Great atmosphere and great food. This place is small but has such a good vibe. From the chef to the cashier and prep guy they are all very friendly and talkative I feel like they knew everyone that walked in the door. I had the sweet beef sandwich with sauce very good the sweet peppers make this sandwich. My husband had the western burger and loved it. The fries are fresh and hand cut there very good and crisp. The Mac n cheese is so good hot fresh and gooey. I can't believe we have never heard of this place before we will definitely be back.

Today I tried the turkey & Swiss on croissant roll. The turkey is from a fresh roasted turkey off the bone. The meat is tender and succulent and tasty. A side order of fresh cut russet French fries potatoes. Fresh brewed iced tea all of this for $12 and some change. The service is great the guys engage in friendly chatter with the customers with the open kitchen atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quick service and reasonable prices to boot. read more

Food was great! We got the last burger though, so get there early! Once they are out, they are out! We had the pulled pork mac and cheese too. If you are a macaroni and cheese fan, this is for you! So creamy and delicious!! I can't believe we didn't know this place existed. The service was great and everyone customers and the Franks employee family were all so happy and everyone was chatting with everyone else. Just a perfect place for lunch tucked away on Main Street! read more

Went for lunch on Tuesday, got a bacon cheeseburger, hand cut French fries, and Mac and cheese. Let me tell you, they know what they are doing. Everything fresh, handmade, and delicious. They make their own bacon and roast whole turkeys. The owners were there and making the food. So happy to support this local restaurant and will be back for sure because it was just so good. read more

We stopped here for lunch after touring the George Rodgers Clark National Park. It is a small diner in downtown that was packed for lunch. The place was warm and inviting and some locals even invited us to sit with them and eat because all the tables were full. I had the Italian beef sandwich (soaked) and the loaded potato salad. The sandwich was excellent, the bun was soaked from the au jus. The potato salad was unlike any I have had and I really enjoyed it. This was an excellent stop for us on our travels this week. read more

My wife and I were downtown today and decided at the last minute to grab lunch at Frank's. Highly recommend! We were greeted warmly when we walked in the door. They quickly explained how things worked there. We both ordered burgers, mine with fries, the wife with mac n cheese. Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well. A nice little spot for lunch! The meat is top notch and delicious. The Italian beef is very good! And the spicy giardiniera is super tasty and fresh! They have sweet and super spicy as well. The four cheese mac is so cheesy! The mac and cheese was just a little bland, but with the spice and flavor of the Italian beef, it balanced pretty well! Great atmosphere and super friendly! By pushing at the local CVB for better information on local eateries that weren't members, they casually mentioned this smokehouse with one of the best burgers I've had in the region. They grind their own Indiana grown beef into a nice sized patty. They recommended the Chupacabra which featured fried jalapenos and a creamy house made sauce from cotija cheese, softening the heat. A nice little texture to a well-made burger. Fries are also housemade. Great gem of a place. read more

Me and my buddies went here on a random friday. Not expecting much just a good old fashioned cafe/restaurant but boy did they exceed our expectations by a landslide. Best burger I have ever had and all my friends said the same. Excellent service. The man gave us an extra fry because he accidentally made another batch.
