This place is AMAZING!! Great food, plenty of beers on tap, fantastic people and the manager is a sweetheart! They take very good care of you here! The pizzas are delicious and I highly recommend the Chicago cheesesteak rolls!

I love to try local favorites and this was great! We stopped in for lunch before taking a tour of Vincennes University. The staff was friendly and attentive & the restaurant was clean We started with Italian Nachos...layered with sausage, pepperoni, cheese & peppers served with marinara & basil, it was delicious. We both had the pizza/salad lunch special. The salads were fresh, crisp and huge! I had the thin and crispy pineapple and mushroom & it was very good. When in this area, I would definitely stop back in. Fun sports bar atmosphere with craft beers and great food.

I've been here twice, both times the service was not good, staff walking around and leave you wandering when you will be waited on.. the first time I ordered a personal pizza and when it finally arrived the waitress explained they accidentally made a large pizza instead but wouldn't charge me for the difference. That time the pizza was good. My 2nd visit just yesterday I ordered the large pizza and what was brought out didn't come close to fitting the size of the pan. When I said to the waitress I ordered the large she stated that is the large and she walked away. I snapped a picture, then later the waitress asked how everything was and I explained I'm still upset at the size of the pizza and said it doesn't even come to the edges of the pan. She stated she would get the manager. Again finally the manager arrived and I showed her the picture, she said nope that's right. All of our large pizzas look like that. I explained I had been there before and the large did not look like this and she "promised " the dough is always the same and that is what the large looks like. She did not care that I was upset and she did nothing to make my visit any better.. I then looked up the website and compared pictures of pizzas offered and none of them looked like what I was served... my first time there the food was good and service was bad, 2nd time there food and service was bad.. I can not recommend this place to anyone and am upset this restaurant that is high priced feels it can be so dismissive to their patrons when clearly there is a problem. Dough on my pizza was still raw. Not cooked throughout. The staff have always been kind and helpful though.

A beautiful space with a kind, attentive staff. I appreciate the many beers offered and the buffalo wings were very good.

One of the cleanest restaurants I've seen! Friendly staff and excellent food. I haven't had a dish that I haven't liked from here.

The food is alright. The atmosphere is good. Each time we have been in the waitresses we're kind of rude and not the best!

In fact, one said that the Happy Hour had catered his wedding. So we came in during lunch in good spirits, but the food just didn't deliver. I ordered the grilled tenderloin with fries (it was the daily special). The tenderloin had almost no flavor and was pounded out unevenly so it fell apart as I was trying to eat it. The sandwich was served on toasted white bread which is something I have never seen in my many years of Hoosier tenderloin eating. The fries were your standard, straight-out-of-the-bag-from-the-freezer variety, and they weren't seasoned at all. Copious amounts of salt and pepper were required to make them palatable. As for the decor, I wasn't really expecting much as there are basically 2 restaurants in Celestine and they're both sports bars. So the Happy Hour looks like a sports bar. The tables and chairs aren't particularly comfortable (they use standard banquet chairs) and there are some TVs around. And that's it. It was cheap (~$9) and the sweet tea was pretty good. If I was ever in Celestine again, I'd try the other sports bar before coming back to the Happy Hour. However, if the other place wasn't any better, I would probably drive to the next town to eat rather than come back here.

Scanning the food places we picked this because it seemed to have decent ratings and a lot of reviews. Plus, you get go wrong with good ol' American cuisine. The first kind of hiccup is that they must have recently moved building. Though they moved right next to their existing building, there was no signage and we had to rely on our own eyeballs. Which almost led us into the wrong building. Not a bid deal, realistically, but it threw us for a loop. Getting inside, it was super clean. Long bar, plenty of tables, modern, many tvs for many sports. Plus, the building itself seemed rather large. A chonker of a building, if you ask me. Our hostess brought us into what seemed like the back 40 of the building and seated us next to a garage door that overlooked a cement pad that will one day be a cement pad with things on it. Not even mad. Saw a train. Here's the money shot. Have you ever been happy adjacent? Have you ever been right up to the edge, the precipice, the peak, then turn around and leave? That was kind of the ideal feeling here. The ambiance and service and general-ness of the entire place was spot on. The food itself looked top-tier. But it felt a click away from perfection. Let's look into it. As a hefty man (fat, not the garbage bag brand), I'm a man of appetizers. Also of wings. Therefore, sign me up for 12 bone in wings for an app. Split into three flavors: Carolina BBQ, Buffalo, and regular BBQ. They came out looking and smelling delicious. The sauce flavors hit hard. But I was a little let down with the dryness of the wings. I know sometimes it can be difficult to knock a wing out of the park because those damn things just want to get crispy. But I don't want to fight chewing the meat off the bone. It felt like a battle me and my mush mouth would lose. Now, from what I understood, all sides were a la cart. Color me fine with that, fatty will order anyways. Especially since I saw they offered street corn AND hushpuppies. So naturally, that's what I ordered. The hushpuppies came out and were the round kind. Which I am no stranger to. They had good flavor, good done-ness, but missed the mark on the size. If they were hush people, they would have been premies. A little sad they didn't get to experience their full potential. Now, for this part I will say I was forewarned. My server did mention the street corn came in a bowl and was served cold. I thought I was better than somebody who judged street corn by its temperature. I was wrong. It did come cold. And because of that, it was not tasty. Missed the mark completely. I did get a bonus side, your typical, run of the mill French fry. They came out and looked great. Meadiu
