This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. They basically sent a guy with a rag and a squeegee. He refused to remove a screen from a window (he acted like he has never come across a screen in a window in NYC in his life). Then he only was able to clean 3/4 of a few windows because he said he couldn't "reach" the rest. I would assume a professional cleaning company would have tools for this? Nope.. So I was left with a guy who kept saying he had to leave without doing his job. Stay away from this company at all costs. I literally could have done what this guy did myself with a rag and some soap. read more

I disregarded the negative reviews on this site because they seemed dated. That was a mistake. I had an appointment today for "between 11:00 and 1:00." At about 12:45 someone called to say the cleaner would be here "between 1:00 and 1:30." At 2:00 I called the company. The person who answered the phone said "The cleaner had to run an errand or something." It is now 2:15 and he's still not here. This is completely unreasonable. read more

Why is there no zero star review available? Window washer supposed to be here between 10-12. At 12:10 I call. They have no clue, call me back five minutes later. Guy running an hour late. It never occurred to the washer to call and say he was running late? It never occurred to the condescending jerks who answer the phone to tell their people to give a heads up when they are running late? This is not genius stuff to figure out, people. You go into a job, see it is going to take longer than you think, and alert people. Neither person I spoke with on the phone would give a name, so I can't tell you of whom you should be wary. I had a noon appointment. At 10:30 a.m. I get a call saying that the window cleaner is in the lobby. And the scheduling mix up was just the beginning Washer did a mediocre job. He was sloppy. He left traces of dirty water around the window areas. The worst part was his bad attitude. Lots of eye rolling, hard to understand, very rude. He asked that I call my friends in the building to see if they needed their windows washed. Very unpleasant experience. I cannot recommend. My fault for not checking with Yelp first. read more

My windows are clean and the gentleman who came to clean them was professional and worked very hard. However, I had an appointment at 9 AM and when nobody was at my apartment by 9:10 AM I called to find out if my appointment was still being honored. I was squeezing this in before work and didn't want to be delayed. The woman who answered the phone was nice and helpful, but not apologetic when I told her that the window cleaner was late. When I informed her that he was supposed to be there 10 minutes ago she said it is a one hour window he can arrive between 9 and 10 AM. That would information would've been helpful when I scheduled the appointment. The cleaner hadn't left the shop yet and she told me he would be there in 45 minutes. He arrived at 10am. The cleaner apologize for being late when he arrived and got right down to work. It's always been my experience that window cleaners price out the cost of cleaning my windows upon arrival and this was in keeping with my past window cleaning experiences. Each window is $10 and they add extra charges for double size windows and cleaning the soot out of the bottom of the windowsills. Overall I was happy with the quality of the work. I would suggest that the cleaners use the bathtub instead of the kitchen sink to fill their slop bucket, but I was glad the cleaner took off his shoes upon arrival. I knocked off a few stars for having to wait an hour. My time is valuable. read more

My experience with this company was extremely frustrating. I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance and was given an 11-1 time slot. I took time away form work and scheduled my entire day around the appointment. At 12:45, we were still waiting and I had to call to find out if someone was coming. I was told that the cleaner was running late and would get to my apartment around 2. (I'm not sure why nobody reached out to me to let me know that he was going to be late). Then when he finally arrived, we were told it was a two-person job because we have double-paned windows. While I can understand that he may not have been able to do it himself, the gentleman I spoke with when I made the appointment asked me no questions and gave me no indication that there are some jobs that their employees are not equipped for. As the customer, and as someone who is not a window specialist, I feel it is not my responsibility to foresee such problems. I was told that they don't know how to clean those types of windows and was referred to another company. So here I am, having wasted most of the day, dealing with incompetent and apathetic people...and I have to start form scratch. I would stay far away from this company. read more
