I have had their burger dinners which are pretty good except sometimes on weekends they taste like day old burgers. This is typical at MANY places you order from. It's not all the time at Wayne's though. I do recommend Wayne's to anyone. Note that everyone has their own taste for pizza and other foods and most places have different ways to prepare the pizza with various toppings. Ex: Pizza sauces taste different per restaurant. Different ingredients in Italian subs. Some add sweet or hot capicola (original ingredient for Italian subs), Instead of mortadella, they'll use normal bologna (should be in an American sub!). So opinions on what tastes good or bad is up to the individual and of course, if the restaurant itself truly serves dry steak, soggy salads, day old subs, or pasta not cooked "Al Dente". I suggest reading reviews BEFORE ordering from someplace you've never ordered from.

The fried dough dessert was above average but also not special. The chocolate sauce mixed with the powdered coating adds a bit extra and made it more enjoyable, but overall it is forgettable dessert. The problem was that we waited 45 minutes for 5 of the mini pizzas when other people who had ordered after us, ordered WHOLE pizzas and received their orders before us. After patiently waiting, we decided to ask the staff what was going on with our order 40 mins later. They stated it was due to a large party gathering they were currently hosting, apologized and stated they were getting ready to put our pizzas on a plate??? Well, they did just that because when it came out, it looked like they had quickly slapped it on! And even better, it came out COLD! :) It was mediocre and underwhelming to say the least. Not worth the 45 minute wait at all. At this point, we were very frustrated and had asked if we could get a refund if they hadn't already prepared the 2 sweet mini pizzas. They said they already did and that they'd be out in another 3 minutes. They finally brought out the 2 mini pizzas and then another 3 savory mini pizzas as an apology from the kitchen for the extreme wait. If not for that, I would've left a 1-star review. To be quite frank, if they had told us that the kitchen was running behind and that there was going to be a wait, it would've been less frustrating. However, nothing of that sort was mentioned whatsoever during the ordering process. Also, if they simply forgot to make our order, they should've just said that and been honest instead of blaming it on the party because others that had ordered after us were clearly getting their pizzas before us. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending this to others.

I stopped into Village Pizza this week again and was reminded by the upbeat friendly atmosphere and another fantastic experience that I should really get on it, so here goes.... There is somthing about walking into a local place, feeling welcome and knowing that your order is going to be made the way you like it! We are always searching for great pizza and taziki sauce made perfectly. We found it here! We have never ordered anything we did not enjoy. The owner is kind, welcoming and makes us glad we stopped by. She always has a smile and a little banter while we wait. We see her talking and laughing with all of her customers making them feel at home. The staff have always been polite, accurate and quick with our orders. We don't even live in town anymore but make the drive anytime we are wanting takeout because it's just worth it for the quality, price and friendly service ​ Hungry? You don't really feel like cooking do you? Why not go to Village Pizza? Highly recommend!
