES!! Either way who wants to pay $20 and wait forever for a turd? There are plenty of other places that want your business!! im gonna be real honest this place is awful and if your reading this stay away because I wrnt there happy and excited for a haircut and left crying wishing I never went in.So I asked for a simple fade on the bottom and to not touch the top and halfway through the cut I asked him if I could check and the top was cut short when the top wasent even supposed to be cut and there was no fade and I was basically bald on the sides and they charged me 30$ for the worst haircut in the world so my tip is stay away and if you do go don't get sat with _isaiahblendz that's his instagram so you should be carful now. read more

Went in and asked for scissors only on the back and cut the bangs because for some reason barbers don't know how to do that nowadays. Walked out with the back of my head shaved which is exactly what I didn't want and didn't ask for and my bangs still long. Got a haircut for my son and husband. Great friendly staff, really took their time (not a bad thing) and both haircuts turned out even better than we imagined. Last week Saturday I needed to get a haircut so I walked in Frank's shop and it wasn't really busy maybe one other person and four different barbers after I pick my barber I sit down and he's asking what kind of haircut I want i tell him and he starts cutting my hair but I immediately just get the feeling like this guy doesn't know what he's doing or he just doesn't care about my haircut cause he was sitting down while cutting my hair and this guy is like 5'4 and I'm 6'3' he was barley reaching my head sitting down and I end up telling him hey can you stand up while your cutting my hair if I'm paying I would like you cut my hair standing up and he says "nah your gonna get a good haircut trust" I looked at him and said no thanks and got up and asked anyone else if they could help me out and they all just ignored me. I used to cut my hair with the same person for a long time. I would move where ever she moved. I would go on her schedule. Well at one point I decided to make it convenient for myself. Had a great experience. Was going to be in Indio for Thanksgiving and my 14 and 16 year old needed haircuts. Found this barber through google search. I called one day in advance and he told me though they weren't taking appointments on the day before Tanksgiving I should come in early and shouldn't have to wait long. Got there at 8:15 and there was only one person ahead of us. There were 3 barbers and they were all great. I'm African American and one of my boys had a shaved side fade kinda Kid and Play style and the other traditional fade. the barbers were professional, detailed, very skilled and quick still producing great quality. While waiting saw them work on a non African American little boy and a gentleman whose cuts were different but also very nice. Every time I'm in Indio Indio I would definitely take the men in my family there. The true test, my teenage boys thought the cuts were fresh. Thanks! read more
