AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! Over the past 4 and a half months, I have experienced repeated delays, misinformation, financial burdens, and overall negligence that have left me without my vehicle for a total of 130 days (and counting). Incident #1 (Aug 7 - Sept 16, 2024): My truck was in the shop for over a month, and I was provided with misleading information regarding my rental car coverage. Despite my warranty covering $40/day, I was left with unexplained extra charges. I was bounced between Fraser Chrysler and Enterprise multiple times. Enterprise staff was EXCELLENT, Fraser Chrysler should take notes. After weeks of waiting for a part with no tracking information, I escalated to now Ex Service Manager Chris Mitchell, who resolved the issue within minutes--highlighting the clear incompetence in communication from my assigned service advisor, Laura Gage. Incident #2 (Dec 9, 2024 - Jan 15, 2025): On Dec 4, I reported severe steering issues that caused me to nearly crash my truck and urged that I needed to drop my truck off to their lot (this is where I purchased my truck anyways) and was told no space was available until Dec 9. I had to rent a car at my own expense while waiting for another warranty authorization and repair. Again, my service advisor failed to provide tracking details, despite my warranty company confirming the part had arrived days earlier. When I confronted Fraser Chrysler about this, they falsely claimed the part had been damaged, sent back, and replaced--all within an unrealistic timeframe. Which turned out to be incorrect and factually false. When I finally received my truck back, it was in worse condition. Within four hours, it became undriveable again. I demanded Fraser tow it back, and the response from management was dismissive. I was eventually given a loaner that had less than 50km of gas mileage, and upon further investigation, found that the differential installed on my truck was likely damaged and improperly sourced. Incident #3 (Jan 15 - Present, 2025): After further issues, Fraser Chrysler diagnosed a transfer case failure. I was promised updates but received no communication for weeks. When I personally followed up, I was told the part was not yet received, though my warranty company had no record of the order. More delays followed, and after multiple ignored calls, I finally learned my truck would go into the shop on Feb 7. After installation of the transfer case, the truck still could not steer. It was discovered that the rear differential installed during Incident #1 had the wrong gear ratio, meaning Fraser Chrysler installed an incorrect, unverified part on my truck last year. On Feb 27, my warranty provider confirmed that it is impossible for them to supply incorrect parts--proving Fraser Chrysler's ongoing mismanagement. I have now been without my truck for 130 days and have suffered extreme financial and emotional stress. Fraser Chrysler has offered zero accountability, no urgency, and no compensation for my time, rental expenses, and vehicle payments for a truck I do not even have. Be carefull of the feedback you provide in the online survey you receive from Jeep Canada / FCA Canada / Stellantis about your recent service experience at a Jeep Dealership. I received a survey from Jeep Canada / FCA Canada asking me about my recent experience with the Fraser Chrysler Oshawa Dealership service department, a Jeep Dealership I have been dealing with since 2021 following the purchase of a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from said Dealership. My latest experience with the Fraser Chrysler Oshawa service department was so poor and it inconvenienced me so much that it warranted a detailed feedback about my experience and that's what I did in that survey from Jeep Canada. My detailed feedback in the online survey following a routine maintenance check with tire rotation was detailed and factual: as soon as I got into the vehicle and drove off the lot I expeienced heavy vibration on the steering wheel, loud squeaky sound coming from the front driver side when breaking both of which were not there before, and on the day I brought the vehicle to get these new issues fixed, I had to one of their rude service team members who told me that there was a note on profile about finding isses with my vehicle. When I expeienced the issues with my vehicle that were not there before the Sevice Manager went out with me and said "I know exactly what the technician did wrong here. Bring the vehicle in first thing tomorrow AM (I will not be at the dealership tomorrow, but Tara would take care of you) and we wll take care of this for you at no cost." - must of got the attention of the team at Jeep Canada / FCA Canada because I received a follow-up survey email from Jeep Canada / FCA Canada asking me if I received a called from Fraser Chrysler Oshawa about my feedback in the recent survey and I was given an opportunity again in that survey email to provide more information particularly about my experience with one of the rude service team members when I brought the vehicle in the next morning as per the Service Manager's request. Both issues were fixed to my delight and I thanked the service team for fixing the two new issues. Today I called Fraser Chrysler Oshawa to book an appointment to rotate my tires which is part of my service agreement with them and I had the call back 3 times because I was placed on hold for so long on each occasion which is something I had never experienced in my four years bringing my car for service at this dealership. When i finally got through to service, I was put on hold again for a considerably longer time by one of their service team members (Tara) who eventually came back on the line and said "Neil we have a message on your profile that says you are not happy with our service here at Fraser Chrysler so we feel it is best that you find another dealership to take your vehicle to." I wasn't surprised by this dealership's response to my rather candid feedback in the online survey from Jeep Canada (I actually one a $250 gift card from Fraser Chrysler last year for completing a survey where I gave the team 5/5 for amazing service) . What I am surprised at though, is that there not more Google Reviews about the sometimes poor and rather rude reception you get from some of the service team members at Fraser Chrysler Oshawa dealership and "hosing" that are sometimes done by the sevice consultants to get you to spend more money at the dealership. Hoping that this dealership someday understands how they can use customer feedback surveys to improve customer servicento attract and retain customers , because at the end of the day there are no exceptions to exceptional customer service. read more

I highly recommend finding another dealership to deal with. I wasted money having them diagnose an issue that they falsely identified and wanted to charge me $800+ to fix, which would have been a waste of money as they missed the gaping hole in my vacuum line. They were unable to locate the massive cut in a vacuum line that I paid them to diagnose, instead had to bring it to another dealership who found the actual issue promptly instead of claiming it was another issue and trying to overcharge me. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere, their service department has no idea what their talking about and their service manager is rude and argumentative. read more

They desperately tried selling us a vehicle we didn't even want. Did not appreciate a high pressure sales team. Offered much less for our trade in than it was worth and talked as if tiny repairs were huge expensive issues. I am a young professional with a strict budget, I went in looking for a new vehicle (Dodge Ram) and we were about $100 per month apart. Unfortunately we couldn't come to a deal. Their sales rep Nangy contacted me again a few weeks later and said come back in I can do a little better and we'll get you set up. So after a night shift I went by the dealership to hammer out the numbers and purchase my new vehicle. To my disbelief Nangy had no previous paperwork for my visit and didn't even remember the truck I was looking at. Nangy managed to downgrade the vehicle (Went from a Hydro package to a basic express) and tried to charge me an additional $6000 on the vehicle. When I asked why he would call me back in, say he can do a better deal for the truck and then downgrade the truck for a higher price point he had no response, he just sat on his phone and texted... I am completely turned off by the dealership and Chrysler as a company. Absolute waste of time and pathetic service. read more

Called to get my 2016 dodge ram 1500 truck serviced and was passed over to a service coordinator who was on break. Left a message. Waited for over a half an hour for a call back and then went and got my service done somewhere else. I would not recommend Chrysler products since it is impossible to keep up the warranty when none of the dealerships will provide you any service - have been trying to get service for months! What an awful place to bring your vehicle from the terrible customer service all the way down to untrained and unqualified mechanics. If you care about your vehicle please do not bring it to these people. After they have your money they couldn't care less about the mess they've left you to clean up yourself. I came here to have the ebrake on my jeep fixed and have never regretted anything more. My ebrake lever and actuator had seized on both sides (found afterwards and fixed by myself). They're solution was to replace the shoes and call it a day. They wouldn't offer compensation after I confronted them and with my new findings as they work order THEY wrote said ebrake shoes only. I trusted them to find the solution and fix it. They tried to sell me new rotors and a caliper for the rear end. I explained that I planned to do that myself later and to fix the ebrake only... that's what they wrote on the order... and their work orders are law. If you against your better judgement use this place make sure you spell it out for them in simplistic terms they can understand. I pray you never have to deal with either of their service managers. Manager Andrew is a pushy, rude, condescending scammer and his employees can't answer a single question let alone use the washroom I am sure without consulting him first. Worst of all we were shown a fake Car Fax for our Dodge Ram showing it as clean. Come to trade in vehicle only to find out it had an over $11,000 fire claim prior to us purchasing it!!! Absolutely not impressed with the parts department person at all. I called about getting a replacement key for my locking lug nuts and I was told I can't get a new key from them because it didn't come with locking lug nuts. That was a lie, all Chrysler products come with locking lug nuts. I don't appreciate when being lied to from people that are supposed to help you. I will never send Durham Chrysler any business ever. If the owner reads this and cares how his employee has made his dealership look, I hope he takes the time and corrects this type of behavior. read more

I don't like calling the service girls there, they are too argumentative I do have a piece of mind to say, I'll try to make this quick. Spring this year my 2013 Dodge dart would start but not switch into gear. had car towed to Durham Dodge. Where my son told them it was probably the Clutch master seal leaking( because he saw in on the internet), seems to be a common problem with this car. Dealer said they checked that and it was not the problem, they would have to drop the tranny to check the clutch, and this would cost well over a 1,000. Turns out my son was right but was too late, clutch was dropped, money spent. I call BS!!! Later in the summer I lost all power while driving the car, once again had it towed to Durham Dodge. This time they said the Turbo was gone in the Dart and would cover it under Warrantee. 2 weeks later a hose popped off the turbo( poor workmanship?). covered again, I guess crap happens? Yesterday the Dart wouldn't start, all power on, just wouldn't start. Terrified to tow it Back to Durham Dodge, I had a tow truck tow it to another shop all the way in Scarborough. where they found 3 transmission bolts from dropping the transmission were loose and shaking around, as well as bolts from the starter, making the wire to the starter bust off.. OMG So now I'm sitting in Scarborough while I wait for the delivery of a fixed starter because of (poor Workmanship.) As a dodge family, and previous owners of 5 other dodges I will say that we will no be buying dodge anymore. Stuff happens with cars, and we get that. but when we know the problem, and they drop the tranny anyway charging an extra 800$ for doing that, and then they don't put it back in properly, you have lost my trust. Not Impressed with this place at all! Bought a 2016 Ram, as soon as you sign the deal, it's like they don't know you! The salesmen Clarke is useless. When we complained to sales manager, he did nothing! My truck has a recall on it, so I called to get into be fixed. They told me they were waiting for part and would call me when it's in. Went to look at a jeep, bought it and right after buying it, it's like they forgot who you were. They didn't have it ready on time for pickup. The engine light came on the following day, and they said its the gas sensor. I think not, a few months later I took it to my mechanic and I needed a catylic converter. But I didn't both going back to dealership because the service was so poor. Recently, after searching everywhere else for a jeep part I couldn't order anywhere else I went back to the dealership. The service/parts guys acted like they'd rather be anywhere else than there, not friendly, and not organized. A simple 'hello', 'how are you' or 'can we help you' would be an improvement. Actually caring would work to. If again I need to deal with a dealership for a part, I'll go elsewhere. read more
