Wow, what a find! We were traveling through Casper and hungry so I did a search on Apple Maps and found this place. Exceeded all expectations. Honestly the best meal of our 3 day road trip. It's a butcher, a liquor store and a restaurant. The restaurant is very small, just consists of the bar seats and 1 long family style table. But it was absolutely perfect. I ordered the sangria, which was so good. My husband had a beer. We got the jalapeno poppers as an appetizer, SO good! Then I got a filet mignon as my meal. I went to the butcher, picked it out and handed it to the waiter. They cooked it perfectly and it came with a side. My husband got the Reuben, said it was great. This place is such a unique and amazing concept coupled with excellent food and even better service! Don't skip over this place! read more

It was fantastic we ate first then visited the butcher area to take food home. Sorry to say, I had a burger here-in cattle country, and it was one of the worst burgers I ever had, tough and flavorless, but expensive. Went to the Ellis Island Casino Village pub and had the best burger of my life (Angus beef cooked well done as well but so juicy and flavorful, with a nice crust, that my husband who likes medium rare, loved it and wanted to eat it). Frank's is just awesome. From concept to reality it just works. They built a brand new building and designed it exactly for their needs. Franks first off is a butcher shop selling beef from their own ranch and other locally sourced ranches in Wyoming. Yes they do have pork to including bacon that they hickory smoke themselves. In addition to both fresh and frozen meat all vacuum sealed, they make their own sausage, hot dogs, meat sticks, pastrami, and mouth watering hickory smoked jerky. They also dry age steaks for sale or you can buy your own chunk of meat and have them dry age it for you. They also have multiple book cases of dry and wet spices and sauces for your meats. The next 1/3 of the store is a liquor/wine/beer store. At the end of the beer cooler doors is one door dedicated to cheeses, pickled everything, and more of what you would need to make an awesome cheese plate. One corner of the store slightly hidden is a 10-12 seat little bar where they seem to secretly serve up cocktails, draft beer and small food plates made with the food they sell. They are famous for their huge Bloody Mary with their own meats and cheeses on the stir stick. This place really has it all and has the most friendly ready to help employees. My favorites up to date from a years worth of purchases include the bone in ribeyes, the bacon wrapped filet mignons, the Dill Pickle flavored meat sticks, the hickory smoked jerky, and the Fenugreek seed Gouda cheese wedges. read more

Best burger in town IMO, and I'm not even a burger person. Love having their ranch with fries. Some other places the ranch just looks like it and that's about it... but here it's super yummy. In fact I'd even buy it if they bottled it. Can tell them how you like your meat cooked, which is nice (if you remember, otherwise just how they make it is good too). The workers have always treated me friendly each time I've called or popped in, which I also appreciate. Also tried a bag of jerky, the Philly sandwich, and the steak salad, which were also excellent. Can't wait to try some of the other things I haven't tried yet. read more
