There are a few shops that meet the standards of quality, craftsmanship, and service. For those who don't understand the service aspect of a barber shop, it's a barber shop or barber being on time, following through with their promises, and most importantly ... "understanding what the meaning of the fade and taper truly means" Frank is a man of his word and asks all the right questions to make sure he and his clients are on the same page before starting the process. Showing a photo is also highly recommended. I found him on yelp while I was in the area for a business meeting 2 months ago and since then, travel from DTLA for a perfect cut. Walk-ins are welcome!!! For the foodies read on!! Frank knows where the best local and authentic Mexican spots are! From tacos to panaderias, stop by for a fresh fade and explore the local area food too! There were times were I was taken care by Caesar (one of Franks many talented barbers) when I needed a cut asap for interviews. Give this place a shot. I always leave Frank's feeling like a boss.

I've been coming here regularly for over a year and a half, and it's just a solid, reliable place to get a great haircut. I never feel like I'm overpaying, the cut is always exactly what I want, and the overall vibe is comfortable and easygoing. I don't have to overthink anything--if I want something different, I can say it, but most of the time I just trust Orlando and let him do his thing because he's consistently on point. Frank, the owner, is always cutting nearby, and I enjoy the conversations whenever we cross paths. All the barbers here do great work, but I personally lean toward my guy Orlando. I'm in weekly now, and it's become part of my routine because I know I'm walking out looking sharp every time. read more

I was looking for a new barber shop for my 2 boys because with their old barber last time they did a terrible job and it seemed like they didn't care anymore so I started looking for something around and saw Frank's had good reviews. My boys were so nervous at first but these guys are professional and friendly so the experience was smooth. They came out so happy that i will definitely bring them back here from now on. I called the day of to book an appointment for my younger brother and they were able to squeeze him in for that same day. We arrived and they helped my brother right away. He had extremely long, curly hair and wanted a particular hair cut which the barber was able to do. My brother loved the experience because he wouldn't stop talking about it. He has also been getting lots of compliments on his new haircut so I think that's a pretty good sign that he'll definitely ask to go back to Frank's again. read more

I am here to comments for a Frank. I know him long times since first time met him at training center and I felt so comfortable with him. I know him more than 12 years! I am really sad that, he was lost his best friend, that's where he working at training center. He is awesome guy as Frank. I am very proud of him because he did DREAM to be owner by Franks barbershop! His best friend in the heaven and he watch YOU! He really proud of Frank! He really working so hard! If I can give this place a "0" I would. I waited 2 and a half hours for a haircut. He kept on skipping me to cut his friends hair I finally ask him am I next he said yes then another friend came and he cut his hair. He shouldn't have lied about taking walkins. Finally he was able to squeeze me in and he only took 20min to cut my hair it was the fastest cut I got in my life! I ask for a mid fade and got a high fade. I will never go back to this place! And to make things worse my house living room is bigger then this whole place! There restroom is bigger then there haircutting:waiting area! THE Place is SUPER SMALL!!! It was such a bad experience I took time out of. Y day to make yelp page to address this. read more

WASTE OF TIME. I called at 1:30 and they said no appointments necessary today all walk ins. I get there at 3:30 to a locked door with the lights on. I come back at 5 it's still closed. read more

I walked in to cut my 3 boys's hair. They say they don't cut small kids hair. Mind you my son is 3 and does good when they cut his hair. So then I asked for a haircut for the 2 oldest and then they said both of the barbers need to take a lunch. I guess they didn't need my business. I don't recommend this place. So much for the good reviews on yelp. read more

Franks been my only barber since day one. Been following him around for a minute. Anyone that knows him knows his spot is a1. Its like getting a cut by the hands of god lol no lie. You know they say your barber is the one that decides whether you pull bitches or get roasted by your boys all weekend and my guy frank has never let me down. The cut is worth the wait. I was in search of a new barber previous barber shop is a fire hazard! So I walked in nice and clean shop and good vibes, Frank was out getting his lunch so I waited about 1 hour his lunch and 1 client b4 me no biggie he also gets hungry. Wow! Frank gets down with his skills! Other patrons say that Friday's and Saturday's big crowd not on Wednesday's. Found me a new barber. Let's keep business local! read more

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I'm visiting family so I needed a haircut because I'm here for roughly a month. I really enjoyed this place as the staff is very friendly, wait was about an hour and a half, it was busy on a Friday in the afternoon and I was a walk-in so I understood the wait. The service itself was great, I did give this place a 5star but i had 2 issues. My haircut was a bit off from the edges of my part, as a lot of long hairs were left and not evened out (that's an honest mistake) and also parking was very limited. Worse barber shop I been to! First I go inside and this place is super small there isn't anywhere to sit to in standing then when seats come available I finally sit down and wait. I was there for over an hour there was only one barber that never greeted me. When I thought I was next someone got on his chair I ask him when am I next he said doesn't know he's going to see if he can get me when he has time he only does appointments. I was so pissed odd. The barbershop is nice, clean, smells good and fresh with a/c. The guy who cut me (name starts with a G) did a good job, a really good one:) the machines he uses seem way higher quality than other barbers I've been to, and they feel really good when he cuts my hair.
