This place is amazing. 10 stars. Have been coming here for 20 years (I'm 32 now). Someone needs to give the OG guy a golden retriever puppy and a huge tip.... Someone really works hard behind the scenes and I think it's him. But the guy looks sorta sad these days, I wonder what happened. We need to make sure this place stays around. I have lived in the community for 30 years and have frequented this store. Today was shocking. I have never been treated in such a rude, disrespectful and dismissive manner. When I came into the store last week I had such a great experience but the pump I was sold was not the right pump for my basement. I trusted their staff and never thought twice about returning the pump and hose. When I got to the store I was told there are no refunds or store credits provided. This is not stated on the receipt nor are there signs present stating this restrictive policy. I also called another store and they confirmed that what I was told and how I was treated was appalling. They told me what the return policy is and I confirmed this online. I am within the return policy. Unfortunately, the owner Dan told me it's my problem although I purchased something based on his employees recommendation. I even showed the employee pictures of my basement flooding to make sure I got the right pump but mistakes happen and now it's my problem. I will drive out of my way to go to Home Depot or Lowes. read more

I was at Frasers Hardware this morning and decided that it was time I write a review. Maggie helped me as always but this time I asked her if she had someone who could help me carry a 50 lb bag of salt and she said sure, as she put on her gloves. I wanted to ask the young man working in the store to help me and Maggie said, are you serious. She carried the bag of salt to my car and wouldn't take a tip. Talk about finding whatever you need. This is the place. Since we're new to the area and like to shop local, Frasers goes out of there way. For the few penny's more you may or may not pay for something, I'd much rather go here than any big box store. I have never experienced a store of any kind where the staff is as helpful or knowledgable as Frasers Hardware. The range of what they stock is amazing. You don't have to walk around looking for something. They take you right to it. Friendly. They always have suggestions when I have a problem but don't know a solution. When you need a particular item, this is the place to go. Not as inexpensive as Home Depot, but the assistance you receive is worth the price. I needed to re-handle my favorite ball peen hammer and Fraser's had exactly what I was looking for in a new 16" hickory handle. When I needed air hose and air tool fittings, I was able to source them at Fraser's quickly. Lots of yard and seasonal supplies/tools. They also duplicate keys. Local, with plenty of parking. Fraser's employees were extremely helpful, and expedited my multiple item checkout. They take cash or credit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

I would highly recommend this Hardware store. I have been using them for almost 15 years. Their prices are extremely competitive and their staff is always friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. I typically ask a lot of questions when dealing with a home project and they are always patient with me and their answers, suggestions and advice have always been spot on.It's nice in this day and age of big impersonal stores to find a local establishment that provides exception service , quality products and remembers how to treat a customer well. They keep a great range and variety of stock and only once in 15 years did they not have something I needed. They are open 7 days a week which is great. The store is owned by brothers: Mark Fraser and Dan Fraser and both have personally served me many times over the years. They are great guys and always a pleasure to deal with.
